I felt really sad to leave this place. The accommodation was amazing from the moment we stepped in. The front desk area already offers so much. The pets for the kids to play and roaming free is an experience. We were about to book intercontinental but I’m so glad that I did not! Our stay here was amazing, the room decor and bathroom. The beds were comfortable, shower and toilets were clean and very luxurious.
The rooftop breakfast area by the pool, is a sight to see always looking over at the Yulong mountain. I think the accommodation tried its best to give the guests the best possible experience of Lijiang from its location, as much fun as the whole family enjoyed it, we are very sad to leave. Lijiang is magical, and Paralloge enhanced it for us. It’s in a quieter area of the ancient town, but it seemed the most convenient to get to with luggage and by ourselves. Although we did not have to take the luggage, we had a butler to help take it for us and communicating with us and helping us with whatever we needed at all times.
Our friend who was at breakfast and afternoon tea who spoke really good English, very helpful and nice to have a chat with. It’s not hard to communicate with anyone. Everyone was lovely and smiling always. I could go on about every moment we loved, but it would be an essay. We will come again ♥️

The stay was located in the ancient town which was pretty convenient and has loads of options for food. You will need to contact them prior to arriving and they will help you to bring the luggages in.
The room was fantastic. It was clean and the view was superb (panoramic view of the yulong snow mountain and the old town).
The staff there were the best part for this stay. They were so friendly and gave us tips & recommendations on Lijiang. And also tourist traps to avoid (which was really important and common).
Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back if i’m in Lijiang again.

This is my first time in Lijiang. Mr. Andy contact me days before we arriving from Kuala Lumpur to arrange for pick up at train station. But due to my WeChat aps error, we go to the hotel by DiDi and he picked us from the entrance and helped us with the bags as the old city not accessible direct by car. While we were checking in he made us tea, which was really nice.
The hotel is very beautiful, just in the center of Lijiang Old Town. You can go out and stroll. The room and environment is beautiful, comfortable and clean and also all the essential are there. The whole staff of the hotel were really nice and always there for me for all the service that I need especially Mr. Andy. He taking care of us. He helped me reserving a trip to the snow mountain & Tiger Leaping Gorger. Mr. Andy led us to the meeting point in the morning. Very good of him.
Mr. Andy arrange driver to send us to the train station on our last day in Lijiang.
I highly recommended staying at this hotel and will never regret the experience. Will definitely choose here for my next visit to Lijiang

A Perfect Stay in the Heart of the Ancient City
Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of amazing. The location was absolutely perfect – situated right in the center of the area, it was a hub of activity during the day, making it easy to explore. As the sun set, the place transformed into a lively spot brimming with music and vibrant nightlife.
One of the highlights of our stay was the dining options nearby, which were abundant and diverse. Impressively, we were able to enjoy a delicious dinner as late as 11 pm, which added to the convenience and charm of the area. The hotel staff were exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a friendly and efficient check-in process. They went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, offering us a variety of tea upon arrival – a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. Their open and warm approach truly made us feel at home.
The rooms were impeccably clean, and the facilities were equally delightful. What stood out was their attention to detail – we were greeted with a welcoming fruit basket and premium beauty products in our room, which added a luxurious feel to our experience.
Given that the hotel is located on a hill, the staff's assistance with our luggage was greatly appreciated and made the arrival process smooth and stress-free.

Villa is very spacious, hotel’s environment is nice and quiet. Staffs are friendly, responsive and professional. By car, approximately 15 mins to Lijiang Ancient Town, 30 mins to Railway station, 40 mins to Yulong snow mountain. One of the room has the amazing view of Yulong Snow Mountain. Can take Didi from the side road, not necessary to take buggy to the main lobby. As the place is huge, buggy might take a while to arrive. House-keeping staffs have initiative. The toilet light was faulty and couldn’t be turned off and the drainage system in the sinks and bathroom wasn’t draining the waste water fast enough. When I returned to the villa in the evening, they were fixed even before I informed house keeping.

