overall property was good.last day I got stuck in their lift due to some malfunction for about 15minutes abd nobody came for my help .Only after 15minutes I got any help from the hotel staff.So my take average for the services.

Tucked away beautifully in the mountains, this place is so much more than just a hotel; it is a true sanctuary for the soul, and an absolute haven for anyone traveling on their own. As a woman traveling solo, feeling safe, respected, and at ease in my environment is my absolute highest priority. This property exceeded every expectation. The ambiance is incredibly calm and grounded, and the security and layout of the property felt entirely secure. The property itself beautifully balances a premium aesthetic with the raw, free-spirited energy of the hills. My room offered breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar range, making it the perfect spot for quiet morning meditations, journaling, and listening to the whispers of the wind. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the warmth of the staff. The hospitality here feels genuinely attentive and heart-centered, rather than just transactional. The team went completely out of their way to ensure I felt comfortable, looked after, and welcome at all times. The rooftop terrace is also a gorgeous, peaceful spot to enjoy an incredible meal while soaking in the panoramic mountain views. If you are a solo female traveler looking to reconnect with nature, find inner peace, and experience genuine Himalayan warmth in a safe environment, this is exactly where you need to be. I left feeling completely rejuvenated, safe, and deeply inspired. I cannot recommend them enough! The hotel was not as good as shown in images and room was not well designed. Lift was not working properly. It was expensive according to facilities. But it was at a good location, service was average, cutlery was not properly cleaned, electric ports were not working properly. Ac was too small and not working, and ac remote was also not given we have to use buttons on the ac which can give us a shock

A wonderful hotel, from the staff,food,reception, breakfast, bar..5**** very kind and generous staff... the taxi service from Bhupinder was fantastic.. over all a beautiful place to stay..with wonderful views of the himalayas!!

The stay was fantastic! Perfectly located with scenic views, the property offered top-notch amenities and a serene ambiance. The food was delicious, varied, and fresh. Service was exceptional and attentive—truly a memorable experience!

I enjoyed my stay here overall, especially because of the peaceful garden atmosphere. It really feels like you’re staying in the middle of nature, surrounded by greenery and fresh air. In terms of cleanliness, I would say it was average. Since the property is located within a garden environment, I noticed that some areas showed signs of wear, including a bit of rust and mold in certain places. I believe there is room for improvement in maintenance and upkeep. That being said, what truly made the experience enjoyable was Kittu. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help. He took great care of everything and made sure my stay was smooth and comfortable. His hospitality really stood out and made a positive difference. The breakfast was also delicious and freshly prepared. It was one of the highlights of my stay and a great way to start each morning. One thing to note is the location. The property is situated midway between the main areas, which means taxis do not usually pass by regularly. If you need transportation, it is best to ask the manager to help arrange a taxi for you. The property is not within walking distance of everything. It takes some time to travel down to the Dalai Lama Temple area, and it also takes a while to go up to Dharamkot. Depending on your plans, you may need to arrange transportation or be prepared for a bit of walking. Overall, if you enjoy nature, greenery, and a peaceful environment away from the crowds, this is a lovely place to stay. While the maintenance could be improved in some areas, the warm hospitality from Kittu and the tasty breakfast made the experience worthwhile.

Awesome stay, great food. I have travel-led across himachal and north indian food here is the best. This is a repeated stay and as always staff was super helpful and courteous. Rooms are cosy and quite giving restful sleep. Special thanks to sahil for going out of the way and sharing helpful trips and contacts for nearby attractions for a hassle-free blessed trip and darshan at nearby shaktipeeth.

superb stay, got an early check-in Mr Ishaan is a very good host always smiling got upgraded from the back view to the front mountain view, Restaurant is also good would definitely be staying in the same hotel and would definitely recommend it.

We recently had a superb stay at hotel king castle, mcleodganj. All the staff members of the hotel were courteous and helpful with providing services. They even helped us in arranging our local sightseeing tour which was a great experience. The hotel is tucked in a quiet corner on the main road in a very peaceful setting amid-st nature. It's situated at about 1. 5 km from the main mcleodganj square. The view from the balcony was amazing. With breathtaking views of the sunrise, sunset, and the panaromic view of the valley. I'll also rate the property high on hygiene and cleanliness. Overall a safe and comfortable place to stay for families, couples and foreign tourists in mcleodganj. Would love to stay here again when in mcleodganj.

I stayed in a private room and had a wonderful experience. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the view from the room was absolutely beautiful. The peaceful surroundings made my stay even more enjoyable. A special thanks to Raj, who manages the property. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. I noticed that some of the dormitory rooms appear a little older compared to the private rooms, but overall the place has a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The property provides food for guests, and there is also the nearby Utopia Café where you can enjoy additional meal options. The location is in Upper Dharamkot, so it is a bit more secluded compared to the main town. However, this is exactly what makes it special. It is quiet, peaceful, and perfect for anyone looking to escape the noise, traffic, and crowds. If you’re seeking a place to rest, reflect, or simply enjoy nature, this location is ideal. The property can be reached by tuk-tuk, making transportation convenient despite the hillside location. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The beautiful views, peaceful environment, comfortable private room, and Raj’s hospitality made this a memorable experience. I would happily stay here again.
