A quick staycation with the hubs for a lazy, do-nothing-really anniversary. Room was good- pillows were soft, mattress was to our liking, large sofa for deep reflections and a great bath tub for winding down after long walks around the area. The desk chair though was peeling off a little and the sofa could do with a good scrub. We did not however have any housekeeping come in nor turn down service which would have been nice, as we noticed it happening for our neighbours. We did not ask for it tho, so I guess it was fine. Staff were very nice -
From the concierge, porter to the breakfast crew. Breakfast had great variety and good coffee and teh tarik. A ten minute walk from the Museum Negara MRT too which was convenient.

I’ve been to this hotel a few times for birthday and anniversary celebrations, and I used to have good experiences. However, during my recent stay, I was quite disappointed. The service was much slower than before, and I had to wait a long time for assistance. On top of that, the mattress in my room was uncomfortable and had noticeably sunk, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. To make things worse, the bedsheet had a bad smell, which made the stay even more unpleasant. I hope the management improves their service, cleanliness, and room quality, as I used to enjoy coming here.

Beautiful colonial heritage hotel opposite the Grand ole train station. Great breakfast and nice restaurant. Excellent staff services.

Comfortable n spacious room.. Bath tub also large.. Shower room space a bit confined.. Comfortable bed and pillow.. Limited TV channel.. Complimentary self made tea and coffee.. Their fridge do prepare soft drink n beer but need to pay.. Breakfast buffet has lots of options and tasty..

1) Reception service is very bad, all are foreigner labors, not matching hotel luxury.
2) Facilities poor, pool is sad.
