"I can honestly say this hotel was the biggest surprise for me in all of Yangzhou. Out of all the hotels I've stayed in, this one offered the most outstanding service! It's not just the 'Haidilao of hotels,' it's more like the 'Pang Dong Lai of hotels' – truly sincere, with great accommodations and pretty good food too. It's a shame I only stayed one night; because of this hotel, I definitely want to visit Yangzhou again! I didn't arrive until after 2 AM last night, but the security guard at the entrance had a smile on his face the entire time and even jogged to help. These little details really hit home. He helped with our luggage, and the front desk lady, seeing there were three of us, even gave us an extra breakfast – truly amazing! They also left some small fruits. Out of all the hotels I've stayed in, only this one left such a deep impression."

"We were a family of three, and I specifically chose a room with a 1.5-meter bed plus a slightly smaller one, which made for a very spacious sleep. The pillows were a bit high; it would have been even better if there were options for pillows of different heights. Overall, the hotel's recreational environment is great for kids, with animal feeding and an outdoor swimming pool. In the evening, we went to the hot springs, which had many pools and a nice ambiance, although the fish spa, which the kids loved most, cost extra. If you want to visit Slender West Lake, it's very convenient from here. We also drove a short distance to a highly recommended restaurant online called Da Mao. If you're traveling with children and just want to enjoy the hotel and its surroundings, it's a relaxing choice."

"There were some issues when I extended my stay, which wasted quite a bit of time, but they were eventually resolved. The professionalism and service attitude of the front desk staff varied quite a bit. I reported a safety issue with the elevator three times before someone actually paid attention. Luckily, there was a professional manager on duty. The lobby and restrooms seem to have been recently renovated, but the carpets on each floor are quite old and need air freshener to mask the smell. Honestly, though, the overall stay was good. The room cleaning met standards, and the housekeeping and restaurant staff were polite and respectful to all guests. Drinking water was delivered promptly. The sausages, bacon, and Yangzhou fried rice at breakfast seemed to be made with sub-par ingredients and had a noticeable additive taste. However, the plain noodle stand and douhua (tofu pudding) used genuine ingredients and were quite good. The watermelon was also fresh, so no worries about getting sick. B1 seems to be outsourced; its environment and the professionalism of its staff currently don't meet Marriott's standards. Since they do bring in guests, I hope they can work together to improve."

"Honestly, the service staff were all excellent and went out of their way to help with anything I needed. However, the hotel facilities were rather basic.
I was kindly given a large room, but the details didn't hold up to scrutiny. The carpet was very dirty; I was puzzled when I entered, but was told it was the carpet's natural color. :) The extra seating area was basically useless, the sofa cushions were very uncomfortable, and the bedding wasn't very good quality either—all just passable. I'm not particularly picky, and I mainly went there for the hot springs, which were quite nice and comfortable. The air conditioner in the room was extremely noisy; even with earplugs, it was still a bit noisy, and the room was still very hot even at 19 degrees Celsius.
We didn't eat breakfast, neither the person nor the dog, because we didn't like it. The à la carte menu was only one page long, with very few dishes, and the restaurant was very deserted. It was difficult to find good takeout options nearby, not even a cup of coffee. The hotel's coffee was also bad.
Overall, it felt more like a guesthouse than a standard hotel. However, the staff were indeed very responsive.
Yangzhou is a truly wonderful city, and the people of Yangzhou are also very kind and gentle. Next time I visit, I will definitely stay in the city center."

"What a surprise, upgraded to a business room! It's convenient to take the kids to the Grand Canal Museum. The hotel is very new, modernly decorated, and equipped with a swimming pool. The kids had a lot of fun~ I got up early in the morning and took a walk around the Peninsula Park in the north. It's a comfortable four-kilometer range! Although the surrounding area is close to the viaduct, you can't hear the noise inside, it's still warm and comfortable!
The breakfast category is a little less, and it's not enough for a picky kid... There is no other meat except grilled chicken sausage, which is a bit embarrassing~
The wonton is good, the meat buns and three-diced buns are also delicious. In short, it's a good choice, and there are surprises. I'm really happy!"

