The provided toiletries were very high-end, on par with a five-star hotel, leaving my skin feeling smooth and soft after use. The hotel boasts an unobstructed, panoramic view of the river. It's also just a short walk to the Xiao Dongjiang fog viewing point, so catching the morning mist is effortless. Plus, there's ample free parking, which was a huge relief for us traveling by car."

"The homestay is a certain distance from Dongjiang Scenic Area. It may be 20 minutes walk. It is next to the Boman Hotel and the same boss as Boman. If you live in a big bed or a twin bed, it is recommended to live in Boman. We need a big bed + a single bed, so we booked here. Going out to see the lake, the scenery is very good, there is also a place to eat next to it. But there is no elevator above the second floor of the hotel, and it is not convenient to live on the first floor. Luggage needs to be taken to the second floor and then the next floor. If you want to take your luggage directly from the first floor terrace, you need others to open the door from the second floor and the first floor. Otherwise, the room locks the terrace door. "I've had this B&B saved for ages, and finally got the chance to visit Chenzhou with friends. It was super clean, and they even provided toilet seat covers. Plenty of power outlets too. They turned on the heating for us in advance, which was a really thoughtful touch. The housekeepers were all great and answered every question we had. The 'Shazhufen' (Pork Killing Noodles) for breakfast were also very fresh. The overall design of the B&B is minimalist and comfortable; you can tell the designer has good taste, vision, and put a lot of thought into it. The view from the window of this suite is also excellent; seeing the morning light was very pleasant. It's less than a five-minute taxi ride to Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area, and there are many good restaurants nearby. The only thing is, it would be even better if the projector came with a screen."

"The lady at the front desk upgraded our room and personally showed us in, explaining everything with great enthusiasm and professionalism. The view from the room was like a painting. "The room was spacious, and the public areas were definitely worth the price. The photo op spot on the second floor was also a nice touch. We drove there, and parking was very convenient. When we used the bath, they proactively asked if we needed a bath liner, and they provided real, large towels (I'm so fed up with some B&Bs and hotels that only offer disposable ones). The complimentary breakfast was tasty, and if you weren't full, you could order another bowl of noodles for free. It was raining when we left, and the front desk staff specifically came out to offer me an umbrella. "This is a fantastic homestay. The host is incredibly friendly and thoughtful, making us feel right at home the moment we arrived. The Xiaodongjiang Scenic Area is conveniently located less than a ten-minute walk to the right of the homestay entrance. Parking right outside is also safe and secure. The room was spotless. The mattress had the perfect balance of firmness and softness, and the pillows were incredibly comfortable, guaranteeing a good night's rest. As someone who is very particular about beds, I can confidently say my sleep quality was excellent, easily a 90/100. I was so comfortable that I completely forgot to take photos of the room! Additionally, I must give a special shout-out to the showerhead and water temperature. They were the best I've encountered on this entire road trip – so easy and convenient to use. I even took pictures because I plan to replace mine with a similar one when I get home! I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Chenzhou. Right next door to the homestay, there's a rice noodle breakfast shop run by a military wife. It opens early, around 5 AM every day. If you're planning to wake up at 6 AM to catch the misty morning fishing nets on the Dongjiang River, grabbing breakfast there is incredibly convenient."
