Cleanliness: The room was clean and smelled fresh; the lobby was tastefully decorated.
Amenities: The heating was excellent.
Environment: Very close to the entrance of the West Slope Scenic Area, and there's an Eurasia Supermarket right next door, making it convenient to buy daily necessities and snacks.
Service: I recommend the guesthouse's breakfast; it was delicious and plentiful, giving us plenty of energy for our morning hike up the West Slope!
Finally, Tiezhu is so cute! ☺️

Guest UserThe bunk beds alone deserve a perfect score! No child can resist them. They even provide bed rails. The hotel lobby has toys, so waiting for the shuttle isn't boring. Plus, the shuttles are frequent and the signs are clear. While Songguoli is a bit far from the commercial street, the shuttle service makes it acceptable, and the price is much cheaper than hotels near the commercial street, offering great value for money.
The complimentary activities were also generous. We had two adults and two children, and even though one child wasn't tall enough for some activities, they let the older child play twice, which was very thoughtful. The hotel concierge was also very responsive.
The evening firework show was absolutely beautiful! Highly recommended! The other performances were also good. I prefer it here over Wanda. The shuttle buses are more frequent, making for a better experience.

Guest UserThe location is central, but using the back entrance makes everything easily accessible, and it's not right on the food street, so it feels very quiet. Taking the back exit near the lollipops in the hotel lobby, and then the path in front of the big lawn, is even closer and more convenient. The overall service was excellent; every guest gets a hotel assistant. Our assistant, 7-Up, sent messages beforehand with reminders, weather forecasts, and patiently answered all our questions. We booked a deluxe twin room and got one with a mountain view. From the room, you could see the lawn, cable car, etc., offering great views. Food: Breakfast was a standard hotel buffet. The dinner buffet had grilled skewers, hot pots, and other decent options.
Resort-wide benefits: They included access to the slide, cable car, water park, hot springs, and more. Everything was great, except for the long wait times for the slide.
The hotel facilities are quite old, but they are clean, which is a plus. Overall, it was a good experience.

After the Mid-Autumn Festival here, the moon cakes were very sweet, and I saw the fireworks, and the surrounding scenery was beautiful. I brought my parents to live for 3 days and the whole family was very satisfied! In the homestay, quiet in the middle of noisy, there is a small yard at the door, and a small vegetable garden planted by the boss himself. It is very warm and clean. My parents can drink tea and sunbathe there every morning. The boss was very patient and helped us plan a slow tour route that was not in a hurry. The location was simply excellent and it was very close to our attractions. The room is quiet, the layout is warm and distinctive, the furniture in the comfortable room is not sharp corners, the hot water is stable for 24 hours, and the water temperature is also suitable for elders. The hygiene is done carefully, and there is no dust in the depths of the wardrobe. My parents said that it is more comfortable than living at home! No matter the facilities, sanitation, environment, and service are impeccable in all aspects, it is simply the best choice for travel!

The restaurant in Building 2 is a bit small, so if you dine a little later, you'll have to queue. The room itself is very spacious, with separate living and sleeping areas, which is convenient for working without disturbing others. It has all the necessary amenities, but they are all old, and the renovation work wasn't done very well. For example, some tiles are uneven, there are many repair marks, and some power outlets are faulty or loose. Some room doorbells are also broken. For the fixtures, the air conditioning thermostat panel is Honeywell, the showerhead is Kohler (but no rain shower), the basin is American Standard, the toilet seems to be Kohler, and the power outlets are old Legrand models. The kitchen appliances are slightly inferior Haier, and the TV is TCL. There's a butler service, which is handy for asking questions, and getting to the airport is easy with the free shuttle bus, although the driver is a bit cool. The location is excellent; it's convenient to get anywhere and within walking distance. The shower stall could really use a shelf for toiletries. Overall, I'm still satisfied.

ZhumengchanglaoBefore I list all the issues encountered during this trip, I'd like to commend the following staff members (whose full names I unfortunately don't know): Butler Xiao Song, Duty Manager Xiao Gao on August 6th, and Duty Manager Xiao Wang on August 7th. I was satisfied with their service attitude and efficiency; my dissatisfaction lies with the hotel's management and some other personnel. Below, I will truthfully recount my experience:
1. **Check-in on August 5th**: We checked into the hotel before 3 PM. Out of three rooms, only one twin room was ready. We went for dinner and returned around 4:30 PM, only to be told another room was still not ready! After urging, it was cleaned within 20 minutes, allowing everyone to finally check in.
2. **Incident on August 6th**: After returning from an outing, my wife slipped and slightly twisted her ankle in the room. The reason was a large amount of water on the floor (photos will be attached), clearly left after cleaning and not dried promptly. Upon immediate complaint, the duty manager arranged an upgrade to a suite (a serious issue, but the solution was acceptable).
3. **The Most Serious Issue**: Around 8 PM on the evening of the 6th, the air conditioning in the suite felt ineffective. Maintenance was called, and we were told the AC was fine, just that the room was large and it would cool down eventually. By 10:30 PM, it was still ineffective. When we requested another check, we were informed that the AC in this room (3052) was indeed faulty! It couldn't be repaired that day! Given how late it was, I only asked the duty manager to quickly arrange another problem-free room so we could rest, and I didn't pursue further complaints. Since I don't know the name of this maintenance worker, I can't name him, but his behavior was appalling! The hotel should bear full responsibility for this.
I'd also like to state that I am a Marriott Platinum Elite member and usually enjoy staying at Marriott brand hotels. However, due to the points mentioned above, my experience this stay was extremely poor! This is not the service standard or staff quality expected from a five-star hotel! For all these issues, I reserve the right to continue complaining and seek compensation. I urge both Trip.com and Marriott Group to take these issues seriously and provide timely feedback!

