Location: ★★★★★ Service: ★★ View from window: ★ Cleanliness: ★★★★ Overall, the hotel's location is fantastic, couldn't ask for better. It's incredibly close to the central train station, the river, and the city center. The only downside is the service, which is just average. They only make the bed and don't clean anything else. Plus, no complimentary water is provided in the room. The room itself is relatively new, and the environment is decent with no strange odors. On the other hand, there's basically no view from the window, and you can see into other rooms, which means zero privacy. So, you have to keep the blackout blinds drawn even during the day. This hotel is best suited for those who come back late to sleep and head out early in the morning.

Melbourne's charm is hidden in its labyrinthine laneways – graffiti-splashed walls, tucked-away cafes, and the nostalgic echo of retro arcades. And the Hotel Indigo Melbourne on Little Collins is truly the gateway to all of it. The hotel is ideally located on the bustling Little Collins Street, nestled between Bourke Street Mall and Collins Street, with a tram stop right downstairs. Whether you're exploring the artistic vibe of Federation Square or wandering through the Victorian elegance of the Block Arcade, everything is within easy reach. The Mondrian blue color scheme is striking, but the most delightful details are found in the playful monkey lamps that climb the walls and stand by the bed. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, and the pillows are excellent. Crucially, the room is very well soundproofed; despite being in a busy area, there wasn't a single noise, ensuring a great night's sleep. My favorite feature, however, was the shower room – the toiletries are organic, making me look forward to showering every day. It was a fantastic stay. Getting around is super convenient, with free trams directly connecting to major city attractions.
