Had a wonderful stay as a couple celebrating our wedding anniversary. The room was spacious, clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The staff were very accommodating and always greeted us with a smile. The location was convenient, and the amenities made our stay even more relaxing especially the pool🤩. Breakfast was also delicious with plenty of choices. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends🥰 Looking forward to staying here again!

Initiating with the positive aspects: - The breakfast was exceptional, scoring a perfect 10/10. The restaurant offered an excellent range of food options, maintained a clean environment, and had courteous staff. - The hotel is situated within a shopping mall, though it is not of significant size. The ground floor houses a large supermarket, and the second floor features a coffee shop and multiple fast food establishments. While the hotel is located in the city center, there are limited activities available nearby. The condition of the appliances, furniture, and general maintenance throughout the hotel is subpar, with the exception of the restaurant. Rooms are in need of significant improvements, including gum. The hotel's cleaning standards could be enhanced. Additionally, it is necessary to wear gloves after changing bed linens and towels to throw the trashbin. I have not observed any hotel that adheres to strict cleaning protocols.

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) I recently stayed at Figtree Hotel, and overall, it was an average experience with both positives and areas that need improvement. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated that they changed my room upon request. My first room had no window, so being moved to a room with natural light made my stay much more comfortable. The hotel’s location is also convenient and made it easy to get around the city. Unfortunately, there were a few issues that affected my experience. The Wi-Fi was unreliable throughout my stay, which was frustrating. Breakfast was also disappointing, as there was very little variety and it mainly consisted of Filipino dishes. It would be great to have more options for international guests. Another inconvenience was the room service process. The phone in my room wasn’t working, so I had to go to the 5th floor every time I wanted to place a food order. Since there was also a room service delivery fee, I ended up carrying my own food back to my room, which defeated the purpose of ordering room service. Overall, the staff were accommodating, the location was good, and I appreciated that my room was changed when I raised my concern. However, improvements to the Wi-Fi, breakfast variety, and room service system would make a significant difference to the guest experience.

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The lobby was elegant, spacious, and impeccably clean, creating a luxurious first impression. Our room was even more impressive — modern, spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, the linens smelled fresh, and the room offered a stunning view that made every morning feel special. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, always ensuring the room remained tidy and fully stocked. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member we encountered was polite, attentive, and always willing to help. Whether it was assisting with our luggage, giving recommendations for nearby attractions, or responding quickly to requests, the service consistently went above and beyond. It’s rare to find a hotel where every employee genuinely seems to care about the guests’ experience. The amenities were also outstanding. The swimming pool area was relaxing and beautifully maintained, perfect for both families and couples. The hotel’s restaurant served delicious food with a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The breakfast buffet in particular was excellent, offering both local and international dishes that were fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere throughout the property was peaceful, relaxing, and ideal for a much-needed getaway. The location of the hotel was another major advantage. It was conveniently situated near popular tourist spots, restaurants, and shopping areas, making it easy to explore the area while still enjoying a quiet and comfortable retreat at the end of the day. Overall, our stay was truly memorable, and I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. Everything — from the cleanliness and facilities to the outstanding hospitality — was top-notch. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, relaxation, and exceptional service. We will definitely be returning in the future and are already looking forward to our next stay.

hotel is nicley located near SM iloilo and there are a lot of cheap food choices outside and inside the hotel. our concern is that the walls are thin and made of plywood which we can easily hear the neighbors conversation and TV. Service and cleanliness is ok, parking is very limited

Check-in was a breeze. The front desk staff were very friendly and proactively helped me choose a room type. The room itself was cozy and well-equipped, and I especially appreciated the practical wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The cleanliness was impeccable; not a speck of dust even in the corners. I had a very comfortable stay!

The establishment doth possess a somewhat warm ambiance. Whilst a smattering of dust may be observed, it shall suffice for a brief interlude. The staff, I must avow, are most amiable and accommodating. Though initially, the lack of amenities caused concern, they are, in truth, available upon request, a fact readily clarified by the front desk. I am particularly gratified by the ample provision of hangers and the water is splendid, most especially the heated variety. The twin bed proves adequate, minor blemishes notwithstanding. Indeed, for a temporary haven in times of exigency, it serves admirably. The air conditioning chills most effectively, and the modern television, complete with Netflix and YouTube, proves a delightful diversion. A water heater is provided, though sustenance is not served within the chambers, a restaurant on the ground floor notwithstanding. Though it oft appears unoccupied. In summation, I deem it worthy of 3.8 stars.

The room is great. Location is near SM City Iloilo, walking distance. Near the diversion road, didn’t expect that our room has a refrigerator, microwave, sink and even a dining table. Just like a pad. We stayed at Bangkok room, just so know the free wifi can’t reach the room though.

Ong Bun Pension House is a decent and budget-friendly place to stay. The location is convenient and the place itself is generally okay for short stays. The rooms are simple but comfortable enough if you’re just looking for a place to rest after a day of exploring. However, one thing to note is that the number of CRs and shower rooms is quite limited, which can sometimes be inconvenient when many guests are staying at the same time. There may be times when you have to wait, especially during busy hours. Overall, it’s still a reasonable option if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay and don’t mind the shared facilities.
