The concierge service was outstanding. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect for a trip to Yangzhou; it feels like Daming Temple, Slender West Lake, morning tea, the Ancient City Park, and Yangzhou Banquet are all part of the hotel's amenities. The best part? Soaking in the hot springs after a long day of sightseeing is the most anticipated moment of the trip. We loved it so much that we immediately extended our stay for another night. Highly recommended! For a family of three, getting this level of service, scenery, and amenities for just 200 per person is truly excellent value. It's definitely our top choice for visiting Yangzhou with kids."

"One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, especially for the price. Staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Our room was spacious, and everything inside our room were disinfected and vacuumed sealed. The gym was fully equipped with a nice yoga room. The staff even opened the gym for me when I needed to use it at 5AM outside their normal operating hours. Breakfast was superb. You can taste the quality of the food, especially the fresh brewed coffee and homemade yogurt. The only downside was limited amount of laundry machines, but the pros outweighed the con for sure."

"The hotel is fantastic. This time, I chose to take the high-speed train to Yangzhou, and I'm glad I didn't drive, as parking would probably have been inconvenient. Ambiance: The hotel's ambiance is truly exceptional, living up to its 'You Xiong' name. It perfectly blends garden aesthetics with modern style. Service: The butler service was superb! They even delivered takeout and breakfast right to my door, hahahahahaha, yes! It was a truly premium experience. If you often feel stressed out, you should definitely come and stay here. The breakfast was delicious. I booked the courtyard loft this time. It would have been even better if the TV was upstairs, so I could lie down and watch it. One minor drawback is that the soundproofing isn't great. Anyway, next time I'm here, I'll definitely choose this hotel again, hahahahaha."

We booked a king-sized bed room for two, but were initially given a family room. After discussing it, they said they'd switch us to a king room, and the front desk explicitly confirmed it would be a king bed this time. Yet, when we got up to the room, it was still a family room. On the second day, after checking out, I realized I left a piece of clothing in the hotel, and they contacted me about it. I told them I'd pick it up on my way to the high-speed rail station, and they confirmed it would be held at the front desk for me. But when I arrived, it hadn't even been brought down yet, and I had to wait again. Since I was rushing for my train, I had no choice but to have them mail it to me. For a newly opened hotel, their services really need to catch up."

We added our concierge, Xiao Z, on WeChat, and any requests we had were answered immediately, which made our trip much more convenient! The hotel's location is also excellent for getting around, with a bus stop just 100m from the entrance. It's super easy to get to Slender West Lake, Dongguan Street, the Grand Canal Museum, Vientiane City, and Impression City. This time, we opted not to have breakfast at the hotel, as there are so many fantastic local eateries nearby offering regional specialties. "The room is quite old, especially the bathroom facilities. The soundproofing is also very poor; you can hear every door opening and closing down the entire hallway. Some rooms have smart toilets, but the level of automation is slightly awkward; it closes automatically and makes a beeping sound, which is a bit startling. It's kind of semi-automatic. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Service quality: Warm and attentive, responsive, and able to provide personalized service. Special mention goes to Hanfu (traditional Han clothing), which can be worn for photos 😊. Dining experience: Breakfast mainly consists of set meals from Yechun Teahouse featuring Yangzhou specialties (such as Wudingbao and Tanggansi), which have a very good reputation. The cultural atmosphere is rich, with even a Go board game (😂 Neo-Chinese design, elegant room names). It was a bit of a shame that there was no coffee. I booked the hotel because I saw in the reviews that they served coffee in the lobby every day, but they only had Pu'er tea and green tea, which is really inconvenient for coffee lovers 😥. Because of the lack of coffee, I checked out a day early and moved to the Yangzhou State Guest House instead 😂"
