Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages, body treatments, and facials. When the sun is out, a round of golf or a day at the private beach are two great options for taking advantage of the fine weather. This resort also features complimentary wireless internet access, concierge services, and babysitting (surcharge). Grab a bite at The Long Pool Cabana, one of the resort's 6 restaurants, or stay in and take advantage of the 24-hour room service. Snacks are also available at the 2 coffee shops/cafes. "This is my second visit to Muscat and I was impressed by the pool, which is over 100m long. The pool is truly gorgeous! Since August is the low season, there are not many guests at the hotel and you can swim in the pool alone, as if it were your own private pool! In fact, there are 3 pools. So you can choose the one that suits your taste. Perhaps, swimming in the Gulf of Oman did not impress me much. Let's just say that there are better seas. But, on the other hand, there is always such a small percentage of vacationers who want to swim in the sea that most people just need to go in, jump in the waves and get out. In terms of enjoying the beach, the experience here is 100% positive. The service on the beach is excellent! They constantly bring ice water with lemon and mint, offer refreshing napkins, and treat you to fruits. The hotel is designed in a traditional Arabic style and fully meets the idea of a luxurious holiday. The dark palette in the interiors emphasizes the architecture and gives a sense of sophistication. For guests who book villas, the Amouage bath line is offered. In simpler rooms - Аsqua di Parma, which is also not bad! As for the food, in my opinion, it is ordinary, without frills. I received undoubted aesthetic pleasure from staying in this beautiful place, but the hotel did not make any gastronomic impressions on me. At the same time, there are no complaints about the service. Everyone I dealt with - reception staff, beach staff, waiters are exceptionally friendly and responsive!"

"The hotel is located 30-40 minutes by car from the airport. Opened in 2022. Has its own bay. Mountains around. The city is only by taxi or car. The rooms are spacious, with all the amenities. They clean well. Breakfasts and dinners are good with a variety of oriental snacks. Coffee for breakfast is only from a push-button coffee machine, but I would like from a barista (after all, the hotel positions itself as premium). They give a bag of free water to the beach or pool (but I had to ask the staff) during the day they carry snacks along the beach. When we booked, we indicated that it was a birthday. There was no compliment. Many hotels at least sign a postcard with wishes."

"Excellent service and a truly premium experience at JW Marriott Muscat. The staff was attentive at Kitchen 7 (big shout out to Yuni, Naveen, Saad, Ashiqul, Pankaj and other staff) throughout the stay, constantly checking in to ensure everything was perfect. Breakfast spread was fantastic. Rooms were spotlessly clean and well maintained. The only downside is the location. While it's close to the airport, it's far from most city attractions. Also, regular taxis aren’t available; only luxury cars serve the hotel, which can cost 3x the usual fare. Still, a great stay overall."

"The ambiance was pleasant, and the service was good. While there's a swimming pool, I didn't get a chance to use it. The location is excellent, right by the pier area, making it very convenient for guests arriving by car. We specifically chose this hotel for our planned early morning dolphin-watching boat trip from the pier the next day. It offered great value for money, and the breakfast was excellent!"

"I only stayed for one night but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the service was great, the food was delicious.. I like the fact the we could walk to the opera house as it was really close to the hotel. The level of security was high. One thing I did not like was that when I was having breakfast both times the smell of food was really strong that it stuck to my clothes through the whole day, there should be ventilation for the cooking."

GGuest UserTruly amazing hospitality from all staff at Citadines Al Ghubrah Muscat. Addressed all my questions, and the room was very clean. The room was cleaned on a daily basis, and Ramadan decorations were a nice touch, too. Nice spacious rooms. Only 12 mins walk from the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. ААрташесAloft Muscat is a great choice for a business trip — modern, fresh, and spotless. The rooms are compact but well-designed, everything you need for a comfortable night’s stay. The atmosphere is clean and minimalistic, with a contemporary touch typical of the Aloft brand. Staff are efficient, check-in is smooth, and it’s conveniently located for getting around Muscat. Perfect if you’re in town for work and want something simple, stylish, and reliable.

