"We stayed at the hotel from May 22nd to May 29th, 2026, with my 4-year-old granddaughter. It's a good family hotel with a very nice, clean sea, plenty of sun loungers, a beautiful and convenient area, and excellent rooms. The food selection was varied. However, there's a huge downside right now – the hotel is undergoing construction and renovations. There's a complete disregard for guests. From 7 AM to 5 PM, a tractor was relentlessly breaking up concrete by the children's pool, where all the kids' entertainment and the bar are located. This was happening right outside guests' windows, without any consideration for a break, even for children's afternoon naps. It was a nightmare, honestly, to come on vacation and find yourself on a construction site – that's just awful. What's more, noisy and dusty work was being carried out in the main restaurant starting at 7 AM. The plastic sheeting didn't help with either the noise or the smell of the renovations. You need nerves of steel to pay for a vacation and then have breakfast and lunch practically on a construction site. It was hard to find a free table at dinner and lunch to escape the noise. It was TERRIBLE, especially considering how crowded it was. Tour operators don't warn you about the extensive construction. I booked independently on Trip.com and had read that renovations were underway, but I never imagined the scale of it, especially since this is peak season. The hotel is good, BUT I DO NOT RECOMMEND visiting or staying here in the coming months."

"This was the most disappointing hotel of our Nha Trang trip, and I have a few points for everyone's reference. First, we booked a sea view room. When we checked in around 4 PM, they told us they only had rooms on the first floor and no higher floors were available because all rooms were full. When we called the manager, he just reiterated there were no rooms, with an attitude that implied 'take it or leave it.' He said they would check for a higher floor room the next day, but they never contacted me. It's true what other reviews say about them being unfriendly to Chinese guests. Secondly, a major drawback is that there's absolutely nothing around. You can only eat at the hotel. Dinner buffet for two adults and one child was 500 RMB, which is extremely expensive for Nha Trang. The dinner buffet was significantly worse than breakfast, not even offering drinks. Third, even during the May Day holiday, there was only one shuttle bus to the city at 11 AM daily. We had to take a taxi to and from the city in the afternoon, which cost 300 RMB round trip. This is completely different from what reviews claimed about having regular shuttle services. Fourth, traveling with a child, we couldn't really experience the facilities of a 'sports-themed' hotel, and the overall vibe was weak. There wasn't much to do; we just spent two days in the pool. It was also very windy, and the pool had no shade, so it was completely exposed to the sun. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel in any aspect. Of course, the price was indeed cheap, but that's all it had going for it. If you have an early flight, it is conveniently close to the airport, about ten minutes away, making it suitable for a one-night stay before catching a flight."

"A really good hotel for relaxation. Pros: The hotel is large, but guests are well-spread out across the property, so there are no crowds. The food is delicious, and there's free access to the neighboring hotel, as the properties aren't fenced off. Every room offers a fantastic view. It's close to the airport, and the beach is incredibly beautiful with clear water (unlike Nha Trang). We couldn't find any cons. It's a great place for a quiet getaway as a couple or with small children. For slightly older kids, the neighboring hotel would be more interesting as it has daily entertainment. A note: The guests are mostly Russian and Chinese tourists, who can be uncharacteristically noisy, but they tend to hide away from the heat, which leaves plenty of space."

"This being a new hotel, I was a bit worried before my stay due to the lack of reviews. However, those worries were immediately put to rest; it was a comfortable and wonderful hotel. The entire hotel, starting from the lobby, was a beautiful and spacious environment. In particular, the room layout and interior design were fantastic, making my stay a truly relaxing experience. (My only minor disappointment was that the shower drainage was poor, causing water to pool for a long time.) The turndown service also contributed to a comfortable stay. The whole hotel felt very clean, and I felt completely at ease throughout my stay. The garden was also beautifully maintained, and I enjoyed my walks there. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! It was Western-based but also included dishes like pho, banh xeo, and banh mi. Both the taste and quality were superb. While there were many wonderful moments during my hotel stay, what impressed me most was the hospitality of the staff. Every single person was incredibly kind and helpful. Thank you very much! The hotel is a bit out of the way, about a 30-40 minute drive from the city center. I think it's a perfect hotel for a secluded getaway, whether you're enjoying the beach, pool, or just relaxing in your room. Nha Trang had a different vibe compared to Da Nang, even though both are beach resorts. It might have been the season, but the humidity was low, and the climate was pleasant. I definitely want to come back to this hotel someday!"

"Best place I have ever visited for a family. We are family of 3 with 6 years old kid. This place was beyond my expectations from the check in and check out. The villa was modern, sophisticated yet authentic with beautiful gardening. We loved the restaurant day and night(free wine and beer is superb), and the spacious kid club, Splash water park, yoga class, sound healing class. We stayed in Movenpick for the first few days and moved to Alma for the rest of the trip and I regretted that I did not make a reservation for the whole trip at Alma. Next time I would definitely come to Alma for the whole trip. This place is way beyond than the first place in every aspect. (Cleaness, Experience, facilities, interior, service, staff, food) If you want the comfortable & luxurious & full relaxing package for a family, you must try this place. "What I loved most was the private pool in the room, sparkling crystal blue under the sun. The aromatherapy scent inside the hotel room was also delightful, and surprisingly, I didn't spot any common tropical insects during my two-day stay. The hotel's responsiveness truly impressed me; when I called for a pick-up car at checkout, it arrived in less than five minutes. The public areas, spa, breakfast buffet, and even the beach's sand and vegetation far exceeded my expectations. Walking around the hotel grounds, the flowers and trees were all meticulously maintained. Overall, this hotel is absolutely fantastic!"

