"Excellent facilities, luxurious and clean room with great view of the rice terraces from balcony. Air con was powerful enough to keep room cool in day time and warm and snug at night. The camp looks dreamy at night time with lights on, peaceful with only sound you can hear is water trickling on the rice terraces and frogs in them croaking. Entrance to Jiuqu Yunhuan rice terrace scenic area is less than 5mins walk. Worth getting up early to see the sun rise as the terraces look the best in the morning as the light simmers off the water (in Spring). Thanks to the boss who helped us with our luggage and gave a lift to the cable car station on our way down. Would definitely stay again!"

The guesthouse prices are outrageous; a place that would normally cost 200 yuan can jump to three figures during holidays. The key issue is that the scenic area itself is just average, with nothing much to see, and I feel there's some misleading advertising online. Furthermore, the rooms have very poor soundproofing, and basic amenities like air conditioning and showers are inadequate. In short, if you live nearby, it's okay to drive there on weekends to enjoy the mountain air, but it's not worth making a special trip."
