So I couldn't get the room card, and I tossed at the door for a long time before getting the assistance of other passengers and calling customer service to get a solution. 🍄 The room is on the top floor - it is a loft - the beam is a bit short~~ We are very afraid of hitting our heads when we are old, otherwise it is a special accommodation experience. 🍄 The space is spacious, but the kitchen + dining table in this room is very narrow, very different from the reservation photo! The equipment is quite complete! There are tableware and electric kettles. 🍄 There is room for rest + reading on the first floor. In the bathroom next to it, there is a small self-service washing machine.. I can't understand the operation instructions and stop! 🍄 It is very close to the cruise terminal, and you can walk with your luggage. 🍄 Nearby restaurant--not bad!"

"I have only positive things to say about the Victoria Letterario, even after the shock during the check in. Upon arrival for check in, the reception staff told me that my booking was cancelled! I showed them the communication of trip.com 3 days earlier confirming my booking, which their system has not registered. Jorge, the concierge, was very apologetic and offered me the only room available that day which I accepted, while he will get in touch with the intermediary to find out what went wrong. It appears that trip.com and similar platforms purchase the beds in great numbers from a company hotelbeds.com- I went to my room and I came down with my iPad and I and Jorge got in touch with Trip.com via my account. Trip.com replied immediately, confirming my booking and promising that they will get in touch with hotelbeds.com. As it was already 7pm, Trip.com did no manage to get through the staff at hotelbeds. Trip.com advice that if hotelbeds.com did no reply or confirm the booking then I'll have to pay and Trip.com will refund me right away. I was happy with that. I stayed the 2 nights in the hotel, and only the morning of the day I checked out the hotel Victoria Letterario received finally the confirmation of the booking from hotelbeds. Trip.com was every effective in dealing with the issue and I'll use them again and Jorge, at the Victoria Letteriario dealt with the issue very professionally all they way through, so did the manager of the hotel too. Trieste is a small city, and you can walk from the hotel to the major landmarks in 20 minutes. I loved the decoration of the rooms, the bathroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The TV channels were all in Italian but I don't care much about the telly when I travel. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast, it has everything that a good hotel breakfast should have and more, namely its attentive staff. A five stars stay!!!"

"Frequent weekend awayer's we loved everything at this boutique style hotel. The staff and front desk were aware of our needs before we were. The vehicle valet parking truly convenient as parking in Trieste can be daunting if you don't know your way around. We loved breakfast and it was beautifully presented and cooked to order. We could have sat eating all day! The room was fitted with an amazingly comfy bed and pillows and the decor delights the senses. We will certainly return to this gem."

The only negative point is that when I check out I told you a reusable silicone bag had disappeared, he was limited to educately excuse****, instead of offering me a compensation for throwing my property into waste."
