"Actually the hotel is good, I just had a bad experience the first time I stayed here, I ordered a romantic dinner directly from the CP of this hotel, I made sure it was private and didn't share with other people. But the reality is ZONK. On the day I checked in, I wasn't told that there was a single organ that wanted to sing near the pool. He was told how many hours it had been. Seriously, I paid a lot of money and it ended up being a rush, where lots of people looked at it, the gift was as good as it was, as if it had only been prepared that day, even though I had already booked a ROMANTIC DINNER A LONG DAY AWAY. It's not bad for the price of 1 million but if the service is like that 😥 starting at 19.00 - 21.00 he said, but tbtb speed up at 17.00-19.00 hadeh. If I don't say I don't accept it, I'll complain about having dinner at 17.00 even though I previously said 19.00. But apart from that, okay, it's a good thing to sell sea views. Please improve the service. I'm just disappointed that what should have been a romantic dinner moment, instead became a venue for people to look at, want to take photos and lots of people passing by. The dinner only lasted 1 hour and instead we asked to take the rest to our room. It would be a shame if you had to pay 1 million like that"

"The room was clean and very comfortable, and the location was super strategic. The customer service was also great. The only downsides were that it's still under construction and the AC wasn't quite cold enough for my liking, but overall it was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Karimun. Good job!"

"Beautiful childfriendly hotel! Initially it seemed that earlier negative reviews were confirmed especially in the area of being understaffed: our room wasn't ready in time probably mainly because of not enough staff. Later though we had very good experience with how the room (we stayed in a family cottage) was cleaned daily. 1. The location is really excellent: close to the sea, with a big swimming pool, close to the harbour and walking distance to the village centre with shops & restaurants. 2. So the cleanliness only get 3 of 5 because of what mentioned before. 3. Service gets 5 as we found that the staff was very helpful. At breakfast we could order omelet and scrambled eggs (not part of the buffet) and we could order some extra other specifics that was more fit to our Western food wishes (pancakes without green food colouring!! ;). Friends that came over were initially asked to leave the pool but when we explained that we assumed they could stay for a 50K fee pp (like we've seen other hotels deal with this), they allowed us. A broken lamp was fixed immediately upon arrival. When we asked for extra toilet paper or shampoo they would bring it immediately. When we asked where we could buy bread for lunch for our kids one of the staff got 2 loaves of bread for us and they didn't charge us extra for that! Breakfast was served earlier upon request (earlier than 6.30) since the ferry left early. 4. Facilities 4 out of 5: fairly new, straight forward, practical. Only some broken things like tiles here and there that were broken and at reception, the ceiling had a hugh hole. So in general, we found this a very very good hotel where the staff made our stay very pleasant, we would like to come back one day!"

"This hotel has it's own little beach and a jetty over the clear waters. The island is very hilly and with only one road surrounding the National Park in the centre, the hotel is on the edge of town. Only negatives are that due to the rustic construction, sound carries from the living areas downstairs and from other rooms very easily so suggest earplugs if a light sleeper and a sleep mask as the curtains and front door allows light to flood in. Fani on reception is such a star... even helping us when my hired scooter got a flat tyre. Trips to other islands within Karimunjawa national Park are easily available and the snorkeling is wonderful. Great place for a true off the beaten path paradise escape. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues due to being built into the hillside though. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended"

"Omah Alchy Cottages was, without question, the highlight of our trip to Karimunjawa Island. Everything about this place was exceptional. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, providing the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the island. What truly sets Omah Alchy apart, however, is its breathtaking location. Step outside your bungalow and you're right by the sea. The property has its own jetty stretching out over the water, which became our favorite spot every evening to watch the most spectacular sunsets. Seeing the sun sink into the horizon over the calm sea was simply unforgettable. As an added bonus, guests can use the free canoes to paddle out on the water and enjoy the beautiful surroundings from a different perspective. It's the kind of place where you can completely switch off and appreciate the natural beauty of Karimunjawa. If you're visiting Karimunjawa Island, do yourself a favor and stay here. Omah Alchy Cottages offers an incredible combination of stunning scenery, fantastic accommodation, and genuinely wonderful hospitality. We would return in a heartbeat."

"This homestay is located near to the centre. Easy access to everything. The host is friendly and check in and check out is easy. The place is a bit dusty because it’s new and there is renovation going on. But overall worth the price"
