Amazing
LLilylovestravelWe had a really great stop over there. It takes a little time from the airport but really worth of selecting the Westin Doha. It costs us around USD15 by taxi. You can enjoy their outstanding service and facilities. All staff were really attentive!
Thank you again!
AAnonymous UserAll the hotel staff are friendly and welcoming. The room is very clean and comfortable, especially it’s also child friendly. Their pool staff are very attentive too. Breakfast is great with variety of foods. The staff at breakfast are very attentive to our needs and service is top notch. Kudos to them!
MMariaVAThe hotel is absolutely stunning, and the service is top-notch. The only downside is the shallow water and silt at the bottom of the sea, but that’s certainly not the hotel’s fault.
GGuest UserWe had a great experience at the W Doha. At check-in we received an upgrade room and had the pleasure of staying in a W Suite room. The room was impressive and large with separate bedroom and living room areas. We booked this room mostly to relax and stay in and it worked perfectly for us. The staff at the hotel were warm and welcoming throughout our stay and we would recommend this if you're looking for a special stay in Doha's West Bay area. The staff checked in on us in person and over the phone during our stay to see if we needed anything for our room.
The living room was nicely appointed with a large couch, dining table, hanging chair, desk, coffee/tea station with a Nespresso machine, large TV, Bose surround sound system, a small Bose smart speaker, and a few comfy chairs throughout. There was a bathroom in the main area near the entrance. The floor to ceiling windows in the corner suite offered views of the surrounding towers.
The bedroom was awesome with a large comfy bed, plenty of storage and closet space, a large TV and an amazing bathroom. The bathroom had a large bath tub and some premium bath products including lotion and facial cleanser. The highlight here is the shower which had side jets, a large overhead shower and a wand that could all be turned on simultaneously. The melon extract products from Momo and the Nuze hand soap smell very nice.
The facilities at the hotel are nice and there is a good pool area with comfy lounge chairs and a well equipped gym. There are changing areas near the pool area but we did not see locker rooms.
The location is good with many good hotels and a big shopping mall nearby. There are lots of great restaurants, bars and cafes in this area and it is ok to walk around in the cooler months. It is a short walk to the beach from here. On site they have many good restaurants and the breakfast at Market was excellent but we would recommend trying Coya or Spice Market as well. The business lunch meals are very good here. The DECC metro station is a 15 minute walk away from here but we would recommend using Uber or Karwa to get around Doha if you want to do sightseeing.
This is the kind of hotel my wife and I would not leave during our stay. All the amenities and restaurants on site mean you don't have to go far and you can order in everything else. We would consider staying here again and would recommend it for family and friends when visiting.
YYangguangxiaozhu123This hotel is fantastic, highly recommend it!
1. There's a security check at the entrance. We asked why, and it turns out it's a government-owned hotel, so they ensure 100% security.
2. It's just a one-minute walk to the metro station, right across a small street from the hotel.
3. Parking is free. If you're driving, you just hand your keys to the attendant at the entrance, and when you leave, you exchange a card for your keys, and they'll bring your car to the front.
4. There's free coffee in the lobby. Trying a date with coffee is highly recommended; it’s a very authentic Arabian experience.
5. It's only about 300 meters from Souq Waqif, making it incredibly convenient for dining and exploring.
6. It's also very close to the airport, about 20 minutes by metro with just one transfer.
7. Security is top-notch. We tested it, and if you lock the door from the inside, even a room key won't open it from the outside. The front desk staff were very friendly. When we were taking photos before leaving, they even offered to help us take a family picture. Although it might be a bit more expensive than chain hotels like Hampton by Hilton, after comparing everything, it feels incredibly worth it!
XXinfenghaiThe hotel is very clean and tidy, with complete facilities and a great location. It's only a 20-minute drive from the airport and very close to the city center. The breakfast was delicious, they even had warm bread! I really liked the style of the pool, but it was a bit small.
GGuest UserVery nice hotel in Doha.
The location is good, services are nice.
Specially, Richard, the supervisor, was very supportive during my stay.
the Coral Restaurant is good too.staffs are working diligently and very attentive. Food is full of varieties.
One minor thing is the Singing… some guests’ birthday celebration was conducted by the staffs, the chorus was … kind of terrible… whatever you do, just don’t ask them to sing for you!
It was a perfect stay for a 8 days of vacationing!
MM353054****This hotel was a pleasant surprise! The moment I stepped into the lobby, I was enveloped by the exquisite decor and a delightful aroma, and the staff greeted me so warmly it felt like a breath of fresh air. The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was as soft as a cloud, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep until morning. The restaurant offered a rich breakfast with freshly brewed coffee filling the air. What's even more impressive is the meticulous attention to detail everywhere – the turndown service was thoughtful, and bottled water was always replenished. When checking out, the front desk smiled and offered warm water; it truly felt like a home away from home. I will definitely visit again next time to experience this impeccable and perfect service.
AAnonymous UserBranding of Ramada did not live up to our standard. The miscomm between the night and morning shift staff need lots of work!! Being told you can check-in early at 2 pm(upon arrival at the hotel at 8 am) and only to wait another 30 minutes for the room at 2.30 pm, is HIGHLY unacceptable! And other guests who were waiting at the couch got to their rooms before us. Not an experiece you would want after a red-eye flight. There are other hotels nearby who accommodate guests at least before 1 pm if they’re informed of their flight details. The security staff,on the other hand, were eveready to assist us! Rooms are just okay.. Dated and needs more work done. Would I stay here again? Sadly not.. Hope you guys improve on communication. It’s part of good service!
OohohcrI just randomly picked this hotel and it's so beautiful! It's designed in a very distinct Sudanese style, about an 8-minute walk from the metro station, and only about 10 minutes to Souq Waqif! Getting to the airport is also very convenient, requiring only one transfer and taking less than 40 minutes. The cleanliness is decent too. Just note that the check-in time is quite late, not until after 2 PM. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage and go explore.
