"Walking distance to historical areas
Head to the carpark lift and go to the upper level of the carpark, then walk along the carpark heading away from the station but parallel and you will see two glass lifts to the Ibis hotel. Don't follow google map which takes you to the rear of the hotels running along with the railway tracks as you have to walk around the whole block and back to the carpark lift. Very confusing and not good for people who have mobility issues. The escalators near the convenience store outside the station were not working, if you are mobile you can climb stairs but with luggage I'd recommend that you use the carpark lift.
Buses you can tap on with your credit card or phone pay. There's luggage storage lockers at the station but expensive and once you lock you can't unlock until you are finished using otherwise you have to pay again, even if you paid already for many hours.

"The location is very good, right in the city centre. Walking distance to attraction places and it only takes minutes. The only dislike thing about this place was we booked 2 rooms, our room is fine,but my parents room is super smelly, the carpet stink all over the room. "The location is average, the room itself is very nice, but one exception…the chairs in the room. They are not comfortable to sit on for longer than 30 minutes.
I don’t understand why a hotel like this would pick such cheap and uncomfortable chairs."

"Easily accessible from the train station by bus 2 (15-minute ride - you can pay with a credit card on the bus).
I recommend buying day tickets for €9 at the train station - this allows you to travel as often as you like throughout the day - buses every 10 minutes.
Generally: Hotel more like 3*, breakfast more like 2*
4* used to be 40 years ago - not much has changed in the hotel since then - patina everywhere (especially the Japanese garden)
There are only 3 floors - we had a view of the roof of the neighboring building.
Plus points:
Very spacious rooms, drinking fountain for tea making, e.g., in the lobby, refrigerator in the room.
Coffee at breakfast is usually a disaster in every hotel - however, there is a coffee machine that brews freshly and even has decaf beans - drinkable."

"A very Cosy hotel right in the old city centre. Staff members are so nice to put chocolate bars in my allocated room as birthday gift as I check in on my bday.
Beware there are rooms with wooden logs that may not be acceptable by some tourists. Some rooms are on G/F or underground floors which you may need some psychological preparation.
In a word, a very good hotel with professional staff and excellent location to go everywhere"

"The hotel is in a good location and is easy to get in and out of.
The hotel lobby bar is beautiful overall and the decoration is very artistic. It's a pity that we didn't enjoy it.
The room is clean and sanitary, but it feels average compared to the bar and public areas.

"The room is clean and tidy, and the overall layout of the hotel is very comfortable. It has air conditioning and a bathtub. There is a courtyard inside the hotel. You can reach the main square within a two-minute walk outside. There is also a supermarket when you turn right when you go out. Knowing that this was my first time in Bruges, the guy at the front desk introduced the tour route in detail and was very enthusiastic!"

"The room is not big, but very clean! The hotel environment and breakfast are very good, and it is a five-minute walk from the cathedral!
However, we drove according to the address given by the hotel and the navigation did not lead us to the hotel lobby. The room and the hotel lobby are separated by a road! We called a waiter, and her attitude was extremely bad! We could see the hotel lobby by backing up the car, but she insisted that we drive to the underground parking lot. We asked if we could put down our luggage, but she said no! As a result, we found that we had to climb two floors to get to the lobby when we arrived at the underground parking lot. We were so sad with the elderly and several large luggage! So I give a bad review for the hotel service!"

GGuest UserObviously, the owner of the property, Jason, has put a lot of thoughts into furnishing it and has taken great pride and care in its upkeeping. The property is located on the quieter side of the old town but is anyway just about a 5 minute walk to Markt. The room is well appointed, spacious and clean. The breakfast prepared personally by Jason is sumptuous and tasty. A fantastic stay!

GGuest UserA wonderful stay. Living room over the canal was stunning. You can open the window fully and sit in the deep window seat and enjoy the ambience. Sweet garden to chill in by the canal. Refurbed modern bathroom with rolltop bath and super comfy large bed. The best ever breakfast. Really lovely hosts. We’d definitely go back. Stairs to bedroom are steep but automatic light helps. Need to extend the handrail.

The room wasn't quite as big as previous stays, but it was clean and had everything we needed.
The hotel itself is beautiful, great service and the breakfast is one of the best I have ever had at a hotel.
Of course it's not a cheap stay, but for a 5* it's very well priced and I will definitely be returning again.
The only thing I would comment, which is a very particular observation by me, is that tge complimentary toiletries are not branded. It would be nice to have L'occitane, Molton Brown or Elemis especially in a 5*.But as I say, a very lovely hotel and it won't be my last stay

Ll3unnyAbsolutely looooooved this hotel! The room was huge, the king size bed was so comfy that I didn’t even wanna roll out of bed to have breakfast! I felt like a queen for a night but at an affordable price. Staff are all really nice and helpful. I’ll definitely stay at this hotel again if I visit Bruges again. I’ll also recommend this hotel to everyone else.

And I was given a room on the first floor, where I could drink coffee outside, which was very comfortable. The hotel is also well soundproofed, and it's especially quiet at night.

GGuest UserGreat location close to the centre but away from the noise. Front desk were friendly and I was able to store my bicycle, although a shame you have to pay extra for this. Bed was comfy and room has needed amenities. Breakfast options were a bit limited but well stocked considering how busy it got. I would stay here again if revisiting Bruges.

GGao Xia 高霞Super friendly and helpful staff, very clean hotel. At that price I got a clean room with working central heating, located on the second floor without an elevator. The room had a small desk without enough lighting needed to work. Lights located in the central part of the ceiling and next to bed. The bathroom had soap and bath gel/shampoo. Photos below were taken on the day of my departure.
