"I was traveling back to my hometown before the Chinese New Year. I searched for hotels and B&Bs online for a long time and suddenly found this one. It had all good reviews and not a single bad one. I booked it for 2 nights out of curiosity, thinking it might be a scam, and ended up staying for 5 more nights.
Talk about your feelings:
1. The environment is really great. The hotel is designed in Nordic minimalist style, which is very photogenic. It is right by the Dongjiang River. If you book the right room, you can see the foggy Dongjiang River when you wake up (I didn't see it this time because it was the wrong season, it only appears in spring and summer). There is a small courtyard and a canopy on the lawn, so you can take photos in great shape no matter how you take them.
2. The service is excellent. My butler is Dudu. I have to mention her by name. She is very patient and will give you whatever you want.
3. The hygiene and details are also good, the standard is very high, the shower gel and shampoo are good, the only thing is that the disposable toothbrush can be improved, the bristles are uncomfortable to brush

"I spent a very satisfying 11th holiday at Dongjianghu Mountain B&B. I really want to recommend this place to friends who want to find a place to be quiet and empty.
The location and environment of the homestay are the biggest highlights. The window of the room we stayed in was facing the Dongjiang Lake. Every morning, the sun would directly spill over the whole room and wake people up naturally. The feeling of opening your eyes is full of greenery and river water, which can relax in an instant. Staying for a few days, it really adjusted to a healthy work and rest early to go to bed and get up early.
The terrace of the homestay is our favorite. In the evening, I don't do anything, just sit there and blow the hair, listen to the insects, watch the sky change a little bit until the moon comes out. This luxury of ”doing nothing” is easy to achieve here.
Life is also very convenient. You can go to the riverside for a walk, find a bowl of authentic pig powder in the morning, and buy some fruit back, and the rhythm slows down. The service staff of the hotel is very natural, and responds quickly when needed, but usually does not disturb you, giving us enough private space.

"The garden-view room we booked is small but beautiful. Pros: The B&B is quite nice, right on the banks of the Xiaodongjiang River and close to the scenic area. It's very quiet, and the riverfront is right outside the hotel, making for a pleasant evening stroll. The hotel is newly decorated, and the cleanliness is excellent. The amenities are all high-end, including a washing machine and dryer. The front desk lady was also very helpful. A downside: The quilt was incredibly thick, which prevented me from getting a good night's sleep. Based on my usual sleeping temperature, I initially set the temperature to 24°C, but was woken by the heat. Then I pushed it to 22°C, which woke me up again. The location is fantastic, right at the entrance to the Dongjiang Lake scenic area, just a short walk away. It's super convenient, and there are many restaurants nearby. Stepping out of the courtyard, you're right by the river. Taking a stroll along the river in the evening and enjoying the night view is incredibly relaxing.
The service here is excellent. The owner is a handsome guy who's very patient in answering any questions about sightseeing, and he doesn't just push his own recommendations; he'll suggest other suitable options too. He's a really great person. Standard check-out is at 12 PM, but when we returned from our trip to Xiao Dongjiang, our child had fallen asleep, and he kindly extended our check-out until around 2 PM. There were tangerines and bananas available; I wasn't sure if they were complimentary, but the owner offered some to our child, who said they were very sweet and delicious. All in all, I'm very satisfied and grateful. It was a very pleasant stay!
