"⭐⭐⭐½ — Pricia Resort Yoron, Japan My stay at Pricia Resort on Yoron Island was a mixed but overall pleasant experience. The location is undeniably stunning — crystal-clear turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, and the kind of tropical scenery that makes you feel completely removed from the everyday hustle. The standout of the entire trip was without a doubt the staff - Tana, Takumi, Hoshi. From check-in to check-out, every team member was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make my stay special. They went above and beyond with local recommendations and were always on hand with a smile. Breakfast is great with lots of choices on buffet. There is also all day lounge to get free drinks and nuts. The resort itself has real charm and a wonderful atmosphere, but it’s clear that the facilities are showing their age. Several areas would benefit significantly from renovation — from the rooms to the common areas, a refresh would bring the physical experience in line with the exceptional service and natural beauty surrounding it. That said, if you’re looking for a peaceful island escape with a welcoming team and breathtaking scenery, Pricia Resort still delivers. With some investment in the property, this could easily be one of the best resort experiences in southern Japan. Recommended for: nature lovers, snorkeling enthusiasts, and travelers seeking an off-the-beaten-path Japanese island escape. A must visit - Yurigahama Beach! Uninhabited place and this is the iconic beach of Yoron."

"I used it for the first time. It was a pity that the jacuzzi was not available, but the others were very satisfied and had a good time The baby goat, the relaxing pool, and the room were tatami mats, so I was able to spend it relaxing. The starry sky was so beautiful at night. I would like to invite your friends and family next time."

"A great beach vacation location. It is a good stay for one or two nights. The local restaurants and cafes provide ample opportunities for one or two days. We got here using a taxi, as our ferry arrived too late on the first night. Taking the public bus back is no problem. But being at this location without a car results in lots of walking. It is a better place to stay if you are getting around by car."

"Located on the nice beach of Amami Oshima, it is a spa resort with calm air facing Kakeroma Island. The area is rich in nature and there are few street lights, so you can also pour down the stars in the sky. It was a visit in December, but some people enjoyed the sea activities with water temperatures above ２０ degrees. As for the room, I had room service beer while watching the sky color dyed in the sunset from the window glass of the whole sea. It is very clean and has all the amenities. The open-air bath where you can hear the sound of the waves is until 0 o'clock. Towels are also complete. It's a personal feeling, but there was a yoga lesson on the wood deck where you can see the sunset, and you can feel the power of the island with your whole body. It's a place where you can spend a day relaxing."

"The hotel staff are very friendly and they also provide airport pick-up and drop-off services! But if you come to Amami and don’t have a car, it’s really inconvenient to travel. But you can ask the hotel to help you book a sightseeing taxi. Everyone should try to avoid the rainy season in June. It rains every day, but we were lucky enough to have a sunny day. The hotel has a lawn to watch the starry sky, which is so beautiful!"

"Overall I was satisfied. The step between the bathroom and the indoor part, I didn't care when I was young, but the height difference was enough to care. I want you to challenge improvement because the sea side view was also the best."

"AMAZING HOTEL with a beautiful view. The rooms are very spacious and clean and has a balcony that looks over the ocean. The washrooms are huge with both bath tub, shower and traditional shower options. It’s located in a peaceful area and is the perfect place to relax. They are connected to Native Sea Dive shop and will pick you up for snorkeling and other activities. The staff are warm and helpful. I decided to get breakfast and dinner included. The food is very good and the dinner is a 6-7 course meal. Well worth the money. If you don’t have a car, which I didn’t make sure to get the meals included as the next place to walk to is 15 mins away. They also pick you up and drop you off at the airport. There is self serve laundry that is 300 yen and 100 yen for drying. I’m already planning my next trip back. Highly recommend. Amami island is stunning!"

"This was the best island accommodation I have ever experienced. The location is perfect for enjoying beautiful seaside views and snorkeling. Right in the heart of Kumasaki Beach, I could reach the coral reefs in just five minutes. I was even lucky enough to see a turtle while snorkeling. The water quality is amazing—incredibly clear and full of beautiful colors. The on-site restaurant, Forest, is also worth mentioning. I ended up having all my meals there because the food was consistently excellent. I tried almost everything on the menu and enjoyed every dish. The kitchen does a wonderful job of balancing local flavors with Western-style cuisine. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and smiling. The only small issue was that the curtains in my room were a bit thin, so the morning sun would wake me up early. Other than that, it was a flawless stay."

"The facilities are old but the staff 々 is kind. I visited Kikai Island by ferry, but it was saved because it picked me up to the port early in the morning or late. It was good to have chicken rice for breakfast."