GGuest UserNice hotel, very friendly personal, tasty breakfast and nice rooftop terasses The location is also good, there are some shops, cafes and 2 shopping malls within the walking distance, however, this is not a touristic area. If you are without a car, it is better to book a hotel closer to the old town with the beautiful views and tourist attractions. Here you will depend on taxi.

PProf. ALDUAIS, AhmedThat was a perfect place to stay. Thanks for the very kind staff including Ridha and Nasser. I extended my stay here two more weeks and Mr Nasser offered me a great package price. Everything here was nice and the breakfast buffet was amazing. A big mall could be reached through the underground hotel. I am lucky to have selected this hotel for my first visit to the wonderful Oman 🇴🇲. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

GGuest UserNew well designed and run hotel. I was impressed with restaurant staff in particular as they went out of their way to fulfill every customer need. Mr. AAmir, the supervisor, stood out among all restaurant chefs and servers. One little drawback is the narrow ramps leading to basement parking which was tricky to maneuver. Everything else was top notch.   [photo: Rozanah Restaurant & Culinary Academy-Muscat]

GGuest UserThis hotel is strategically located close to the Avenues Mall. Attached to this mall (and closest entrance to the hotel) is Lulu Hypermarket -an amazing supermarket with local and international brands, and a fantastic bakery. This mall is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. However, you do have walk along the road as the sidewalk / footpath does not exist. But this is only for 300 metres. In fact you can get off the street, but it is gravel/ construction site, so you shoes will be messy. Uber and Grab do not exist in Oman. However, the hotel has two or three taxi drivers that will you take you anywhere. They use set rates, rather than a meter. For example Hotel to Airport run is 8 is Omani Rial (US $20). While this hotel is great for shopping, it is not the best for major attractions of Muscat. The main historical sites of Alam Palace, Ai Mirania Fort and National Museum is 21 kms from the hotel. About 10 Omani Rial is each way by taxi. However, there are very few hotels in this area, so most people stay in hotels near Malls in Oman. This is some form of Public Transport in Muscat, but it can be hard for tourists to use without changing to another bus or long walks. For example, the Royal Opera House is 10 kms from hotel. By using public transport this would require a 2.5 kms walk. The hotel rooms are quite spacious and feature comfortable lounge style chairs. The hotel is located near an expressway /motorway, but good soundproofing means this is not an issue. I was of level 3 and could just see the ocean in the distance (right) and the mall (to left). They do have ocean view room (more expensive higher up the building). The TV is very disappointing - small & old with fuzzy channels. Fortunately, the internet is great, so viewing most programs on the computer. The rooftop has great swimming pool and bar, but maybe a little too cold to swim with highs of about 22-23 C in winter. Staff at receptionist are very obliging. I can definitely recommend this hotel for shopping and good base to experience Muscat. However, as mentioned, it is long way from the major tourists attraction of the city and taxi is required.

II live to travellocation good. near some fast food eateries. hotel breakfast was good but needs a bit more variety - i stayed for 3 nights so the dishes were almost the same every day. My room was comfortable. unfortunately my view was not great (another building). there were a lot of bugs (like flies) in the bathroom because there is poor air circulation. suggestion: please have clothes hangers that can be used in the bathroom. Some hooks o the wall would be useful for coats/jackets. the lady at the reception when i checked in wasn't warm or friendly. she had a neutral face. no warm greeting or friendliness that i would expect from a frontline hotel staff. she also was there when i checked out - she was on the phone and just gestured for me to drop my key card in the box. no ”thank you”, or ”bye” or anything. nobody helped me with my luggage when i checked out. my van pickup was blocked by a parked car so i had to use the steps (and not the ramp). it would be nice if there was someone from the hotel to assist. there was a male staff who helped me when my key card did not work on 14 September 2025. He was very helpful, warm and actually accompanied me to my room to check the card. good service! overall, good stay. would definitely return if come back to Muscat.

GGuest UserExcellent location - close to shops, eateries, minutes away from the airport bus. Great pool on the roof top with panoramic views. Breakfast is fine with hot food selections changing from day to day. The staff, both at the reception and restaurant, was very accommodating and helpful. Thank you! The room was spacious and the bathroom amenities were acceptable. One suggestion is to retire some of the old towels; some were frayed at the edges.
