"As a memeber of Accor Hotels, I book mercure hotels in Jakartha and other countries generally. Here I stayed 2 nights in this Grand Mecure , Yog Yakartha. Firstly, this hotel is super beautiful and decorated, giving value to culture and heritage signages. Every where hotel artefacts matching with heritage Borobudur, prambanan.
Staff is very pleasant, polite, and always with a good smile, helpful, and supportive. Rooms are excellent. Special words should be placed here about breakfast . You can have multiple choices. Inluding Western, eastern, and traditional Indonesian foods and drinks. I think best break fast choices I have ever seen so far.
Restaurant staff also very nice. Bar staff memeber also very good. She somehow managed to provide food and drinks at the last moment last night. Not only that, the security team is also pleasant and helpful. Even though a bit far from Malioboro Street, staying here is fully worth it."

"The service was excellent, the staffs fulfilled all our requests promptly and professionally. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was decent, though it would be even better with more variety. Laundry service is available at an extra charge, but the ironing quality was good and free hangers were provided. "Ms. Indah & Ms. Bertha the receptionist who helped during check-in process also Mr. Isdiono the security was very kind, friendly, and helpful. The other hotel staffs I've met such as the chef, room boy, and the office worker also very friendly and helpful. As this hotel has a very large area, sometimes you may ask direction to the hotel staff. This hotel is new so the room condition is super good, comfortable, and clean. The pillow was very big, soft, and comfy. Each non-smoking guest room features a flat-screen HDTV, coffee/ tea maker, mini-refrigerator, desk, sleeper sofa, safe, slippers, robes, bath products, hair dryer, bottled water, and a very fast wi-fi connection. "From the front desk to security, the staff's service attitude was excellent, and the environment was great with views of Mount Merapi 🌋 – excellent value! I just wish the breakfast options would change; I stayed for four days and the breakfast was almost identical each day, so I got tired of it. Everything else was fantastic, and I'd definitely come back."

MMeyriscaI really wanted to stay here after seeing it on TikTok 🤣. And it was perfect because they had a triple room. I'm very satisfied; we slept comfortably, and both the room and bathroom were clean. Oh, and the triple room still had plenty of space for our luggage. The rooftop is great, perfect for enjoying the sunset. At night, you can hang out there, eat, drink, and enjoy the open sky. Don't forget to book on Trip.com! It's easy to book, and the prices are usually the cheapest compared to other sites.

GGuest UserA good hotel in a good location that’s got a weak spot, which is its food. We had a double room that was a great size with a very big bed furnished with comfortable linen. The a/c worked well and was relatively quiet. There was in room tea and coffee and bottled water.
We ate at the hotel twice, and declined breakfast after looking to see what was available. For breakfast, while we were around 40 minutes from the end of service the food looked meagre and unappetising. There was the opportunity to have omelettes etc, but we decided against it.
We ate in the rooftop restaurant, ordering spaghetti bolognese, chicken wings, spring rolls and a pizza. The food took a while to arrive and when it did it all came at once. All of the food was tepid at best and seemed as if it had been waiting to be collected and brought from the ground floor to the top floor. The bolognese was acceptable with the pasta being cooked al dente. The spring rolls had gone soggy and the wings, being just warm, were cooked ok but the sauce they were covered in was sickly sweet. The pizza was not cooked. The toppings appeared to be cooked but the base was raw. The dough was uncooked and inedible. We pointed this out and we were told it could be cooked further. We decided that probably wouldn’t improve it much. The staff offered a replacement, but again we decided that it would take too long and asked for it to be taken off the bill.
The second time we ate at the hotel we used the ground floor restaurant. Once again the food was disappointing. The oxtail soups contained beef that was not tender but tough, although the clear broth was tasty. The pasta of beef Alfredo, which was advertised as containing beef, mushrooms, etc was served with just a few pieces of what looked like smoked beef in a claggy sauce. Again, it appeared as if the meal had been sitting on the counter waiting for the waiters to deliver it to the table and had lost its heat. The fruit salad platter and banana fritters were very good.
Service at the hotel, from reception staff through to housekeeping was very good.
Overall, I’d stay again by I would avoid the restaurants.

However, the bathroom was a bit dirty, with mold and black spots in the corners. The small fridge also didn’t work(not cooling) and seemed very dirty inside, with noticeable black spots.(We forget to take a picture of it)
Breakfast was kinda fine, but dinner at the restaurant was a bit disappointing. We ordered the fried squid dish, but it still had the membrane attached, which made it tough and inedible.
Plus point 👉 👉 The staff are all very friendly and helpful!!

These things should be checked before guests arrive. As for the swimming pool, I wouldn't recommend it; the water had too much chlorine, which made it very uncomfortable to swim in.

The bedsheets, pillowcases, and towels in the room felt old and worn, which detracted from the overall comfort of the stay. For the price, I expected higher-quality linens.
However, the breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The selection was varied, the ingredients were fresh, and the food tasted great. It was definitely the highlight of the stay.
Overall, if the hotel were to upgrade its room amenities, it would offer much better value for the price.
