It's located in a quiet neighbourhood close to the silver stone forest entrance (~5km). The rooms are nice, well equipped, clean and the beds comfortable. We even had a balcony with seats to rest in. The common places are also very nice. There is at least one good restaurant nearby (as we only tried this one), along the main road; and a 7/11 equivalent just facing the house. The young lady managing the house speaks English; she's very nice and helpful. Definitely the place to stop when sleeping in Shilin!"

The supermarket is also a long way away, so it is best to bring the necessary items when you stay in the hotel. I brought everything else with me and there is nothing wrong with me. I will choose this place again next time I go to the hot springs."
