"While it’s located a bit far away from the CBD (~15 mins walk, with slope), the amenities were sufficient, just like a small apartment. Quiet environment, good for resting and sleep. Easy access to a supermarket nearby. The bed was a bit too soft for me. Housekeeping every day. However, there were lots of ants around the bathtub and a spider hanging on the ceiling of the bathroom in an early morning! I informed the reception staff to remark and clean my bathroom asap when they are open (the front desk not open for 24 hours but receptionist reachable by room intercom call). They have dealt with the issue for me and responded quickly. The staff there were helpful and friendly. They helped me to book a local taxi to the airport at early morning (cheaper than uber)."

"PROS: Rooms were well-appointed (my family stayed in 2 adjoining rooms)toilet and bath was clean, although a bidet could be a welcome improvement and added toiletries like toothbrush and too to paste.
Location was great (Skybus fr the airport stops right at the hotel; near bus stops); staff was nice fr reception to housekeeping. Lobby has a decent lounge area.

"Booked an executive suite, and it was the best value for money in terms of size in the area. I arrived with some doubts, but it far exceeded my expectations. The living room was so big you could play ball in it! The decor is very retro, and it's quite an old building. The bathroom is huge, and it even has dual shower heads, which was interesting 🤔"

"The room was great, with comfortable bedding and a fantastic view of Mount Wellington from the balcony. The front desk service was also good; I was able to borrow an adapter and get some helpful local tips. The hotel has underground parking, but it costs $17.50 per day. Although street parking is free on Saturdays and Sundays, it's hard to find a spot, so we opted for the hotel's paid parking instead. We stayed for three nights and were quite satisfied."

"I booked 5 nights from Dec 25th to Dec 30th.
Only stayed on the nights of Dec 25th and 26th, and until 7 PM on Dec 27th.
On the night of Dec 25th, there were towels, the bathrooms were clean, and the common sink had some food residue, but the environment was quiet.
On the night of Dec 26th, there were no towels, the bathrooms were clean, the common sink had a used scouring pad and rag that hadn't been put back, and the environment was noisy. Doors were slammed all night long, and lockers were opened and closed with loud bangs. There were also a man and a woman constantly talking and **doing things** inside the capsule.
On the morning of Dec 27th, I was woken up at 6 AM by the sound of doors slamming and lockers opening. When I returned at 5 PM that day, there were no towels, and the toilet paper in both bathrooms was used up and not refilled. I was continuously disturbed by the slamming doors and locker noises, so I had to find another hotel and move away from this noisy and inconsiderate crowd.
Also, the lock on the locker was broken and couldn't be closed."

"The hotel location is very convenient, with lots of shops, restaurants, and even a supermarket nearby. Our room had a beautiful view, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The package we booked included breakfast, and it was good. They gave us a menu to choose from, and the food was freshly made to order – hot and delicious. I especially loved their sourdough. The staff were polite, friendly, and made us feel really comfortable. Overall, this hotel met our expectations and gave us a wonderful stay."

"Hotel is located in a good spot with almost everything you need and want to visit a stone’s throw away from the hotel - walking distance, definitely. Room is comfortable, clean and modern. Great breakfast too!
Parking isn’t an option at the hotel, and hotel guests will need to deposit your car at the hotel entrance and then have valet option done. Hefty price at AUD$40 though - I guess safe and secure parking at a price!"

"Nice spot about a 5 minute drive or cab from the main part of Hobart. Check in desk is seemingly not manned very often but the check in and check out process was very smooth, well check out was just dropping a key into the box! There's a telephone number to contact in the event of serious issues but if it isn't deemed serious by the owner then you may get charged so be careful. If youre looking for a spot close to a few tourist spots then this is great, and only about 20 minutes by a cab from the airport too (Uber works fine)"

"The motel itself is actually not bad. Based on the reviews, I was expecting it to be worse. But the rooms are fresh and clean.
It lacks air conditioning though. It was cold at night and hot during the day.
Also, a suggestion for the owners – it would be great to have at least a microwave downstairs. Sometimes you just want to heat something up for a quick bite, but...
And there can be issues with parking spots. There aren't many spaces available. It's first-come, first-served."

The hotel is in central Hobart CBD,it is walking distance to almost everything including waterfront Salamanca,Battery Point etc.
There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby all within a short walk.
The rooms are clean and modern,the hotel has a casual bar and restaurant plus a more formal restaurant.
Happy hour between 16:30 and 18:30 is a great time to have a drink in the lovely lounge area in comfortable sofas and armchairs near the large feature gas fireplace.
The staff are all friendly and efficient.
I couldn’t fault this hotel on anything,we stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was modern and very spacious.
Parking is onsite at $25 dollars per day which is pretty standard for the area,

This particular night, I booked a room directly accessible by elevator in the main building. My only minor disappointment was the low floor, just the 4th floor, but everything else was excellent.

JjoanlianI booked a twin room and stayed here twice. The first time, I was on the ground floor in a standard twin room. The facilities were complete, and while the room was small, it was very clean. There was no view from the window, just the ground floor platform. The second time, I was assigned a room on the 4th floor, with a view of the sky from the window. However, it was laid out for disabled access, and the bathroom flooded after a shower. Also, one of the 'twin beds' was actually a makeshift mattress, so one of the two adults didn't sleep well. When I asked to change rooms, I was told the hotel was fully booked and no changes could be made, which I was quite unhappy about. On the positive side, the hotel has a scenic pool and sauna on the 5th floor, which is great!

GGuest UserNot bad hotel. But there were no tea bags, no milk. Cutlery looks extremely poor. All was from different set, some from hiking set. Also a lot of dust on the bathroom lights. To fix these problems will cost almost nothing, but it will improve the impression. And the final problem is parking. If you return late, there will be no parking place for you.

GGuest UserOverall, a pretty terrible experience – definitely avoid this place:
1. I arrived at the hotel around 10 AM and was told I absolutely couldn't check in until 3 PM, with zero flexibility.
2. The hotel itself is quite low-end, and the management is very haphazard and chaotic. During the day, there were a bunch of workers doing what looked like painting or renovations, and the entire hallway reeked of banana oil.
3. After being out all day, I finally checked in around 11 or 12 PM. I had booked an executive room, but they immediately told me there was only one left, clearly trying to pull a fast one. Since I had my child with me and just wanted to rest, I didn't argue then. Later, I tried to claim a refund for the price difference through Ctrip, which was a very reasonable request. However, after Ctrip contacted the hotel, they actually lied and claimed they had offered me breakfast, which was a blatant falsehood.
4. The hotel's cleanliness was mediocre, and the facilities were quite subpar. When I checked in that night, there was a crowd of dirty-looking Sri Lankans lining up to check in.
5. The safe in the room lacked basic instruction labels. I tried to use it a couple of times and ended up locking my belongings inside. Around midnight, a staff member came to open it with a master code, then told me he was leaving and that I'd have to ask another staff member the next day for proper usage instructions.
I took a few photos – seriously, steer clear of this place!
