"Honestly, there's not much to say, but for starters, the hotel is right on the roadside. Secondly, the door doesn't have a double lock, which made me feel a bit uneasy. I didn't sleep particularly well that night. However, the hotel's views and the price were quite good. It's a local four-star establishment."

"We wanted an overnight before flying from Alicante. The staff in the IBIS were great and no complaints about them 👍🏾 Cheap very basic accomodation in IBIS Budget although clean. Shower room curtain didn't reach floor so the whole floor of room was wet. Shower handle wall bracket did not allow tilting, so water only sprayed across to curtain and much too high up for us (under 6ft tall). Shower room sliding door was not straight and partially hanging off - no floor restraint so could be pushed away from its frame (it wobbled to and from the wall). Poor soundproofing so others closing doors was quite loud. Dogs barking after midnight and again very early morning (approx 6am). Overall, a cheap night but we probably won't use one again."

The hotel itself felt modern, clean and functional. Check-in was straightforward, and the reception staff were friendly and efficient. My room was simple but comfortable, with a good bed, a decent bathroom and plenty of space for luggage. It wasn’t luxurious, but it was perfectly adequate for a short overnight stay, especially if you’re just passing through Alicante. I didn’t take breakfast at the hotel, so I can’t comment on the food offering, but there are local cafés and convenience stores nearby if you prefer to eat out. The area around the hotel also feels safe and easy to navigate, which is important if you’re arriving or leaving at unusual hours. Overall, I would recommend Travelodge Alicante Puerto if you’re looking for affordable, reliable accommodation in Alicante and don’t mind being a little outside the main tourist zone. It’s particularly good for one-night stays, early flights, or budget-conscious travellers who want comfort without paying Old Town prices."

"The perfect location, it’s right next the Alicante Market. Staff are very friendly! My room was perfect and I highly recommend it. The only small issue was that the walls were very thins but besides I enjoyed my stay!"

We were very disappointed with the takeaway breakfast we ordered on the morning of our departure. We had specified a vegetarian option, but we received a ham sandwich, a can of pâté, and a can of tuna 🤣🤣🤣 Yes, tuna, pâté, and ham! When you ask for a vegetarian breakfast, you're bound to lose it!"

"The amenities are good and the staff friendly and ready to help. The only thing disappointing was the breakfast. They serve Spanish omelette that is frozen and then cooked, it's terrible, no taste, it's it's like eating a wet sponge. Same for the scramble eggs."
