At the hotel, I tried bamboo weaving, tasted Pu'er tea, and enjoyed activities like flashing flowers and paper planes. 4. **Great views**: The scenery is picturesque without even leaving the hotel, perfect for photos. "This B&B, tucked away in Datong Ancient Town, is a converted factory building. While it only has nine rooms, the overall design, decor, and service are every bit as high as a five-star hotel. Few B&Bs offer parking pick-up and drop-off services, let alone the arduous climbs and scrambles to carry our massive luggage. The 24-hour butler service, complete with sweet soup for goodnight, was a truly heartwarming touch. Furthermore, they ensured the room was cleaned and tidied in the morning. When we returned to the B&B in the afternoon, the air conditioning was on, the bed was made, and the lights were adjusted to a comfortable setting. The value for money surpassed that of a five-star hotel."
