"For just over 1000 yen, getting a one-night stay with two meals for two people, plus a sea view, is incredible value! The dinner buffet, while not huge, had excellent quality ingredients. We feasted on delicious salmon and tuna. The room was spacious. Sure, there were a few minor imperfections in some corners, but for this price, I can't complain. The only real issue was that the hotel only offers free luggage storage until 3 PM. They didn't mention this when we dropped off our bags. Halfway through our Kumano Kodo hike, a friend behind me delivered the bad news. I ended up having to carry six people's luggage to our next accommodation all by myself. It was quite a heartbreaking experience."

"Extremely satisfied with this hotel! We stayed for two nights with breakfast and dinner included, so we got to try a good variety of dishes. The atmosphere is very Japanese and elegant. The hotel service was exceptionally good, and the environment was very clean. The path to the onsen was a bit scenic and made for some great photos. They even have colorful yukatas you can choose from!"

We treat you to delicious meals centered around seasonal ingredients. We have both Japanese-style and Western-style rooms available as a place of relaxation.

"Beautiful Ryokan! The room I stayed in had tatami floors and western beds. The doors slide instead of open outwards like they usually do. Toilets are relatively small, but the shower had great water pressure and temperature! However we did not shower much because.. We showered at the Onsen instead since we were there to spend time! The Onsen is tattoo-friendly as confirmed by the check in staff, and the water really had skin smoothing effects. Yukatas are available at lobby area for all guests, and level two has a restaurant with microwave and ice machine outside for your konbini meals. No view from the room, but that's fine cos the Onsen itself was worth a visit. Steep short hill up to the lobby, but if you drive then that's fine. Free to use outdoor BBQ area, but didn't have the chance to. Rooms were comfy, sleep was good with minimal disturbance. Side note: my underwear got stolen at the onsen and I never managed to find it back again but that's fine cos it was worth the Onsen experience. Stayed two nights here, no regrets, would totally do it again! Oh and Onsen area has got numbered lockers to store your belongings but not your undies!"

"The room was a bit smaller than I expected, and the facilities were a little dated. However, the sea view was absolutely breathtaking – it was so refreshing to open the curtains to that sight. The hotel offers direct access to Shirahama Beach from its first floor, which was super convenient for swimming and watching fireworks. It's also very close to the dining street and Daiso, making shopping and eating incredibly easy. The bus stop is just a minute's walk from the main entrance, making it easy to get to attractions. The breakfast was great, with a wide variety of options, including both Japanese and buffet styles. "The hotel was perfect! Breakfast with an ocean view was lovely, and the room was incredibly spacious and new, especially compared to other hotels in the area. The 11th-floor onsen offered breathtaking views, and I loved soaking in the beautiful Shirahama sunsets every evening. Ramen shops, convenience stores, and drugstores are all within walking distance. The bus stop is a short walk down to the beach, and all the main attractions are easily accessible from there, which was very convenient. The only downside was the uphill walk, which was quite a struggle when carrying luggage. However, I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit."

Nanki Shirahama Onsen is one of the three oldest hot springs in Japan, appearing in the Manyoshu and Nihon Shoki. Please spend a relaxing time surrounded by greenery and the sea.

"Oooedo Onsen Monogatari: Not a Resort, a Rebirth* This isn't just a hot spring resort; it's a portal to another dimension. From the moment you swap your clothes for a yukata, the magic begins. You are no longer a tourist; you are a traveler in time. The ryokan experience is pure bliss. Waking up on tatami mats, the world outside feels distant, irrelevant. And the onsens... from open-air baths under the stars to secluded rock pools. Each immersion strips away a layer of urban fatigue, leaving only tranquility. But the true glory is the indulgence. Exquisite kaiseki dinners featuring the ocean's freshest treasures, paired with all-you-can-drink sake, beer, and whisky. It’s a feast for the soul where you never have to say ”no.” You don't just leave this place relaxed. You leave reborn, carrying the taste of a life lived more fully, if only for a weekend. It’s an investment in your soul."

"A truly satisfying hotel in Shirahama! All facilities and the main building are accessible, and the hot springs and foot bath are excellent. The room wasn't small, and even though it was facing the road, it was incredibly quiet at night. The sea breeze was so pleasant! Shirahama is a lot of fun, and I'll definitely stay at Key 1 again next time! The location is super convenient; it's easy to walk to everything nearby. I even walked to the local beer factory for a refreshing pint – fantastic!"

