"The now-Emperor of Japan stayed here when he was still the Prince. Not the most new and fancy hotel in the area, but still has its unique charm. Our room was by the lake which the sunset can be viewed from the balcony (but unfortunately we missed it due to arriving too late). Service was great, staff have good English. The breakfast was definitely the highlight, the food was nice and the view from the venue was very pleasant. Our plan didn’t have dinner but I am sure it would be just as good."

Service - All the bartenders are professional, polite and friendly. The manager speaks good English and other colleagues are equipped with translation equipment. Communication is completely trouble-free and guests are provided with good service and a homely feeling. "The location is located on the mountain, so when I went to rent a car, the driving difficulty was quite high. The view and the promenade on the pilgrimage road were good. The Hell Pilgrimage Promenade is made up of a deck that is easy to go with comfortable shoes, so it is easy to walk, and if you come down after looking around, you can spend about an hour leisurely if you have time. There are not many shopping streets in the village, and there are many places that close around 5:30 pm, so it is difficult to buy alcohol. If you want to have a drink at the ryokan, we recommend that you buy it in advance. There is one Izakaya that runs until 12 pm ^ Although it is an old ryokan, the service of the staff was good and tidy. We stayed in an outdoor private bath, but if there were two adults, it was a small bathtub structure that felt like a water car, but it was good to spend time outdoors and have a private hot spring every time you Warner. I was satisfied. There are not many places to visit, and on a rainy day, walking in hell created an unparalleled atmosphere. "Unzen is a magical place, with all the volcanic steam rising from the ground and the lush greenery dotting the town. I thought it was truly beautiful and this KAI hotel made it doubly special. The services were top-notch, the kaiseiki dinners delicious and interesting, and room was good sized. I am not a fan of traditional Japanese ryokans, so this was a good compromise, and I enjoyed myself there very much!"

"It is the center of Obama Onsen, and if you walk a little, you can see the sea. Parking is 500 yen a day. The hotel feels old, but  It was about 6000 yen for Saturdays and Sundays, so considering the price, I can't say luxury.  It's hard to stay overnight in peace and dark, but I think it's okay if you stay for only one night. There is a washlet in the restroom.  I took off my shoes and it was a file type.  I don't know because I haven't had breakfast. There was a hot spring on the first floor, and if it was vacant, I could use it for free. It was nice to have a salty colorless transparent hot spring near the sea. Also, the feeling of despair in this bath was good.  There is also a municipal bathhouse nearby, which is open from early morning to 10 pm. There was also a guide map in the room where you could stop by."
