"1. The location is incredibly convenient. Turn left and walk straight out of the hotel, and you'll spot a McDonald's sign. Directly opposite is Queen Victoria Market, offering a vibrant array of coffee, bread, pastries, fried chicken, fruits, vegetables, and meat. The market is very clean and colorful, making for a delightful experience. 2. The hotel entrance is a designated meeting point for Ctrip's day tours, making it super easy to join excursions like the Great Ocean Road tour. 3. The pillows in the room are quite uncomfortable. If you need daily cleaning, you have to request it at the front desk. Cleaning primarily involves emptying trash bins and changing bath towels, with no other services provided. The window is sealed, and indoor ventilation relies solely on the air conditioning. The mattress isn't fixed and can shift slightly."

"Overall a good location as there are 2 tram stops just a quick 3 to 5 mins walk away from the apartment. There is a minimart and 7-11 just downstairs, convenient for picking up necessities. The apartment was quite big and had very useful amenities like a washer, dryer and fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher and big fridge. Unfortunately, the air-conditioner wasn't the best for me as it was a standing type located near the window in the living room. Despite adjusting to the lowest temperature and highest fan speed, the bedroom was still quite warm. Body wash, shampoo, hair conditioner and towels were provided but not toothbrush, comb or bottled water. There was a kettle provided but I would prefer having bottled water provided daily. I was also surprised that housekeeping was not provided for my 5-nights stay. Fresh towels can be requested by hanging a sign on the door before 8 am. Generally a good stay but do note that the reception counter is not open 24 hours, so if you arrive outside these timings, separate arrangements should probably be pre-arranged."

"A budget hotel by Melbourne standards. Good location in the city center, within walking distance of all the main attractions. It's a 20-25 minute walk to the train station. That's where the positives end (the hotel is tired, and the room has a strange musty smell). The public areas are downright dirty, and cleaning is very poor. They don't clean the room at all, and they don't even take out the trash. But apparently, this is par for the course in Australia, judging by the filth on the streets)."