We came here just after it opened last year. We stayed here again this time. The proprietress is very nice and from Northeast China. She is very pretty. The room has disposable bath towels and the decoration is really great. They use a De Rucci mattress. This time we came back just for the De Rucci mattress. Her house is the most comfortable place to stay along the way. They use big brands. I sincerely recommend it to everyone. If you have high quality requirements, come here. The Qianguqing arranged by Xiaojian and Yang Hu at the front desk is also very good. I recommend it to everyone with full marks.

When I pushed open the carved wooden door, the hustle and bustle of the ancient city was suddenly filtered out by seven points. The ginger flower tea handed by the housekeeper was filled with the sweetness of the melted water from the snow-capped mountains, and the rhythm of the copper bells on the eaves was exactly the frequency of the heartbeat after slowing down.
The designer of Kuan Shang probably knows the philosophy of ”hiding”. The white walls and plain tiles hide the Naxi courtyard into the texture of the ancient city.
I love the terrace at three o'clock in the afternoon. The wind kneads the clouds into marshmallows and piles them on the shoulders of the snow-capped mountains. The aroma of hand-brewed coffee mixed with the clinking sound of the silversmith shop downstairs dances on the half-turned pages of the book. The housekeeper brought freshly baked flower cakes, and the sound of the puff pastry falling on the celadon plate was even more beautiful than the night songs in the ancient city.
After nightfall, watch the stars in the quiet courtyard, and the old wooden beams stretch their wrinkles in the warm yellow light and shadow. Suddenly I realized that the real sense of relaxation is nothing more than allowing myself to waste time - letting the moonlight of the century-old city flow over the tile cat ridge beasts, over the purple pottery tea cups, and finally into the mobile phone that I forgot to lock the screen.
Tips:
· There are only 18 rooms in the three courtyards, which is very private
· It takes only 8 minutes to walk to Sifang Street.
Such a wide place is suitable for temporarily depositing the soul at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, waiting for time to grow moss marks.

I enjoyed my stay at the this hotel . It's cozy and is in a quiet location in the ancient city of Dayan. The owner is thoughtful and provided a pick up for me at the airport and also helped to wheel my luggage on the cobbled pedestrian street in the ancient city. The room is comfortable and and hygienic. The only thing that bothered me was being woken up to people smoking outside my room in the morning. Being a non smoker and specifically requesting for room that has no smoke smell, the hotel should not let anyone smoke outside guests bedrooms. If guests want to smoke, they should be smoking in the Smoking Rooms, or smoking outside the hotel or somewhere at least 10 meters away from the Non-smoking rooms. Certainly NOT within 2 meters of the Non-smoking rooms. For smoke sensitive guests this is definitely something to watch out for . I really wanted to stay here for more nights but I didn't want to risk being rudely awoken by cigarette smoke in the morning or night.