Guest UserVery good location! On the edge of Guanyin Mountain and Daming Temple. It happened that this trip met the annual ”6·19” Guanyin Shanxiang Club, which has continued from the Ming Dynasty to the present day, and it really deserves its name. 🫶
The crowd was rough, but the scene was in order. Mom and Dad got up at three o'clock to burn incense and pray. We went there early in the morning. Very good place.

Guest UserThe front desk staff were incredibly warm and thoughtful. As soon as we arrived, they offered us hot tea, gave us a local travel guide, and presented us with welcome fruits and snacks.
The room was very spacious, split into two sections, which was perfect for traveling with kids. All the appliances were smart and voice-controlled, which was very convenient. The desk even had a gaming chair, which was super comfortable. The bathroom was also smart. The toiletries were excellent, and the towels and bath towels were soft and clean. Even the slippers were thick and not those flimsy paper ones. The hotel also offers laundry facilities, which is a huge plus.
The service attitude was fantastic. They quickly brought us extra blankets and cups when we requested them.
Next time we visit Yangzhou, we'll definitely be staying at this hotel again!

PowaluodichideguoFirst, the hotel environment: Excellent location, adjacent to the Slender West Lake scenic area, close to attractions such as Daming Temple and Geyuan Garden, in a quiet surrounding environment.
Hotel facilities: Relatively new and complete facilities, including a children's playground and gym. Rooms are spacious and exquisitely designed. Some rooms have smart toilets, but the level of automation is slightly awkward; it closes automatically and makes a beeping sound, which is a bit startling. It's kind of semi-automatic.
Cleanliness: Clean and tidy.
Service quality: Warm and attentive, responsive, and able to provide personalized service. Special mention goes to Hanfu (traditional Han clothing), which can be worn for photos 😊.
Dining experience: Breakfast mainly consists of set meals from Yechun Teahouse featuring Yangzhou specialties (such as Wudingbao and Tanggansi), which have a very good reputation.
The cultural atmosphere is rich, with even a Go board game (😂 Neo-Chinese design, elegant room names).
It was a bit of a shame that there was no coffee. I booked the hotel because I saw in the reviews that they served coffee in the lobby every day, but they only had Pu'er tea and green tea, which is really inconvenient for coffee lovers 😥. Because of the lack of coffee, I checked out a day early and moved to the Yangzhou State Guest House instead 😂

Guest UserThe room was clean and tidy, with all the basics. The breakfast was also basic and quite good for a casual meal. The price with meals included was excellent value for money. The bedding was also very good, and everyone's feedback was quite positive.
During our stay, there was a minor elevator incident, but the hotel responded quickly, which I commend, but I still suggest resolving the alarm button issue.
Thank you so much for the friendly recommendations from the restaurants. Both the market and the dim sum restaurant were excellent. I'd also like to thank Mr. Tang, Mr. Zhang, and the kitchen lady for their thoughtfulness. I bought Gaoyou prawns and boiled them for takeout. The lady even added scallions and ginger. Thank you so much! I'll stay here again next time. Parking is also very convenient for those traveling by car.

Guest UserIt was almost midnight when we checked in. The man in a white shirt at the front desk was very nice and polite. He saw that we were traveling with our children and gave us a tourist map to remind us to book attractions in advance. After we checked in, the cleaning lady was also very nice. She gave us fruits and laundry detergent every day. There were also disposable bathtub covers in the bathroom. Thank you very much. The room was cleaned and tidy every day. When we left very early, we met the man at the front desk again. He saw that we had too much luggage and helped us move the luggage. Thank you very much. The overall stay experience was very good. The water in the hotel is also a highlight. The water temperature and water pressure are very good.

Guest UserThe experience of staying at Gaoyou Shenjushan Hot Spring Hotel is superb! The Dragon Boat Festival is specially brought to relax from Shanghai. The hotel is built on Shenju Mountain. The surrounding area is quiet and quiet, and the air is particularly good. The rooms are spacious and bright, clean, the bedding is soft, the independent balcony is green, and the living is very relaxing.
