My friend and I enjoyed our stay in the 'Deluxe Panoramic 720° View Double Bed Room With Bath Tub' at The Streets Where The Wind Lives (风居住的街道). The hotel housekeeper Mr Yu was incredibly kind, caring and helpful during our stay at the hotel - he went out of his way multiple times to ensure that our stay was comfortable and safe. Both the hotel owner and the housekeeper were always readily contactable via WeChat and made our stay in Lijiang really pleasant. Would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay in Lijiang Ancient Town! Number of nights of stay: 3 nights Hotel location: 500 metres (approximately 10-minute walk) away from the north gate of Lijiang Ancient Town. Will need to walk about 2 to 3 flights of cobblestone steps to get to the hotel from the vehicle drop-off point; we transported our luggage from the vehicle drop-off point to the hotel on our own but you can also contact the housekeeper for assistance. About 30-minute DiDi ride from the hotel to Baisha Old Town Room: The 'Deluxe Panoramic 720° View Double Bed Room' was located on the third floor; there was no lift but the housekeeper kindly helped us to transport our luggage to our room. There were one king-sized bed, two bedside tables (with type I wall power sockets), one long table in front of the bed, one rocking chair, and floor-to-ceiling windows with a beautiful view of Lijiang Ancient Town. There was a sky roof in the room too but it was covered with tarp on the rooftop during our stay. The bed and pillows (one soft and one firmer memory foam pillow for each guest) were comfortable and the room was clean. The only downside was that the wardrobe was small with limited space to hang our clothes Bathroom: Spacious bathroom with shower area and bath tub. Toiletries (e.g. hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body soap), disposable toothbrush/toothpaste, and towels were provided. Rubber bathroom slippers and disposable bedroom slippers were provided too Hotel amenities: Additional CNY 20/pax for breakfast at the lobby (8.30am-10am; noodles with tomato-based soup and minced meat; will need to arrange this with the housekeeper the night prior), communal washing machine (free of charge, inclusive of laundry liquid detergent; there is a small overhead rack to hang and dry the clothes after washing) Luggage storage: Complimentary and safe luggage storage in the hotel (e.g. if you are planning to hike and stay at Tiger Leaping Gorge for a night) Lijiang airport/station transfer: Free transfer arranged by the hotel for stays of at least three nights. Will need to arrange this with the hotel owner 1 day prior

As Malaysian exploring Yunnan, we had a wonderful experience staying at Lijiang Park Designer Hotel. This place checked all the right boxes for us! ✅ Facilities: Modern, clean, and well-maintained. The hotel has a fresh, stylish vibe and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. 📍 Location: Just a short walk to Lijiang Ancient Town, which made exploring super convenient. We also found halal food easily nearby, which is a big plus for Muslim travelers. 🍵 Warm welcome: Upon arrival, the staff welcomed us with a traditional tea—a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home after a long journey. 🌆 Rooftop experience: The rooftop area was a hidden gem. My friend and I spent time there enjoying the sunset over the mountains and the stunning night lights of the ancient city. Such a peaceful, picture-perfect moment. 👨💼 Friendly service: The staff were genuinely helpful—they even carried our luggage to the lobby for us without us having to ask. Hotel Review: An Average Stay I recently stayed for a short trip, and my experience was a mix of positives and areas for improvement. Pros: The hotel’s location is convenient, with easy access to local attractions and public transportation. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. My room was clean upon arrival, and the basic amenities like Wi-Fi, a TV, and toiletries were provided. The bed was comfortable, and the air ventilation was working well, which made my stay relatively pleasant. Also there is a magnificent view of Lijiang ancient town if you go to 5th floor Cons: The walls were quite thin, so I could hear noise from neighboring rooms especially the toilet flush and water flowing from sink, which interrupted my sleep. Additionally, housekeeping need to improve, as my room wasn’t tidied during all of my stay. Overall, Echo Liangqi Mountain House has decent option if you’re on a budget and prioritize location over luxury. However, there’s room for improvement in terms of noise insulation, amenities, and housekeeping. Rating: 3/5