PpostcardsandstampsWe enjoyed our stay here, so when we returned from Shangri-la to Lijiang, we made a repeat booking at this place. The cleanliness of the place and the friendliness of the staff were the main reasons for our return.
Location: This place is situated near the border of the Lijiang Ancient City. It is close to the main road (2 min walk) which makes it easy to meet your driver for airport transfer or any tour you join. It is also extremely convenient to get to the main attractions such as Mu Residence (5 min) and Zhongyi Night Market (6-8 min). You will be away from the hustle and bustle at night, and get some peace and quiet.
Room: We were lucky that we got a room on the ground floor, as we had very heavy luggage. It would be very difficult to pull them up the stairs if we were on the upper floor. Every room has a different name, and shows that the owners put some thought into giving each of their guests a unique experience. The room we got was of moderate size, with a small sofa area for you to enjoy tea and snacks. There was also a kettle and four cups, and a 5-litre water dispenser that dispensed hot and cold water - I appreciated this, which was more environmentally friendly and generous than other accommodation which gave us 2 bottles of water (500ml each) each every day. The room was also equipped with heating, for the room and the floor, and they were controlled by the front desk. There was also a humidifier. The room's interior decoration was warm and cozy.
Outdoor: We also enjoyed sitting outdoors, idling, gazing at the fish, watching the flowers bloom, while enjoying many cups of tea.
Toilet: It was of decent size, with a shower cubicle that dispensed hot water pretty quickly. They provided us with everything so there's nothing you need to bring: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, slippers for shower, towels for body and hair, one-time face towels, hair dryer, body lotion, soap, detergent.
Service: The staff was hospitable, friendly, and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed chatting with them over many cups of tea, and rose pastries. They even recommended travel routes and restaurants to us, which were very good, and we even got discounts or freebies by telling the restaurants where we were staying. It was easy to communicate with the staff on WeChat, they responded promptly, and arranged free airport transfer for us as we stayed more than three nights.
Food: Breakfast was served every morning, which included a bowl of Yunnan mixian (noodles), a steamed bun, a hard-boiled egg, corn, and some spicy preserved vegetables. Every booking came with one serving of afternoon tea, which included rose pastries and a variety of fruits. We arrived after midnight and the staff prepared some rose pastries and fruit for us, in case we would be hungry, which was very thoughtful of them!

XXNYLMy friend and I enjoyed our stay in the 'Deluxe Panoramic 720° View Double Bed Room With Bath Tub' at The Streets Where The Wind Lives (风居住的街道). The hotel housekeeper Mr Yu was incredibly kind, caring and helpful during our stay at the hotel - he went out of his way multiple times to ensure that our stay was comfortable and safe. Both the hotel owner and the housekeeper were always readily contactable via WeChat and made our stay in Lijiang really pleasant. Would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay in Lijiang Ancient Town!
Number of nights of stay: 3 nights
Hotel location: 500 metres (approximately 10-minute walk) away from the north gate of Lijiang Ancient Town. Will need to walk about 2 to 3 flights of cobblestone steps to get to the hotel from the vehicle drop-off point; we transported our luggage from the vehicle drop-off point to the hotel on our own but you can also contact the housekeeper for assistance. About 30-minute DiDi ride from the hotel to Baisha Old Town
Room: The 'Deluxe Panoramic 720° View Double Bed Room' was located on the third floor; there was no lift but the housekeeper kindly helped us to transport our luggage to our room. There were one king-sized bed, two bedside tables (with type I wall power sockets), one long table in front of the bed, one rocking chair, and floor-to-ceiling windows with a beautiful view of Lijiang Ancient Town. There was a sky roof in the room too but it was covered with tarp on the rooftop during our stay. The bed and pillows (one soft and one firmer memory foam pillow for each guest) were comfortable and the room was clean. The only downside was that the wardrobe was small with limited space to hang our clothes

CChitrlada HarnWhen my mother agreed to visit Lijiang with me, I browsed many hotels in Trip.com and sorted out this hotel out of many hotels with good reviews without knowing beforehanded that this will fulfill my satisfaction to the most. Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does.All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel.The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.

My 5-night stay at Mr. Hao’s private guesthouse was the highlight of my Lijiang trip. More than just a host, Mr. Hao became my personal guide and friend, sharing authentic local experiences that most tourists never discover.
What sets Mr. Hao apart is his incredible knowledge of Lijiang. He knows every hidden gem in the Old Town and gave me perfect recommendations. Thanks to him, I enjoyed the most amazing local dishes like 野生菌hotpot that I would have never found on my own.
The daily Pu’er tea sessions were absolute highlights. Each evening, Mr. Hao would invite me to share freshly brewed tea while telling fascinating stories about Lijiang’s history and culture. These moments of genuine connection turned a simple accommodation into a truly immersive experience.
The house itself is charming, spotlessly clean, and perfectly located – quiet enough to relax but just steps away from all the action. The comfortable bed and excellent WiFi were much appreciated after long days of exploring.

