Most visitors seemed to be locals, which actually gave the place a more authentic vibe. But mostly locals are shy to communicate with expats. The staff were polite and helpful throughout, and amenities like AC, TV, hot water, and two free bottled waters daily covered all the basics. Overall, a solid choice for anyone wanting comfort, convenience, and a chance to meet fellow travelers. Would definitely book again!

The owner is a very sexy Chinese lady who cooks in the morning and is very kind to lend me some Fengyoujing. The clerk is also a very friendly girl. There are also naughty kittens in the yard looking for food. It is also very safe to stay here.

So even though it's a shared area, you still feel like you have privacy. It's perfect for solo travelers, backpackers, digital nomads, and even comfortable for a girls' trip with your besties. What I loved most, of course, is the location. Just a few minutes' walk and you're right on Malioboro Street. Whether you're looking for late-night street food, souvenirs, hanging out at an angkringan (street food stall), or just soaking in the unique Jogja atmosphere, everything is super close. No need to worry about parking or extra transportation costs. The common area is also comfortable for relaxing or getting some work done. The WiFi is strong, the staff are friendly, and the check-in process is seamless. So from the moment I arrived until check-out, everything felt effortless. In my opinion, a comfortable stay doesn't always have to be expensive these days. The important thing is a clean place, a strategic location, complete facilities, and a place where you can rest peacefully after a full day of exploring Jogja. I had a wonderful experience staying here with my family. Everything from the location to the facilities was top-notch, but a few things really stood out: The Food: The breakfast spread was impressive. As someone looking for Halal options, I was very pleased. The beef soup was absolutely delicious and a must-try! They even had a fun touch with popcorn on the breakfast menu, which was a hit. The Room: One of the best parts was the shower—the water pressure was incredibly strong, making for a very refreshing start to the day. The Staff: I am truly impressed by the service. The staff were professional, kind, and went out of their way to help us. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yogyakarta. We will definitely be back!

Sempat agak worry karena beberapa review, but I had great nights stay in Uniq. I chose deluxe room, it has bigger space jadi enak bisa buat sholat di kamar dan ga ribet kalo bawa koper. Sabun shampoo 2 in 1 tapi ga ada masalah dan aromanya harum. Staffs are nice dari mulai di parkiran sama proses checkin. All is well!