My partner and i had a recent three-day stay here and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we landed at the airport, the hotel's hospitality shone through. The host ensured our taxi pickup was punctual, making our journey from the airport to the hotel smooth and hassle-free. Upon arrival at the accommodation, we were warmly greeted by the host, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His friendliness and helpfulness extended throughout our stay, providing valuable information about the area and ensuring our needs were timely met. The welcome package, complete with fresh fruits, was a delightful touch that added to the warm reception. The view from our room, especially at night overlooking the old town, was simply breathtaking. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, with daily cleaning services and a replenishment of water and towels. Additionally, the host was readily available to answer any questions, whether through WeChat or in person, demonstrating a commitment to excellent customer service. Overall, my experience at Shanyu Nian Moon Allure City Villa Ancient Luxury Collection was superb, thanks to the attentive host, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

One of the best homestays I’ve ever stayed at! This place is really cleaned, and the views are incredible. It’s also ideally located — just a 10 mins walk to Lijiang Ancient Town, which makes it super convenient for exploring anytime. You’ll have easy access to food, and since many drivers from attractions like Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Tiger Leaping Gorge typically drop off and pick up in the Old Town, the accommodation's close proximity means these drivers would often offer to drop you directly at the homestay. The owner is incredibly friendly and approachable. He made sure to connect with me on WeChat so I could reach out if needed, and even asked if I had my attraction tickets bought, offering to check their validity - such a thoughtful touch. When I needed an early ride to one of the attractions, he helped arrange a driver for me (really reasonably priced) , anticipating that I might have trouble finding one due to the early hours. Overall, my stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend this place! If you’re thinking about booking, don’t hesitate—just go for it!

This time I came to Lijiang and stayed in this inn, which was really great! I was stunned when I just got off the bus. It took about 30 seconds to walk into the inn, and it was not difficult to pull the luggage. The boss was super enthusiastic. When he saw me, he came to help me with the luggage immediately. He asked me if I was tired all the way and reminded me of some precautions. He was very kind and like a family. When I walked into the room, the first feeling was that it was clean, the equipment was very good, the style was light luxury, and the sound insulation was quite good. It was not noisy when sleeping at night. The mattress was moderately soft and hard. I liked it! The most favorite thing is the terrace on the third floor of the inn. The view is absolutely invincible. Standing there, you can see Lion Mountain in the distance. The scenery during the day and at night is particularly spectacular. The boss also carefully helped us plan the tour route. It was very comfortable and happy to follow it.

This is definitely the best stay for our entire Yunnan Trip. New and modern design rooms, equipped with all the amenities you couldn't even thought of eg Dyson hair dryer, smart toilet bowl, small little thing like nail clipper, heat pad, ear plug, lip balm and more. Our kids especially enjoy the overhead projector TV and couldn't wait to go back to hotel early everyday to watch the movie. The front desk guy and girl are tremendously helpful, they even surprised us by sending Hey Tea to our room. That's is really the best thoughtful services that we have ever encountered thus far. Will be back!

We stayed in the spacious duplex as we wanted to try a different accommodation than a hotel, especially at the end of our holiday. This was a great place to relax. The host was very attentive, took care of us and answered questions immediately via WeChat. I love the location, because of the convenience! It’s close to everything, but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle, so you still have some peace. The only disappointment I had was other tourists. The insulation isn’t great, so around the weekend at 1-2AM, you hear their footsteps in the corridor and people talking to each other on the way back to their rooms. That wasn’t very considerate for other guests. Regardless of my last comment, I would recommend and come here again!

This hotel is so nice and have all facility as bathtub, automatic toilet etc. You can walk from this hotel to Lijiang old town approx 5 mins. Pro : Nice place, clean, nice view. Con : So many steps from ground to the room. I feel tried when I have to go the downstair.

The location is close to 古城 The furnishing is a little old but ok for the price The is 1 washing machine at Level 4 and you have to hang your clothes in open space at Level 5 The laundry machine and clothes hanging area’s sanity is a little lacking. There is lift to a few floors but not all floors. So those with luggage can let the counter staff know to arrange a floor with lift accessibility. The boss is very helpful to help arrange for tours and etc But I suggest you compare price on Meituan or Xiao Hong Shu as well, some tours that I went for, it’s cheaper on Meituan and XHS.
