"I've been in Dali for three or four days and felt like I'd seen most of the sights, then I discovered there's a place in Eryuan, the Dali Geothermal Park, that's similar to the Heshun Hot Springs in Tengchong. The hot springs here are also sulfur springs, and they come directly from the ground. This Dali Geothermal Park has genuine hot springs, not like some places that transport and reheat the spring water. The yurts are generally good; although the bathroom facilities are a bit old, the bedding hygiene overall is quite good, and the sheets are comfortable. I saw they are also renovating the yurts. I think this place is better than Niujie and Putuo, as the hot springs are much larger in scale. Changbai Mountain Lan Jing Hot Spring and Tengchong Heshun Hot Springs are the same type as this place; I'm not interested in those private baths with reheated, non-flowing spring water."

"Beautiful hotsprings hotel. There are 6-7 pools, many of them private for public use on the 4th floor with nice views overlooking town and the mountains. You can make the pools as hot as you would like as there are separate hot/cold water taps to fill. There are also multiple tea/nap rooms. The breakfast was delicious and varied with warm milk for bedtime and in the morning. The host was very accommodating. A pleasant find in Niujie."
