"A value for money stay. There is covered car park provided for visitors at a reasonable charge per 24 hours. It is close to CBD with restaurants around. If you stay during Sunday, the Farm Gate Market is just within a few minutes walk. A special zone is closed for the booths set up. You can find delicious hot coffee, pancakes, sushi, bread and many others in the Market for breakfast.
The hotel has daily housekeeping service. Rooms are spacious but the bathroom is a bit small. In general, the stay is great and the receptionist is friendly,"

"We stayed twice at the Ibis and we enjoyed it a lot! It is well located in Macquarrie street, just minutes from Cafes and shops. The waterfront is only 1 k away also where you will find lots of great cafes and restaurants! The rooms are clean with modern amenities. Very comfy beds! The lap pool is located on the third floor with views of the city and bay! Pretty amazing views if you are lucky enough to score a room overlooking the city/bay! The staff are generally friendly and attentive. I would recommend if you're looking for a well priced, clean and modern hotel room! "

"It seems to be the former Travelodge hotel. It's built right by the road, with a huge floor-to-ceiling window in the room looking out onto it. The room itself is quite spacious, but the soundproofing isn't great. There aren't many shops nearby, just one Subway according to the map, and the hotel does have a restaurant. I guess many people stay here just for one night to catch a flight, as it's the only hotel close to the airport. They offer a paid shuttle service, $10 for one person and $15 for two, with the earliest shuttle at 7 AM. Our flight was too early, so we couldn't use it. Be warned! Even though it's close to the airport and a taxi should only be around $12, drivers might try to overcharge. Our taxi driver demanded $30. Since we had some extra time, we refused and decided to walk to the airport ourselves. It was almost 2 kilometers, and walking alone in the middle of the night with no one around was actually a bit spooky."

"Very good stay in general. Around 10 minutes walk from all the day trip pick up locations (e.g. Brooke Street Pier). The facilities were amazing and the front desk staff members were all very supportive and helpful. Loved the welcome cookies!!
The room was big and we received daily clean ups. We visited the pool and also utilised the gym during our stay as well - very good facilities.
The bathroom wall was a bit think as we could vaguely hear people next door, but the room was completely fine - could not hear a thing.
Would recommend to all types of travellers and will definitely stay again if we are visiting Hobart again!"

"Not bad hotel. But there were no tea bags, no milk. Cutlery looks extremely poor. All was from different set, some from hiking set. Also a lot of dust on the bathroom lights. To fix these problems will cost almost nothing, but it will improve the impression. And the final problem is parking. If you return late, there will be no parking place for you."

"The motel itself is actually not bad. Based on the reviews, I was expecting it to be worse. But the rooms are fresh and clean.
It lacks air conditioning though. It was cold at night and hot during the day.
Also, a suggestion for the owners – it would be great to have at least a microwave downstairs. Sometimes you just want to heat something up for a quick bite, but...
And there can be issues with parking spots. There aren't many spaces available. It's first-come, first-served."

"As a solo traveler on my first trip to Tasmania, I stayed two nights at this historic century-old hotel and was very satisfied overall! Explorers returning from Antarctic expeditions even stayed here back in the day!
Facilities: It's an old building with a lot of history, but the interior facilities are very standard and comfortable for a good rest. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the mini-bar had complimentary tea bags and biscuits, as well as alcoholic beverages and snacks for purchase.
Cleanliness: Extremely clean. The bathroom provided bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths, along with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion.
Service: The front desk staff were very welcoming. When checking out, they asked about my stay and chatted about where I was heading next. The service staff all seemed quite easygoing.
The only thing to note is that the power outlets in the room are all near the carpet, with no outlets by the table. So, when charging my phone, I had to place it on the carpet. The outlets are the same as in China, so no adapter is needed.
Hobart is also a small city, and it's not far from the hotel to the Hobart Transit Centre or the Skybus station for the airport shuttle."

