Guest UserThis hotel is at the waterfront right in the center of town. It offers excellent value! Afternoon tea, buffet dinner, breakfast and free tea/coffee all day are included in the price. There's a sauna on the 5th floor together with a small gym. A jacuzzi is available for a small fee. Bus 42 from the airport stops just behind the hotel so it's less than a min walk to the reception. The staff are friendly. The room is clean and quite spacious. Best value in town! I'll definitely stay here again.

ApenghalouIt's a 15-20 minute walk from the airport. The restaurant and bar on the 11th floor (where you check in, have breakfast, and get your welcome drink) offers breathtaking panoramic views of the fjord. The room itself was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with an industrial design. There's a parking lot downstairs, and it's convenient for shopping at nearby supermarkets. The room was tiny. Paying over 2,000 NOK a night for a single room in January, it felt ridiculously small. I've stayed at two different Radisson hotels in Oslo that were much better than this one in Tromsø. Plus, the mattress was incredibly soft, with absolutely no support. At this price, aren't you going to get better mattresses for your guests? The moment I lay down, the whole bed just caved in. The pillows were also useless. After a few nights, my back was killing me, my whole body ached, and my neck hurt. The hotel's location is decent, but it's really not worth the price.
On the last day, my Apple Pencil rolled under the bed. When I lifted the mattress to get it, I found used cotton swabs on the bed frame. Then, while packing, I discovered someone else's clothing tag, fruit pits, and a used napkin behind the mirror. So frustrating.
The only redeeming quality was the decent window view. This terrible mattress deserves the lowest rating I've ever given on Trip.com.

Guest UserThe hotel was wonderful. We arrived from Paris very late, almost 11 pm, and the hotel staff patiently guided us through check-in. Since it was so late, we asked her where the nearest supermarket was, and she immediately sent us the location. She was also very patient on the phone, telling us where the microwave was. The key point is that the hotel is incredibly close to the supermarket!! Just two minutes away! Who knows how valuable that distance is in Norway?! And across the bridge is the Arctic Cathedral, and it's only a 10-minute walk to the meeting point for all activities! We truly stayed in a hotel where everything was excellent! Norway is such a pleasant and memorable place!

I have upgraded to deluxe house from the hotel email due to adding two friends of mine are joining. I have paid so much extra to top up from the hotel. When I checked in, the receptionist said I have to pay extra NOK 200 because I did not inform them that I have 2 extra friends are joining.
Firstly, I did call to the hotel to check how much I need to top up due to two friends are joining. Second, the deluxe house is meant to have 4 -5 people to stay in, we have 4 people in total. Third, I booked this hotel on my first night and last night in my Tromso trip. I’m looking forward to stay river view and garden view. But unfortunately the service that I received is extremely disappointed and bad!!

TurkmenbashiAn unpretentious but comfortable hotel in an unbeatable location in central Tromso (the third photo is the view from the hotel window). Highlights include the friendly staff (a shout out here to the ever helpful Petter), tasty and healthy breakfast, and comfortable sitting areas that mean you don't have to hang out in your room.
Given the quality of the hotel it is surprising - and highly annoying - that they don't provide kettles in the room (I even offered to pay a deposit), the more frustrating because some photos on the site show coffee machines: so some rooms do have these facilities. The selection of toiletries is also surprisingly meagre - no shower gel for example, which seems unnecessarily cheapskate. My other gripe is that they need more individual tables in the breakfast room: finding a space at a long table feels reminiscent of youth hostelling...
With these shortcomings noted, the hotel can be recommended and is good value for Tromso.

Our best stay for the trip. The room is very big, clean and fully equipped. Good location, walking distance to the ferry terminal and 15 mins by bus to the airport. The bus stop is just the next street of the apartment. Shopping, groceries, eateries are all nearby. Lucky to see the northern light on the first night outside our apartment. Strongly recommend all to stay when you are in Tromso.

Ravissara S.The room is spacious and clean. Great view from the room's window. I really like the room layout and it is beautifully furbished. The kitchen is great because it comes with A COMPLETE set of kitchen utensils. You will never run out of anything. This is also my first time staying in an apartment-like hotel in Europe, so I was impressed by the dishwasher. The floor is also warmed, which I like. Especially, in the bathroom, my feet didn't feel cold at all, unlike other places. I could not use the kiosk to check-in, but it worked just fine on my iPhone. I was worried about using smart key in my iPhone, as I read a lot of complaints from other reviews. However, it worked perfectly, including the entrance, elevator, and my room. I had no issue at all despite my thick phone case. During my stay, I met no staff. Luckily, there was not any issue, so everything was fine. Lastly, the location is the best. it is located in the centre, and there are several supermarkets nearby. Overall, it is a great place to stay and the price is very affordable. I think I will stay here again if I have a chance to return to Tromsø.

Hygienic level is normal
The hotel location is pretty good
There will be a bus to the airport within a 4-minute walk
It takes 6 minutes to walk to the world's northernmost McDonald's.
(28/10/2024)
Service is also very good
Front desk staff smiling
Free Waffle making materials were provided on the day we stayed.
It's a pity that we were almost out of batter when we got back.
The facilities are also normal
The only thing that can be improved is the smell of the hotel room
There will be a (moist?) smell

This was the cheapest place within the walking distance to the city center. But take note that walking means walking up slopes in snow and ice conditions. The main entrance to the hostel was so icy because no one shoveled the snow. The hostel is actually cozy and neat but the entrance is literally the most dangerous place in the whole city I kid you not. Photo attached for reference.
It's self check in and I didnt see anyone locking any rooms or the main entrance when I was there. However, trust basis is quite high and I did enjoy my stay there.
