Chongyeji · Shanman · Yeelen Viewing Chalet
(Baihaba Big Stone Viewing Platform Branch)
Brand Origin · Chongyeji
Chongyeji is a high-end mountain homestay brand deeply rooted in Altay, Xinjiang. Adhering to the core philosophy of “One Journey, Multiple Stays”, we have established several benchmark mountain retreats in core scenic areas such as Baihaba and Kanas. With mountain aesthetics as our foundation, we deeply integrate the local culture of Altay with contemporary comfort needs, breaking the boundaries of traditional accommodation. We provide every traveler with an immersive in-depth experience of “living in the scenery”, making the journey not merely a stopover, but a profound embrace with nature.
Mountain Dwelling · Scenery in All Seasons
Built with native logs as the architectural base and natural light as the spatial context, the homestay brings the four seasons of Baihaba indoors. A glance out the window embraces the vastness of heaven and earth. Strategically located next to the Big Stone Viewing Platform—the heart of Baihaba Scenic Area, known as the “Northwest's No. 1 Village”—it boasts an unparalleled panoramic view. Without the need to rush around, you can enjoy the snow-capped mountains, alpine meadows, and the entire village right from your window.
As the seasons turn, the scenery shifts: Spring brings fresh green adorning the hills; Summer sees verdant green covering the forests; Autumn dyes the village in golden hues with Xinjiang larches; Winter blankets the world in silver. Every season holds the exclusive mountain poetry of Baihaba.
Conveniently connected to multiple core attractions: Adjacent to the Baerte Viewing Platform, Yegen Grassland, and Sky Grassland, with easy access to the border scenery at the China-Kazakhstan Border Viewing Platform.
Public areas are full of charm: Featuring two side-by-side swings where you can gaze at the Kazakhstan border scenery, backed by towering snow mountains and colorful forests. A large green lawn is ideal for relaxing and photos. As night falls, lights adorn the chalets and starry skies pour down, creating a stunning atmosphere.
Living Experience · Warmth in Every Detail
Climate Control: Underfloor heating throughout the house paired with humidifiers effectively counters the high-altitude dryness and cold, wrapping you in gentle warmth even on freezing nights.
Amenities: Thoughtfully furnished with hair dryers, comfortable sofas, and stylish coffee tables. Each room includes mineral water and a kettle for morning coffee or late-night tea.
Bath & Sleep: Smart toilets, constant-temperature bathrooms with 24-hour hot water, and selected premium toiletries turn every shower into a healing ritual. High-count soft linens and supportive mattresses cradle your body for a sound sleep.
From snow-capped mountains to starry nights, Chongyeji · Shanman · Yeelen Viewing Chalet captures all the poetic seasons of Baihaba. Staying here is more than a rest stop—it is an immersive mountain journey of coexisting with nature.
"Coming from the Kanas Stay Hotel, the difference was quite significant. The hotel's surroundings were rather basic. There were no drinking cups in the room, though the landlady kindly provided a few disposable paper cups and two travel mugs (like small gifts), which we neither used nor took.
The landlady warned us that the bed might get very hot at night, but we didn't expect it to be this hot; it felt like there was an electric blanket on the bed. Even with the underfloor heating off, it was still very stuffy. We didn't sleep well all night.
There was no breakfast, no mini-bar, or any snacks; it was just a place to stay."