AazraI recently had the pleasure of staying 4 days at this hotel in South Gate Lijiang, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness and modernity of the establishment. The hotel is impeccably maintained, with spotless rooms that are both comfortable and stylish. Every detail, from the sleek furnishings to the well-appointed amenities, reflects a commitment to quality and guest comfort.
The location is another standout feature of this hotel. Situated near to the main road of south gate, it provides easy access to taxi and lots of excellent restaurants. Whether you're looking to explore the rich culinary scene or simply want to enjoy a leisurely stroll through the area, everything is conveniently close by. This made my stay even more enjoyable.
One of the things to be appreciated was the hospitality of the owner. Despite the language barrier, she went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant experience. She even upgraded our room to family suites which makes us even more happier especially the kids. Her kindness and dedication to her guests truly set this hotel apart. She was always willing to help and made every effort to assist me, even though she doesn’t speak English. Her warm and welcoming attitude made me feel at home, and I greatly appreciated her efforts to communicate and provide assistance.
Overall, my stay at this hotel was wonderful. The combination of a clean, modern environment, an excellent location, and exceptional hospitality made for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. You won't be disappointed!

Initially, we had trouble finding the hotel because the Google Maps and Gaode pins were inaccurate, so we got lost. However, the owner was extremely helpful—they arranged luggage pickup and guided us to the correct location. Tip: It's best to get the hotel’s WeChat contact before arrival for smoother communication!
Owner’s Assistance:
The owner was incredibly helpful from start to finish. Every question we had was answered patiently, and they even helped arrange early morning transportation to send our luggage to the Didi pickup point when we checked out. Service was truly above expectations!
Ambience & Facilities:
Located inside the Ancient City, it’s a bit of a walk, but the surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful. The hotel itself is spacious, comfortable, and family-friendly. The room was clean with an authentic traditional Lijiang charm.
Final Thoughts:
We were very satisfied with our stay here! Although the location is a bit hidden, the owner’s warm hospitality and thoughtful services made it worth it. Highly recommended for those looking for a cozy homestay near Lijiang Old Town!

GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful hotel in Lijiang, and the experience was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the incredibly friendly staff made me feel welcome. They were attentive to all my needs and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect.
The room was stunning—clean, bright, and well-maintained. The water pressure in the shower was just right, making for a refreshing experience. During check-in, I was offered tea and given a lot of interesting information about the area. The staff also provided excellent recommendations on where to eat and what to do, which added greatly to my enjoyment of the trip.
If I ever return to Lijiang, I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The room was spacious and bright, with all the necessary facilities, clean and comfortable bedding, and very close to Heilongtan. The most surprising thing was that the boss invited the guests to barbecue together at night. It was so pleasant to drink and eat meat under the stars!

CChristina YeoLocation was good, within the ancient city. And the room is clean. However:
1. The hotel owner brings in their dog every night, but ties it to a corner. The dog was whining every now and then, obviously uncomfortable and the owner only shouts ‘keep quiet’ without checking out the dog :(. The leash was also tied so short that makes the dog not even possible to even lay down. Personally, I don’t feel this is humane.
2. Our room tv couldn’t connect to the controller. We had to get the staff to come fix it every night. By the final night, we just simply couldn’t be bothered with it :(
3. *MAIN TURNOFF* We need to check out by 8.30am, and informed the staff the night before (need the staff to help us bring the luggage out to the main road. The hotel is located within the ancient city and no cars are allowed in + its stone cobbler flooring in the ancient city) and was told by him that no one is working that early. Then we happened to met the boss and informed him, he then told us he will make arrangements for us. However we woke up and found no staffs at all, and waited till 9am until someone shows up! It was lucky that we were not rushing for train or flight, else we would had missed it! They did not even offered an apology:(
4. Toilet bowl also broke down on the last night of our stay but we couldn’t get any help because there are no staffs at late night.
5. Lastly, on the booking it indicated free jade dragon entrance tickets, but when we arrived we were told this is only available if we book their tour package to jade dragon. Obviously not transparent.
Should we return to Lijiang again, we will NEVER book this hotel again.