We brought our child to Tianchi and thought it would be nice for them to soak in the hot springs after coming down from the mountain. That turned out to be a great idea! We had a fantastic time at the hot spring hotel that day and spent most of the next day exploring the resort. There are so many activities, and it's a one-stop shop for food, accommodation, and entertainment, all in a beautiful setting. We originally planned to spend the whole day enjoying the activities, but we had to leave the water park quickly because the water was too cold. My only suggestion is that since this place caters to families with seniors and children, the water temperature is too low. The kids' play area was only 19 degrees Celsius, and the wave pool was just over 20 degrees. Many families went in without realizing how cold it was and came out shortly after, with their children's lips turning purple and shivering from the cold. I really hope the water temperature can be adjusted, made a bit warmer. Also, towels should be provided upon exiting the pool, not just after showering. I told a staff member my child was shivering and asked if we could get a towel, especially since it was windy outside, and only then did they say yes. I don't mean anything by it, but this is one area where they could learn from other hot spring hotels. The Holiday Inn Express where we stayed was quite good, with a rich breakfast and very friendly and enthusiastic front desk service. However, the staff at the entrance seemed more helpful to tour groups. For those of us who drove ourselves, they weren't as attentive. Maybe they figured we wouldn't be returning. I was alone with my child, carrying two pieces of luggage, and no one at the entrance offered to help. But when a tour group came out, they immediately helped them with their luggage onto their bus… I don't even want to comment on that…

SUNNIE_08We chose the E-Hua Hotel for our trip to Changbai Mountain with the kids. Our butler, David, provided excellent service, and the hotel's cleanliness was good. However, the facilities are a bit old; the air conditioning was very loud when on, and the toilet showed its age. The laundry room was convenient to use, and breakfast offered a wide variety. We arrived on the 15th and luckily caught the fireworks festival, then successfully hiked to the West Slope to see the Heavenly Lake on the 16th – it all felt so worth it! Taxis are readily available right outside the hotel, making it super easy to get around. We also highly recommend Qiaopopo Restaurant, which the hotel suggested; the food was delicious, prices were reasonable, and they even offer a shuttle service! Definitely a great find!

Guest User1. I booked this hotel two months in advance. The hotel told me the main building had mountain views. On the day of check-in, my butler told me a room on the 2nd floor of the main building was reserved for me. However, when I arrived that evening, the front desk said there was no such reservation. The front desk staff's attitude was poor, saying the manager wasn't available in the evening. Although they eventually upgraded us to a villa, the view from the villa was terrible. The next day, the butler said he was asleep and missed my call, claiming that in Switzerland, the low-lying terrain means you can't see much of the mountains. Very frustrating. The villa faced another villa, so the view wasn't good. It looked nice from the outside, but the lighting inside was dim, and being next to the road, there was noise from passing cars when the windows were open. Yet, when checking in, the front desk still claimed the villa area was the best, saying the main building had many tour groups and was noisy. However, the outside of the villa was quite picturesque for photos.
2. The breakfast at the villa was the same for two consecutive days. The pickled vegetables looked like leftovers and tasted terrible. When we asked the female chef in the villa area if she could make an omelet, she gave us a cold, stern look and said she couldn't. Later, we found out it was possible in the main building. It really depends on who you encounter here. Most staff were very enthusiastic, but a few bad apples really spoiled the experience.
3. The hotel offers some perks, like complimentary rafting, which wasn't great due to the crowds and poor experience. The butler even admitted that paying for it would be better. But they only told us the ticket price, not the full cost. We only found out upon arrival that there was an additional charge for the shuttle back from rafting. The butlers didn't mention any of this beforehand.
4. During summer, there are tons of families with kids and many cars. The experience is really bad; it's best to drive yourself. There are no good restaurants near the resort; you have to drive over ten kilometers to Wanda Plaza or even further to a town.
5. The facilities are supposedly newer than Wanda's, but in reality, the bathroom outlet was broken, the bathtub leaked in the middle of the night, and my child's tablet couldn't connect to the WiFi, so we had to use a hotspot. It was just a mess. In the villa area, what greets you in the morning might be the sun, or it might be a freshly woven spiderweb 🕸️ and a large spider. Hope the kids don't get scared.
6. Before coming, I asked about the temperature, and they told us to bring thick jackets. Turns out, we didn't need any thick clothes at all; short sleeves were perfectly fine. I honestly feel the service is quite subpar. Although the butler asked for a good review, I really can't give one. The service desperately needs training; it doesn't meet the standard for a good review.

XiangergongziChangbai Mountain family trip with kids.
They were very generous and upgraded us to a suite, but we didn't get the room until 4 PM. The staff were all quite enthusiastic, but the concierge service was disjointed – lots of staff but disorganized, and they almost missed delivering one of our bags if we hadn't reminded them.
There are dogs you can arrange to meet, and they are all very cute. They also gave us Wanda benefits, and the mountain coaster was a lot of fun, though we had to wait an hour in line and there were no restrooms at the top.
The hotel has two hot spring pools, both very comfortable.
The downside was the breakfast, which was really subpar and didn't meet Park Hyatt standards. It was a mix of à la carte and buffet. Two of the stir-fried dishes were the same for both days, and all the noodle dishes were bland. By 9 AM, some items on the à la carte menu were already gone. In summary, it was rather basic and not very tasty.
Room amenities were also a downgrade. The slippers were rough and thin-soled, uncomfortable to wear. When I asked, they said these were the only kind they had.
During turn-down service, they left a half-empty bottle of water by the bed that we hadn't finished. Very economical of them.
