"Noble Badge Hotel was intentionally the first stop in my travels to China this year. Having lived near it when I was little, this particular stay was a highly anticipated highlight of my trip. It did not disappoint and surpassed my expectations in terms of the warmth and hospitality that was shown to me by the entire staff. I stayed at one of the renovated rooms towards the upper levels, and the amenities are more than sufficient for my needs. The fact that after more than two decades, the hotel facilities are still in excellent condition really reflects the high quality construction and build of the hotel. The food was delicious - both at the breakfast buffet and at the Fortuna Chinese Restaurant on the third floor. However, what was truly outstanding was the service. Everyone who greeted me, especially the 大堂经理许亚敏先生 and 钟显梅女士, showed me the utmost respect and attention to detail, going above and beyond to take care of my needs when I was in a time crunch. They even gave me a tour of the hotel and highlighted the major upgrades to the hotel over the years. The glass elevators up to the top is essentially a free observatory with great views of the city. My stay here was beyond satisfactory and I will highly recommend it to others."

"This hotel was incredibly comfortable to stay in. The service was exceptional and thoughtful, and they even offered laundry and tidying services, which was a huge convenience and made my stay so much easier. The location is also fantastic, making it super easy to go out and shop, with plenty of stores and supermarkets nearby. The room was clean and tidy, very comfortable, and offered great value for money. It's definitely my top choice for accommodation when traveling. I'll be staying here again next time!"

"First, I'd like to commend the manager, Xiao Lin, for their thoughtful and enthusiastic service. Then, a shout-out to Xiao Liang at the front desk for their excellent service; they even rode with us to familiarize us with the route. All the other staff members were also incredibly professional and friendly. The hotel is very new, with well-equipped and spacious rooms. The twin beds are on the second floor, and downstairs there's a shared living room that's very roomy – we had it all to ourselves that day, which was a nice bonus! They even use an Aiboss air purifier, which is a big plus. The breakfast was a 'nine-square grid' style, with a good variety of dishes. While it's not a buffet, it's probably done this way to avoid waste since there weren't many guests. I hope they can offer more choices in the future. Also, there's a cycling path nearby with beautiful scenery. You can bring your own bike or the hotel provides them for free. Overall, it was a fantastic stay."

"The Ctrip package with breakfast and dinner was incredibly good value for money! The hotel is right on the East River, with the lobby on the 29th floor, offering panoramic views of the murky East River and the picturesque West Lake. Check-in was quick. There was a 10-minute wait at the front desk during the Dragon Boat Festival, which was acceptable. The room's highlight was its high floor and expansive views. However, the room felt a bit dated. The air conditioner was incredibly noisy when turned up high, and even on the lowest setting, it was still quite loud. The most unbearable part was how dry it made the air; I was parched all night from the air conditioning. The hairdryer was an old model with weak airflow. The shower pressure wasn't great; it lacked the strong spray you'd expect from a star-rated hotel. If you order takeout, be prepared to pick it up yourself! They were generous with bottled water. On the first day, I asked for extra and got four bottles. On the second day, they automatically provided four 560ml JingTian bottles. The first day, there were small face towels, but on the second day, only large bath towels were provided. For the public areas, we mainly used the swimming pool. It's about 10 meters long and ranges from 1.1 to 1.6 meters deep, which isn't ideal for proper swimming. The water quality was clean and it was heated, but it was absolutely packed during the holiday. The pool closes at 9:50 PM, and we managed to squeeze in a swim just before closing on both nights. The gym area seems to be outsourced, and towels aren't allowed upstairs. The dinner was a pleasant surprise because they didn't charge for children, which immediately made it a great value. If you book in advance, you can get a riverside table with fantastic views for enjoying the night scenery. You can order steak and chicken chop à la carte, which were pretty good. The biggest highlight was the Tom Yum Goong Garoupa fillet, which was very fresh and cooked on the spot by the chef. Though, for some reason, the chef seemed quite stressed and angry throughout. The sashimi was fairly standard, but the salmon and octopus were good. They also had Hainanese chicken; the chili sauce was excellent, but the chicken itself was a bit dry. There were other Southeast Asian specialties, so there was some variety. Overall, the quality was just average compared to similar hotels in Dongguan, but given the price, it still offered good value for money. Breakfast: I could honestly just eat one thing: their Hakka pork offal noodle soup – it was delicious! There were three topping options for the noodles at breakfast, which was great. They also had three soup bases: pork offal, chicken, and beef bone. The pork offal soup was incredibly flavorful, just as good as anything you'd find outside. You can definitely get a very filling breakfast here and won't feel hungry until lunchtime. You can walk to Hualian Tiandi in about 10 minutes. Taking a taxi to West Lake also takes around 10 minutes. Even if you come by car, I'd recommend taking a taxi to West Lake."

Huizhou Longmen Nankunshan Zhuxi Mountain Resort Hot Spring Hotel

It was almost 8 PM when we got back from Shantou, and the hotel even thoughtfully called to remind us about check-in. The hotel was conveniently located not far from the highway exit. The room layout was well-designed; though not super new, it was perfectly adequate. Soaking in the hot spring tub on the balcony was a great way to wash away the travel fatigue. It's a shame that guests upstairs were still being loud late into the night, but thankfully we're used to going to bed late. In the morning, you can look down from the balcony and see the hot spring pools; there aren't many, but the environment is lovely. Breakfast was decent too. Upon checkout, they even gave us some Longmen local specialties. I'd definitely recommend this hotel as a good rest stop during your travels.

