I strongly advise against booking this apartment.
From the moment I checked in, it was clear that the listing did not reflect reality. The apartment was in extremely poor and unsanitary condition: dirty floors, dusty surfaces, visible signs of neglect, and an overall lack of basic cleanliness. On top of that, the Wi-Fi — a critical amenity for travelers — was completely non-functional, making it impossible to work or even communicate.
Despite trying to give the benefit of the doubt, it quickly became clear that staying there was simply not an option. I reported the issues through the platform immediately and explained that it was not livable. That same evening, I handed the keys to a staff member and left. I had no choice but to walk around the city late at night searching for alternative accommodation, carrying my luggage, and trying to find a place that could accept a last-minute booking. It was a distressing and exhausting experience that seriously impacted my trip.
While I appreciate that Trip.com eventually processed a full refund and offered some compensation in Trip Coins, the entire situation should have been avoided. A property listed on a reputable platform must meet minimum hospitality standards — this one did not.
This is a clear case of misleading listing quality and failure to meet basic service expectations. Until significant improvements are made to both the property and the way it is managed, I cannot recommend it to anyone.
