"The room was great. Big enough for us with huge luggages. We were quite happy as there are washing machine and dryer in our room but unfortunately the washing machine was out of order. Thankfully, there is a laundromat just below the hotel and it is quite convenient. Parking wise was also convenient as guests could part at the basement carpark with first come first served basis."

"Stayed here for two days in a row. The location is very good. I chose it because the introduction said there is free parking. Currently, this youth hostel has 3-4 parking spaces in front of the door, first come first served. Otherwise, you need to go to Hamilton Road to find one (which is often full). You need to bring your own shower gel and shampoo, which is not very convenient. Other than that, I can give it a very high score. The youth hostel has cooperation discount codes with some attractions, you can ask the front desk to get them. If you are traveling alone, I still recommend them."

"The location is great — it's right in town, with everything within walking distance. All the tour pick-up points are just across the street, which is super convenient.
The only downside is the room layout: you have to walk through the bathroom area before reaching the sleeping area, which feels a bit oddly designed."

"This is my second time booking this place. Definitely my first choice when coming to Queenstown. It’s close to Queenstown airport in Frankly, 20min drive from the busy and crowded Queenstown.
Restaurants and supermarkets are in walking distance (1-1.5km, though you wouldn’t want to walk in freezing weather).
The rooms overlooking the mountains have superb view.
Hotel parking lots are limited."

This hotel has a lot of young people living, and some people will take the initiative to drink alcohol."

Amazing
MMoodyMerryStayed at Quest Queenstown with my best friend and we absolutely loved it! The apartment was clean, modern, and had everything we needed—comfy beds, a small kitchen, and even laundry facilities. It was a cozy and relaxing space to come back to after a day of adventures.
One of the best parts was how convenient the location was. The Orbus stop was just a short walk away, making it super easy and affordable to get to Queenstown CBD and the airport without needing a car. Perfect for travellers!
The staff were friendly and check-in was quick and easy. We also had a stunning view of the mountains right from our room.
Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful yet well-connected stay in Queenstown. Would definitely come back!
CCharm-Pros: the hotel room was really clean and spacious
Location was good, really near the main shops area
Cons: the hotel informed there was no parking available as their carpark was full and it was first come first serve. So guests are expected to circle the hotel vicinity for a lot when they arrive? Especially when it’s stated that parking is available onsite.
Front desk staff was really rude with an attitude. She suggested street parking but I told her I wasn’t comfortable with parallel parking and she just got really rude with a take it or leave it attitude. We booked two rooms but she only gave one room’s card and I had to remind her for the other room’s card.
Anyways. The hotel is a maze where we had to take lift to a different level, walk to a different building and take another lift to get to the room. Abit creepy for solo travellers.
Overall; the rooms are well maintained but beware of the lack of parking + rude staff
QQianchenshiThe room was not chosen well, and there was no view. The parking lot was not big, and it was difficult to park. The facilities were a bit old, and the restaurant was also a bit shabby. It was very close to the city, and it was very convenient to go to the small square in the town center, and it was convenient to eat and go shopping. But walking requires climbing, which requires physical strength
GGuest UserIt was beyond my expectation. It was so beautiful. It faced the huge lake in Queenstown. The facilities were very good, including dishwasher, washing machine, bathroom, bedding, and the view. Most importantly, the price was much better than those hotels with direct beach access.
Ssuki_zhuangThe hotel's breakfast times are very strict. Five families stayed here, and one of them arrived for breakfast at 10 AM only to be denied entry. This meant we missed out on the pre-paid breakfast, which was a significant loss. I would not recommend the breakfast at this hotel; it's much better to head to the city center for some bread and milk, as the hotel's breakfast is truly mediocre. It was, in fact, the worst breakfast I've had during my 15 days in New Zealand.
The hotel itself is pleasant, and its location isn't too far from the city center, which would be acceptable if you're not traveling with kids. However, for us, with children, it was genuinely tiring because parking in the city center is neither convenient nor cheap.
While the hotel's overall environment and cleanliness were good, one minor inconvenience was the old-fashioned, fixed showerhead that couldn't be detached. All in all, this hotel is not very convenient for families with young children.
MMagnoliaWVery Very beautiful view from the room and the hotel restaurant(see below pics)!!! Close to the Queenstown city. The room is very tidy and big with some mix up tools for cocktails.
It’s my first time travel alone. I was stressed, nervous and had a few questions to most of things.
The service is soooooo good. Specially I would like to appreciate Kim and the reception staffs for helping me during my stay. Thanks for giving me a wonderful journey with QT Queenstown🥰
I will definitely come back again to QT Queenstown with my parents and friends shortly♥️♥️♥️
FFirew DemelashI had 3 night Copthorne Hotel and Resort
Queenstown Lakefront the room is clean and basic the bed comfortable l had a good sleep the room to big even had a good seating area coffee tea in the room TV had variety of choices however the bathroom that not that great they need to get rid of that bath basin I am not sure what is purpose? The shower curtain so cheap common if you charge your guests a top dollars you can afford a decent shower curtain it New Zealand not a 3rd world country. All the Wi-fi so terrible even basic email take time to download also what is deposit for if you don't have any minibar in the room? I think all those can improve a good management I had pizz one night taste good anyway this Queenstown accommodation always in short that way they don't care still a good place to crush a big hot two.
GGUANGSONGGood location, ten minutes walk to the city center, double bed for two people can be a bit small with children, parking lot, no breakfast, but electric stove, microwave, all utensils, four minutes walk from the bus station
GGuest UserA great experience for a female solo traveler. I
Pros
I shared a female dorm with three other women and had a great time getting to know those coming in and out. The shared bathroom was always clean (cleaned every day).
The communal kitchen is large and well-organised. You can make use of condiments that get left behind. As it was still cold, there are always fires burning both in reception and the common room. It makes the atmosphere very cosy.
The best service I got was from their information desk, which is located in the reception area. As I didn't have a credit card and businesses like Snowbiz in town don't accept cash, I was able to pay for ski passes and rental by making a booking at the service desk (they have a card machine and also accept cash).
Cons
This side of the hostel where my room was located, just experiences a lot of noise, as there are bars down below, despite the sliding door being sound-proof. Not all the reading lamps for each bed work and also need to be fixed. The shower leaked a lot of water, as the glass door doesn't properly close.
Overall though, a great stay and value for money. You do save on accommodation, as QT is an expensive town to visit.
