Munich Schwanthalerhohe Hotels

I stayed for a day during my layover in Munich. The transportation was quite convenient; both S1 and S8 lines from the airport go there, and it's only two stops to Marienplatz. You can spot the hotel right after getting off the train, just across a bridge, and there's a small lane that leads directly to it—very close. The hotel room was spacious, and breakfast was just okay. The most unique part was probably making your own waffles, but you had to queue if it was busy.

Small hotel but equipped with TV, small refrigerator, and security box. Use key to lock the room. The room has no kettles, air con and ventilator in the bathroom thus need to take quick shower. Shower area is a bit small and the toilet level is a bit low. Construction work opposite to the hotel starts at 7am and most probably wake you up. However the staff is nice.

Location: It is within the scope of the train station, but it is still far away from the central train station München Hauptbahnhof. However, there is another station Hackerbrücke that is closer. If you come from the airport, it is also very simple. Pass the main station and take one more stop. After getting off the bus, walk for about 10-15 minutes. If you want to take Flixbus to Neuschwanstein Castle, the central bus station is also very close, and it only takes 10-15 minutes to walk there. Hotel environment: The room space is very large, and the current room facilities are relatively good. Because it has not been open for a long time, I live on the first floor and there is a large terrace. The gym is not big, but it is enough. Service: Courteous, friendly, and well-behaved, but there is a reminder to clean the room every 4 days after check-in. If you have special requirements, you can contact the front desk. Breakfast: very ordinary, just white rice! ! ! But the hotel is very good and provides 24-hour free drinks in the dining area. Disadvantages: It should be that the shower head in the shower room is not good and the water output is insufficient (maybe the hotel is trying to save water and the shower is not smooth!), but the water pressure is actually enough.

Staffs were very nice and kind. Their breakfast was nice. They try to clean our bedroom every day. But no washer … they have luggage storage.

The hotel is still under construction, so the sidewalk is a bit affected. Location is 2 km from Maria Square and 20 minutes walk. It is suitable for a walk back to the hotel. The room facilities are quite complete and the big bed is comfortable. Next to it is Saturn Electric City. Parking is underground, 24 Euros is capped for one day, and the elevator goes directly to the lobby. You can also stop the road, 9 to 23 o'clock, 1 euro for an hour, 6 euros for a day, next to the meter to pay, is the location is more difficult to find, there are still.

New hotel, very clean and very close to the thesis pad! In the 4th room is also enough room and even a kitchen. Very recommended for October or Spring Festival!

What a sweet hotel! Good location, you are fast (less than 10 minutes) with the S-track or the tram at the main station and in the city centre. The room was small but fine. What the highlight of this hotel was however the staff. Everything feels totally familiar and you are treated completely friendly, premature and uncomplicated.

If you are planning to attend Oktoberfest, this hotel is perfectly located just opposite the grounds. Also, a shopping mall is just as close by for some shopping and restaurants. It’s just quite a distance to walk from Munich Central Station, about 15-20 mins. Room is clean and amenities are adequate. Best to bring personal items though. Service staff are helpful and informative.