Cleanliness: The room was quite clean. The king-size bed room could fit a family of four, haha, very good. Facilities: There's a water park, an infinity pool, a kids' pool, and a lazy river. Service: I originally booked a room with a bathtub, but then I saw a room with a lazy river and went to the front desk to ask if I could switch. Luckily, one was available, and they let me switch. The experience was really great, and the service was excellent. The kids had a fantastic time, and we adults also had a lot of fun. We even tried parasailing by the sea!

Thanks to the front desk, we got a free upgrade during the off-season. The room had an amazing view, basically over 270 degrees of ocean. This hotel is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The facilities include a beach, hot springs, a kids' splash area, a swimming pool, and even cliffs and rocks for scenic views – more than enough for a two-day, one-night stay. Regarding the room, everything worked perfectly. The shower pressure was excellent, and the bedding was comfortable. Falling asleep to the sound of waves made for a great night's sleep. We also received complimentary welcome fruits. The view allowed us to see the very long coastline of Shuangyue Bay perfectly. The room also had a minibar and a small fridge. As for the service, I needed to freeze breast milk, and both the front desk and concierge responded efficiently, and the process was very smooth. Other online concierges also enthusiastically asked if I needed anything, and their responses were very prompt. The breakfast buffet caters to everyone, from seniors to children, with both Chinese and Western options. I think it's quite good for a five-star hotel breakfast. The only minor drawbacks were that the sand on the beach was a bit coarse, which could be uncomfortable when walking in the surf or playing in the sand. While the interior decor might make the hotel appear a bit dated due to the material choices, the lighting throughout the hotel is specially designed and looks beautiful at night.

2024/04/05-08 Park Plaza Hotel in Nankunshan in Guangdong The hotel's meals are truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in China! They have put so much effort into my food, who cannot eat everything. The weekend there was really pleasant even though it was raining badly all the time. After I talked to the hotel and a manager for about 2 hours that evening when I arrived, to find out if they would be able to give me something to eat, because I'm allergic to several things, I really did not expect much. They said they would bring it to my room... What a pleasant surprise the next morning and the 2 other mornings !!! The most beautiful and most delicious food you can imagine!! Wow and they are far from cities, thus they prepared it with what they had!! 😊🌸🌻👍🏻 The staff were also so polite and friendly!! Unfortunately there was no map of the resort and also not clear signs. I couldn't understand the cryptic directions to the hotsprings the reception gave...😱 Thus I had to wait till the lights came on, then I could see where the lights at the pools were .. Perhaps they can put a ”roof” or cover over some pools, then it will be more enjoyable when raining... Because if the rain, the roof swimming pool was closed, but beautiful view from there. There are so many beautiful nature places nearby to explore and fir hiking, but unfortunately the weather was not good as the rain was pouring! Perhaps the hotel can buy the ugly murals or ruins or half-built buildings that damage and interrupt the beautiful views of trees... It is really a sore eye in the beautiful view... then they can renovate and finish the buildings... I really hope one day I can go again!! But everywhere I have been telling people of this great hotel and will keep on doing it!! 👍🏻🌻😊

Our stay at the Ramada Huamei Hotel in Xunliao Bay was absolutely wonderful! The front desk staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. Check-in was efficient, and they were quick to respond to any questions, which made us feel very comfortable. The hotel's water park is a lot of fun, with plenty of slides and water features, and the water quality was good. It's perfect for kids; ours had an absolute blast. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, offering a wide variety of delicious food options. Our dining experience was excellent. The overall facilities are comprehensive, providing a fantastic resort feel. I highly recommend it for families, and we'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Xunliao Bay!

I'm back at Le Méridien Xiaojing Bay! I contacted customer service agent Camilla, and she arranged for an early check-in and an upgrade to a higher floor – many thanks! The hotel has been open for a few years now, and the hardware is still well-maintained. The service continues to be of a high standard. I remember suggesting they switch to more comfortable slippers a while ago, and they've actually done it – they're perfect for the beachside. The hotel's adjacent greenway has also been upgraded, making it great for running, cycling, or just a stroll. This time, I tried the two-person set meal and afternoon tea at the restaurant. I highly recommend the two-person lunch; it's great value for money, and the food is clean, delicious, and served in a wonderful setting. My child accidentally broke a cup in the room, and when I proactively offered to pay, the hotel waived the charge, which was very considerate – thumbs up! One small suggestion again: the water provided in the room isn't great. I recommend switching to a better brand of mineral water.

We stayed for three days and had a butler named Xiao Hui who helped us with everything we needed, from dining to activities. The hotel has several restaurants, and the best one is called 'Dongshan Sea Chinese Restaurant.' Their set meals are very affordable; a set for two adults and one child was more than enough food. Our room was on a high floor with a sea view, no strange odors, and excellent hygiene. The facilities weren't old, and there was a small pool on the balcony. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily, and Aunt Xiu Yan always came to ask if I needed anything. She had a very kind smile and provided great service. There are many pools, but my favorite was the infinity pool, which overlooks the beach and the ocean – absolutely loved it, perfect for photos! The lobby has bubble blowing and a clown making balloons every afternoon, and there's a children's play area on the first floor. The hotel even has a KTV, but no massage services, unfortunately. Outside the hotel, there are many seafood restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies, and milk tea shops nearby. If you don't want to walk, you can rent an electric scooter just outside the hotel for a reasonable price. When we left, a staff member named Sister Gao Li from the lobby helped us find our way to the hotel's afternoon tea and even gave us two small gifts. Our trip was so smooth and enjoyable because of all of you!

The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, and cozy, with very new and well-equipped facilities.