CharsiubaoooThe location is on the edge of the city center and it's extremely clean. The balcony offers views of the Tasman Bridge, and it was a pleasant surprise to find daily housekeeping services. We arrived late at night and appreciated the self check-in option. The only downsides were having just one bathroom, located on the second floor, which made going up and down a bit inconvenient. The kitchen facilities were limited to a microwave and an induction hob, with no oven or dishwasher. Also, finding parking after watching the sunset in the evening was a bit of a struggle. However, overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Stayed at the RACV Hotel Hobart for 4 days
The hotel is in central Hobart CBD,it is walking distance to almost everything including waterfront Salamanca,Battery Point etc.
There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby all within a short walk.
The rooms are clean and modern,the hotel has a casual bar and restaurant plus a more formal restaurant.
Happy hour between 16:30 and 18:30 is a great time to have a drink in the lovely lounge area in comfortable sofas and armchairs near the large feature gas fireplace.
The staff are all friendly and efficient.
I couldn’t fault this hotel on anything,we stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was modern and very spacious.
Parking is onsite at $25 dollars per day which is pretty standard for the area,

The whole house is split into two levels: the bedroom upstairs, and the bathroom, kitchen, and living room downstairs. The bedding was clean, and the kitchen facilities met basic needs. The bathroom was spacious. The only drawback: both the living room and bedroom had dark navy carpets, which made them feel a bit unclean. Maybe it's just me, as a Chinese person, but I'd prefer tile or wooden flooring.

The owner was very concise and straight to the point, highlighting all the key information. The hotel is located near the market and has its own backyard that can fit about ten cars. Coles and McDonald's are a twenty-minute walk away, and there's a Chinese restaurant right across the street. It's also very close to the port.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Hobart city center. Downstairs, there are numerous shops like Myer, Arc'teryx, The North Face, and the Machimachi bubble tea shop, making shopping very convenient. The staff were friendly, and check-in was smooth. The room size was moderate, and the view was great, but the windows were quite dirty, which affected the viewing experience—something that needs attention. The breakfast was very plentiful, with a wide variety of choices and well-balanced nutrition. Housekeeping was done daily, and the cleanliness was good. You need to use your card to access the elevators, so security is not an issue. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low and could use improvement.

MattyFThe bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was very large too. It was all clean. Most guest rooms are in annexes, with reception and dining in the old building (old for Oz, anyway) which boasts a bit of style. Breakfast was quite good but items such as bacon and scrambled eggs did not stay very hot about the buffet. I liked the sourdough. Reception was prompt and professional. Now the minor dislikes: it’s a good 30 minute walk from the CBD / waterfront, up a bit of hill all the way. (There is an area with plenty of bars etc about half way). I walked several times a day and it was OK. Most guests will have cars though. The living area in the room needed a TV. If there can only be one TV per room, it would be better there than in front of the bed in my opinion. Finally, one of the two wardrobes is locked up, presumably to store linen etc. The other only has hanging space so there was no shelving. I felt a little cheated that half of “my” potential wardrobe space was denied to me! On balance, I would consider staying again, even though it is a little way out of town. Overall it is large, clean, comfortable and manages a little style.

Located by the river, the room has complete and comfortable bedding, the kitchen has complete tableware, the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, and there is a washing machine. The cutest thing is that wild ducks come to the door to say hello in the morning, so cute

Yao LungThe room photos on Trip.com were taken when the room was brand new. It clearly is no longer the case now - some staining on the curtains and soft furniture and marks on walls. Overall, for the price, it's still acceptable.
Check-in is done at the bar like most similar types of accommodation above a pub.
Bedding is exceptionally comfortable - special mention of the supremely comfortable mattress and pillows. 5-star bed.
Water pressure in the shower is weak - 60% of what I would have liked.
Bottled water and milk in the fridge is a nice touch. Crockery and cutlery provided in the kitchen.
You will have to lug your luggage up 1 flight of stairs as there's no lift.
