Nestled on the shore of South Lake (historically known as Yonghu Lake), hailed as the "Oriental Geneva," and adjacent to the north side of Dongting Lake Town, stands Yōnghú Manor. Located beside the Baling Academy, one of the most significant tourist hubs within the South Lake "Three Rings" area, this garden-style resort hotel covers over 20,000 square meters with a built area of approximately 2,100 square meters.
Developed with an investment of 20 million RMB by Yueyang Yonghu Hotel Management Co., Ltd., the manor sets its sights on global luxury resort benchmarks such as Aman and Banyan Tree. Its facilities and interiors adhere to the standards of a high-end, boutique urban resort hotel.
The manor encompasses a diverse array of culturally rich offerings, seamlessly blending nature with hospitality. These include in-house accommodations, dining, outdoor weddings, intimate bar salons, small-scale meetings and events, family-friendly entertainment, yoga, guqin (ancient zither) sessions, reading spaces, and tea ceremonies.
Committed to pioneering Yueyang's local high-end resort hotel experience, Yueyang Yonghu Hotel Management Co., Ltd. aims to create a model of boutique resort hospitality. Through the manor, the company endeavors to comprehensively promote and develop Yueyang's distinctive local culture.
This project has blossomed under the earnest support of the South Lake Management Committee, riding the wave of development in the Dongting Lake Town Tourism Resort Area. In the foreseeable future, it will continue to thrive with the encouragement of the committee's leadership. As Dongting Lake Town serves as a cornerstone of Yueyang's tourism industry, the completion of Yōnghú Manor will add another radiant star to its constellation.
"A very amazing hotel. I brought my family to stay during the Chinese New Year. I wanted to find a hotel where I could take a walk. There are not many similar hotels in Yueyang. You can also go to the Panda Museum to see pandas at this hotel.
The overall Chinese style, there is also a tea room, the decoration of the restaurant is very stylish, the lunch dishes are delicious, Hunan cuisine is a must-have meal
I stayed in a courtyard room, which also had a tatami tea room. The courtyard was quiet and comfortable.
You can wander around the hotel at will. There are some nice views and a large outdoor swimming pool, but it is not open in winter. Although some areas are still being renovated, most areas are also exquisitely designed. For example, you can drink tea in the small pavilion.
The hotel is located in the Dongting Lake Scenic Area. Walking along the lakeside, you can see exquisite scenery everywhere. It’s not too far to take a taxi to the Panda House, but you must get up early otherwise there will be many people.
Service: There were not many waiters, but their attitudes were very good. It was said that the rooms were full during the Chinese New Year. Although they were very busy, they were able to solve our problems in various ways."