"This isn't the first time we've chosen this hotel for our vacation. We really love the warm welcome, the varied food options – everything from pastries to seafood. They also have kids' entertainment (our son absolutely adores it, and for us, it's a great way to relax without worrying about him, as they keep them entertained and fed). Upon check-in, we received a nice complimentary gift from the hotel for being repeat guests, which was a lovely surprise. Another plus was getting to check in without waiting until 2 PM; we were able to get our room right after arriving at 11 AM – though we might have just gotten lucky, and we even received a free room upgrade! They put the wristbands on you right away, so you can start using all the facilities as soon as you've checked in. The beach is one of the best, perfect for families with kids, with a gentle slope into the water, crystal clear blue water that's transparent and warm, and soft white sand. We also appreciated the abundance of sun loungers; you could always find a free one. We'd gladly come back here again."

"I traveled alone on vacation and booked a villa with a garden – it was one of my best trips ever! The resort consists of rooms in a multi-story building, two-story blocks, and private villas. The property has 2 amazing pools: large, comfortable, and packed with cool features for kids. There’s also a shop in the main building where you can buy everything from instant noodles and ice cream to shampoo and umbrellas. Two restaurants offer very reasonable prices if you’re on a breakfast-only plan. The resort is literally a 6-minute drive from the airport and, in my opinion, the greenest, shadiest, and most comfortable among nearby options. They provide a shuttle to Nha Trang twice a day, dropping you off at the shopping mall opposite the Lotus Temple on the waterfront, with return shuttles from the same spot twice daily. The ride to Nha Trang takes about 40 minutes. To get around Nha Trang, I used GRAB taxis – just install the app and set ”cash” as the payment method; it worked perfectly. By the way, the resort exchanges Vietnamese dong (VND) at a slightly better rate than the airport. More about the resort: I booked via Trip.com and handled all communication with the resort through the app. Upon arrival, a free pre-arranged transfer (requested via a form they sent) was waiting. The driver met me at the exit with a sign bearing my name. Check-in was quick since it wasn’t busy. The resort is large and handles multiple check-ins/check-outs smoothly. My villa was incredibly spacious and comfortable, equipped with everything you could need (even a flashlight, umbrella, ironing board, and all imaginable toiletries). Housekeeping came daily and provided ample bottled water, so no issues there. There were a few mosquitoes, but the in-room fumigator handled them well. My package included breakfast, served for villa guests at the beachfront restaurant. They also offer afternoon tea (2–4 PM) with drinks, fruit, and pastries – perfect for a midday snack. I chose this resort specifically for its lush greenery, and it was a 100% success! The landscape design, variety of plants, and flowers are indescribably beautiful – you must see it! Waterfalls, ponds, and streams with fish create total relaxation. The grounds are expansive: walking the full loop is nearly 2 km. There’s also a golf course, tennis courts, and a small but well-equipped gym. The resort’s private beach is excellent: plenty of loungers, easy entry into the sea, a lifeguard on duty from 6 AM to 6 PM, and it’s very clean. Note: abandoned construction sites flank the resort, and the sea washes debris onto their shores (naturally, no one cleans it), but it’s not excessive. The coastline itself is huge – 17 km long – perfect for endless walks with very few people. The spa is stunning (private lakeside cabins, skilled masseuses), and the Japanese restaurant on the 20th floor of the main building offers incredible views. In summary: This resort suits any type of vacation. For peace and quiet (choose a villa – serene with greenery right outside), or for families/friends with kids (great entertainment, pools, beach, and restaurant menus). I highly recommend it and will return with my family!"

"Great for a family vacation! We stayed in a sea-view villa, and I had requested a room close to the ocean when booking, so we were lucky to get the second row facing the sea. The villa's private pool is on the rooftop. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of options, but the taste leaned towards Korean cuisine. I suggest they could adjust it slightly to include more Chinese dishes, especially since more and more Chinese guests are staying here. The à la carte food was just okay and not very suitable for young children. The hotel charges 300 RMB a day to rent kitchenware, so we ended up buying our own set of pots, pans, knives, seasonings, rice, noodles, meat, vegetables, and oil from the supermarket to cook for the little ones. For the adults, if you don't want to eat at the hotel, you can order takeout via Grab, but it can only be delivered to the hotel entrance, so you'll need to pick it up yourself. Other than that, everything else was good. Service requests were generally responded to promptly; even when an AC broke in one of the rooms in the middle of the night, someone came to fix it quickly. If you turn right after exiting the hotel, there's a coconut stall a few hundred meters down the road that sells very cheap coconuts, around 4 RMB each."

"In the 4-room villa we stayed in, it seemed like ants had built a nest in the largest room on the first floor, with hordes of ants near the head of the bed. Even after checking in, and the bellboy who helped with our luggage saw and confirmed it, he just sprayed some ant killer and left as if it was nothing. We barely used that room. The hotel shares its lobby with Wyndham Garden, but there's a separate counter across from it. Breakfast is also shared with Wyndham. Buggy service is operated separately from Wyndham and needs to be called via KakaoTalk, but the response is so slow that we often ended up walking. Once, I waited 25 minutes with my golf bag and ended up walking from the lobby to our beachfront villa, carrying a golf bag on each side. The price isn't much different from Wyndham, but it was incredibly inconvenient. Wyndham buggies frequently just drive off after asking for a room number. The outdoor pool on the first floor had no water, and only the rooftop pool was filled. The Wyndham Garden pool was under renovation, so only the infinity pool was available. I think they should address the ant problem first, and at least have someone permanently stationed at the buggy service and lobby counter. Alternatively, if the price difference were greater, it might be an option for value for money. This was my third visit to Nha Trang. If we visit Nha Trang again next time, we'll just opt for a 5-star hotel in the city center. It's quicker to get around without buggies, cleaner, has more good restaurants, and cheaper and better massage places seem more abundant. This is my experience after 4 days at Cam Ranh Villas!"