The guesthouse has a great location, just a minute or two's walk from Shirahama Beach, and there are two bus stops nearby, making it convenient to get around. The breakfast was also delicious and clearly prepared with care. The owner is Chinese, and very enthusiastic and helpful with any questions you might have, making it a truly warm and welcoming place. There are also a few hot spring spots not far away, making it an ideal base for exploring.

The room faces the harbor and is very comfortable. The area is very quiet at night. It's a 15-minute walk from the seafood market. Senjojiki, Sandanbeki, and White Beach are all close together. The bus station is also very close, only ten minutes away. Secondly, the hotel's breakfast and dinner are very rich and attentive. I recommend everyone to try the kaiseki! The facilities in the room are very comprehensive and have a strong sense of ceremony. There are private baths and foot baths. It's so refreshing to soak in them after a day of strolling! The hotel also provides a bus shuttle service to the station, and free bicycles are available. I rented a bicycle and saw many beautiful views around the island. Finally, the owner, Lao Bai, is very hospitable and will drive us out to play. The two staff members can also communicate in Chinese, so it's basically barrier-free. It's very suitable for an in-depth vacation. A very satisfying trip

The Japanese-style tatami room was very clean, but when I first entered, there was a strong grassy smell. The service was excellent; every staff member was very attentive. There was a Chinese girl at the front desk who was very lovely and patient. She took every matter seriously and meticulously solved every problem. Having her there made us feel much more at ease. My favorite spot was the tea and relaxation bar on the second floor of the hotel. Whenever I wanted coffee, I could go downstairs and have it freshly ground, which was fantastic. The hot spring was also great and very clean. The cleaning staff, an adorable white-haired grandma, even played with claw machines! It's highly recommended. The bus stops right at the entrance, which is very convenient.

This was my first time visiting Shirahama Onsen, and I chose this guesthouse near Shirarahama Beach. Although it's a bit old, it's been well-maintained and managed after renovation. It even has separate natural hot springs for men and women, which was incredibly enjoyable. We stayed two nights in a sea-view room; the ocean view at night was stunning. From our window, we could see the bus stop for Shirahama Station and the distant Engetsu Island. The last photo shows the hotel as seen from the bus stop for Shirahama Station. The room was incredibly spacious and even had a kitchen. Some kitchen utensils could be borrowed from the communal kitchen. This was by far the most spacious and comfortable sea-view room we've ever stayed in Japan. Highly recommended!

In order to see the sunset of the sea and the round moon island, the price is very affordable, one person can also enjoy the room, and there are separate toilets and bathrooms in the room. Although it is the most mini bathroom I have ever seen, the bath is still enough. The sister at the front desk is very warm and attentive and will inform the precautions in advance. Sleeping needs to be paved by yourself, which is also a very interesting experience. There is a nearby food manual tested by the staff of the hotel in the room, you can refer to the local restaurant. It takes ten minutes to walk to the vicinity of Yuanyue Island. It was cloudy in the evening and there was no sunset. I went directly to the coral reef to eat a lobster dinner. The road along the coastline is particularly comfortable. The homestay also has free bicycles, but the local road is a bit narrow so there is no experience. The next day, walk half an hour to thousands of stacks, and then walk 15 minutes to three sections of the wall. In addition, the weather in Baibin is really changing rapidly. When it comes, the wind is beautiful. After dinner, it will be windy and rainy. The next day, the light rain from time to time can blow the sea breeze that can blow the skull off the sea breeze is also unforgettable.

This was my second stay at Shirahama-kan, and as before, I booked a room with a foot bath. Although the hotel is a bit old, the room was very spacious with three beds, and my child and I slept very comfortably. The location is right in the center of the beach; you just cross the road to get to Shirahama Beach. There are also many restaurants nearby, as well as a 24-hour supermarket and Daiso for shopping. The hotel service was very warm and welcoming. There's even a kitchen in the hotel, so you can buy meat from the big supermarket and grill it yourself. Highly recommended!

The Japanese-style house was dismantled into a guest house. It is only for girls. It is better. It is not a mixed bag. The owner Rinji is a man, but it seems that he can't live here, so our actions are OK. Facilities: The onsen is a traditional Japanese hot spring. While the outdoor bath doesn't offer scenic views, the water temperature was perfect. We stayed in a Japanese-style room this time. The occupancy was low, so it was peaceful and uncrowded. Cleanliness: It was spotless and met all standards. Environment: The location is fantastic! It's right next to Senjojiki and just a 3-5 minute walk from the only small restaurant in the vicinity.
