"We went to Wanggangping during the hottest part of summer in Western Sichuan, hoping to escape the heat in the mountains and catch a glimpse of Mount Gongga. So, I packed up my family, old and young, and headed up. It was wonderfully cool in the mountains during the day; while it was 39 degrees Celsius down below, it was less than 30 degrees up here with a strong wind. The UV rays were quite intense, though, and at night, it dropped to just over ten degrees. The hotel service was very thoughtful. When we went for an evening stroll, they reminded us to wear jackets, as it gets cold very quickly after sunset. Around 9 PM, they called us out to see the stars. It's a sky full of stars that you rarely see in the city, and we could even clearly see the Milky Way. Manager Li, who was on duty, also helped us take some time-lapse photos of the starry sky, which we really appreciated. The next morning, the weather was better, and I got up around 6 AM to see if I could catch the 'Golden Summit bathed in sunlight' (Rizhao Jinshan). However, the clouds and mist were too thick, and I couldn't even make out the outline of Mount Gongga. I figured the chances were slim in summer anyway, so I didn't dwell on it. But then, after breakfast, around 8 AM, when we were about to go hiking, we stepped out and saw Mount Gongga and the surrounding peaks directly – it was definitely worth the trip! All in all, if you're looking for a comfortable environment and good service while staying in the mountains, this place is a solid choice."

"The family room I booked was large, clean, and very quiet with good soundproofing at night. The breakfast was a little small, but it was enough. I went to eat barbecue 1 km away from the hotel at night. The Shimian barbecue tasted really good. Overall, the experience was very good. I will stay here again next time I come to Shimian."

"The hotel is located next to the Sichuan Mining Memory Museum, and it has a retro industrial style that I love. I especially recommend going up to the observation deck for a panoramic view of the Dadu River, the spiral intersection of the Ya'an-Xichang Expressway and the Luzhou-Shilin Expressway – it's truly spectacular. The private hot spring rooms are a great experience. The rooms on the first floor have a sizable courtyard, and the separation between rooms and between floors is excellent, ensuring exceptional privacy. It's perfect for families or those who enjoy hot springs, and I highly recommend this hotel."

"I booked a river view room before, and the hotel also arranged a high-rise building very intimately. The view was excellent and there was no obstruction. Sitting on the chair on the balcony and drinking tea was simply too pleasant. The soundproofing effect of the room is also good, and the noise outside is not heard at all. Health and service are impeccable, it is definitely a perfect stay experience!"

"A new B&B that just opened. The room is clean and tidy. Because I traveled with my pet, I chose this one after comparing it with another B&B of similar price. The other one also charged a cleaning fee, and the yard was not as big as this one, nor as quiet as this one. The owner was very enthusiastic. Because I brought my dog, he upgraded the room to a room with a balcony for free, which was very heartwarming."
