I booked on a Saturday, and for some reason, hotels in Taichung are incredibly expensive on Saturdays; this one was triple its usual rate. Overall, the stay was quite pleasant. The room was a bit small, but the cleanliness was acceptable, and the service was very good. Despite the Saturday price hike, the cost felt reasonable for such a prime location. I would consider staying here again."

The location is incredibly convenient, with an abundance of great food options nearby. It's only about 300 meters from Taichung Station, a mere five-minute walk. Zhongxiao Night Market is around 1.5 kilometers away, roughly a ten-minute walk. Miyahara is even closer, just a 6-minute walk, making transport extremely convenient overall. The hotel also provides daily weather forecasts, which is very useful for planning visits to attractions like Sun Moon Lake, Cingjing Farm, and Alishan. My overall stay was fantastic. I definitely hope to visit again. Highly recommended!"

"The location is excellent, right next to the art gallery and cultural center. However, check-in is strictly at 4 PM – not a minute earlier – and check-out is at 12 PM. I arrived at 3 PM and asked if I could check in early, but was told the room wasn't ready. This felt quite unconvincing, especially since the place seemed practically empty. Other than that, everything else was fine."

The hotel has many interesting facilities, in particular a slide from the 2nd floor that they encourage every one to try -- including adults! There's also a space for congregating/chilling and an art space for everyone to enjoy. The hotel also has free bikes if one enjoys cycling out to explore. There is complementary parking available, but it is about 2mins drive/5mins walk away from the hotel.
We bought the breakfast option and it came with a choice from 4 sets - main course, drink and it was good!"

The public transport is also very convenient for getting to Taiwan Boulevard and High Speed Railway Taichung Station.
"This is a 4-star hotel. Regarding facilities: 1. No bathtub. 2. No smart toilet. This feels a bit off for Taiwan. The bed was quite large, everything else was standard, and the bathroom was also spacious. Plus, there's a 220v outlet.
Cleanliness: No issues, very good.
Service: For breakfast, you have to clear your own plates and cutlery. Is this a cost-cutting measure? It's not very eco-friendly and reduces staff jobs. Also, I was given a dirty, unwashed cup. Other service aspects were fine.
Environment: It's not too far or too close to the MRT station. The snack shops nearby are all delicious (next to 7-Eleven). There's a 7-Eleven and FamilyMart right downstairs, so the location is pretty good. However, the soundproofing isn't great, especially being right by the road.
Value for money is decent."

"Taichung is a popular destination for motels, and the more famous ones are all of a certain standard. The room size at Domo is a very good value for the price, and the overall environment is very clean. The indoor lighting is relatively bright among motels, making it very suitable for family travel. Many motels often dim the lighting for the sake of atmosphere, but it is better to dim the brighter parts but not the darker parts. It's a pity that although the bathroom is large, the bathtub is too small. Most motels have larger bathtubs in business rooms."

HHamiboI got a discount on trip and booked a suite, it was really worth it. The room is large and well soundproofed. You can hear the sound of the TV and can connect to YouTube. The breakfast in the morning is good and diverse with different types of food. The staff was very friendly and helped me get a taxi to the airport.
The transportation is not convenient and there is nothing nearby, so I can only enjoy his bathtub, which has a TV and comes with bath salts to relax my feet after walking for several days.

AAnonymous UserLocation - I’m not sure if we just missed out on what’s nearby. But we did walk on the sides, we were searching around of what’s there to see. We didn’t see much, like we realized after walking for a few minutes that we just found the convenient store which is kinda far if that was the nearest available (or again, there could be one the other side we don’t know haha).
So after walking around, and realizing there’s nothing much to see. We already booked an Uber going to the night market.
It wasn’t that far from the HSR Station. I couldn’t remember the exact distance and travel time. But if I find it far I’d normally remember it and say it.
Service - it was an easy check-in and check-out. Though, I almost forgot to get a receipt. Had to proactively ask for one. Luckily we decided to stay for a bit after checking out, we remembered it and got to request for it.
I like how they already asked upon checking in if we need a room cleaning service. That was convenient.
The breakfast was so so (on my personal taste bud). Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t that bad.
I love the room the most! We were happy about how spacious it is. And it has an AI box which we loved. The bathtub has a tv, the shower area was spacious, the ambience of the room, hallways and lobby. The free snacks. The brand of the body wash and conditioner. The free Nescafe machine in the lobby.
I’d definitely recommend it and I’d stay here again.
(Though I still have a pending concern that I have to figure out myself, cause the amount showing in the invoice was different from the amount showing on tha app. Haven’t checked how much was the final amount taken out on my card)

In terms of service, I felt it fell a bit short compared to other hotels. It was as if the staff didn't see me at all; there was no proactive service. However, they were enthusiastic with other guests, and that disparity made me uncomfortable.
Hygene: No issues.
Facilities: The in-room facilities were quite comprehensive, and it even came with a TV.
Environment: It's a business hotel, located in a newer, rather tidy and clean district of Taichung. There are many BBQ restaurants nearby (Taichung's BBQ is famous), so remember to book in advance.

GGuest UserDifficult to find at night. There's no signage outside that says ”Mulan” and there is no front door or desk. Instead, you walk up a driveway to find the office which resembles a guard shack. You must also let them know every time you return so that they can open the garage door to your unit, allowing you access to your room door. The room was very impressive. Huge and very luxurious. It's a lot space to clean, so I was not surprised that it wasn't spotless, but it was fine. The fish (minnow) pond was very tiny and barely noticeable in the corner of the bathroom. Lights cannot be controlled individually, instead there are set ”scenes” that you must toggle through. Some features in the room were simply not functional (i.e. the Music controls on the bedside table and some of the jacuzzi controls. The breakfast was a mixture of Mcdonald's-type food and traditional ********* breakfast. During my stay, the smoke alarm in the garage was low on battery and chirped all night. I told the staff the next day and instead of replacing the battery they simply removed it, however I could still hear chirping smoke alarms in other adjacent units. Overall it is a great value for the price, despite the few inconveniences.

GGuest Useri am glad that i chose this Inn. we like everything and everyone working there. we had a good deal because our booking came with breakfast included. though the breakfast spread is not big, the lady manning the cafe is so friendly & attentive, she will make sure to refill the spread for the next guests to eat. she was standing near the entrance & helped stopped the door closing on my elderly parent! we are so grateful for her attentiveness to details. there's a family mart just besides the Inn. and when i needed to go to a doctor, the counter staff helped & directed me to a few clinics just a stone throw away from the inn. I am also very impressed by one housekeeping young lady, i told her not to make up my room but just send 6 things to my room, she remember by heart those 6 things and brought to my room exactly what i needed.

MMEI CHENFantastic! They offer an evening shuttle service to Fengjia Night Market, which saved us the hassle of finding parking. Our driver was friendly and courteous.
The room was spacious and featured a large bathtub, and most importantly, it was impeccably clean. Our kids absolutely loved it!
The late-night snacks and breakfast were also a great bonus, both very generous and delicious.
When we visited the gym in the evening, it was empty, so we had it all to ourselves.
