"We were able to book the hotel's free shuttle service in advance. Even though we arrived at the Lake Toya bus station ten minutes later than scheduled and couldn't call the hotel to inform them, the shuttle driver was still waiting for us at the station. As we weren't driving, we were incredibly touched by this gesture! The front desk staff were also very friendly, offering a welcome drink during check-in. Although the hotel isn't large, it has abundant facilities. On the first floor, there are board games and snacks, and on the second floor, free alcoholic beverages and coffee, and even billiards, arcade games, and karaoke! The room facilities didn't disappoint either; the room looked exactly like the photos, and we could see Lake Toya just by opening the window. There was even a hand-drip coffee setup in the room, and the fridge offered free bottled water and shiso soda (which was delicious!). Dinner was just the right portion, a very exquisite Japanese meal where you could taste the freshness of the ingredients. For breakfast, there was a choice between Japanese and Western; we chose Japanese. The Japanese breakfast was quite substantial and delicious, and even the tableware used was very thoughtful. The public bath and shared bathroom facilities were also very clean, and there was a small sauna room. The hair dryer provided was also excellent!"

"The room was smaller than expected and a bit dated, but it had everything we needed. The onsen (hot spring) was fantastic, especially the outdoor one where snowflakes were falling – truly perfect! Breakfast and dinner were very rich and plentiful. Even though there were many people, it wasn't chaotic; we only had to queue for a short while. The dining experience was excellent. As for transportation, the hotel was a bit far from the bus stop on arrival, which was a little inconvenient with the snow. However, on the way back, it was super convenient as the bus stop was right across from the hotel. Overall, I recommend it..."

"This hotel is right next to Lake Toya. We booked an East-facing Japanese-style room and were very happy with it. The window offered a direct view of Mount Yotei, and the scenery was absolutely stunning on clear days. The tatami mats were super comfortable for sleeping, and staff came by daily to make up the futons. While the hotel's onsen (hot spring) doesn't have many pools, the rooftop bath boasts incredible views, and the ground-floor outdoor bath offers a beautiful snowy landscape. The men's and women's baths rotate daily at specific times. We also appreciated that someone came with a testing device every day to check the water quality, which was very reassuring. During our stay, we happened to catch the winter fireworks festival. Watching the fireworks from the lakeside was just as amazing as watching them from our room! They went off promptly at 8:30 PM for 10 minutes every night for three consecutive days – it was incredibly romantic. The hotel breakfast was very generous. The onigiri (rice balls), chazuke (rice with tea), milk, and salmon were daily must-haves. The restaurant also had a spectacular view. Getting around from the hotel was very convenient. Turn right out the door and a 2-minute walk takes you to the bus stop. You can book tickets online, and the bus connects to various attractions. We used this bus to go to the ranch, the observation deck to see Mount Yotei, Snow World for snowmobiling, and Rusutsu for skiing. Just be prepared for potential bus delays."

"Lake facing.  Nice and serene view.  Rather old and dated.  Needs a refurbishment.  We had tatami mat room which takes a bit of getting used to for the tatami smell.  Big room. But very small toilet.  Could have made the toilet bigger and ditch the useless storage cupboard next to the door.  Beds need to be upgraded.  Old and mattress far too thin. Breakfast and dinner were so-so.  Only plus points are lake facing and cleanliness is acceptable.  Free carpark next to hotel."

"The hotel is dated but clean. The staff are friendly and attentive. They ran out to guide me to park the car. As there are not many eateries at night, the dinner and breakfast option is a good choice for Lake Toya hotels. The dining hall has limited capacity, so some guests will dine in their rooms (same menu). If you are not picky about what they serve, then this dining style will work for you. I feel the portion was balanced and caloric-appropriate as I tend to overeat. Overall, recommended."

"First, my apologies to the hotel! Their service was excellent. I didn't see anyone in the bathing area when I entered, so I took some photos. I wanted to share these with anyone considering staying here, so they could see the environment in detail. The hotel is directly opposite Mount Yotei, offering fantastic views. The room came equipped with bath towels, hand towels, bathrobes, and a razor. Before entering the hot spring pool, you'll need to bring your toiletries and room key. You can place your belongings in a basket before entering the hot spring. A hot spring tax of 300 JPY is collected before check-in. The washing machines are free to use, but laundry detergent is not provided. You'll need to buy it outside or bring your own. The room shows some signs of age, which makes it perfect for nostalgic enthusiasts! It has both air conditioning and a radiator. The view from the window is absolutely beautiful, making it a great spot to sit by the bed and relax. Overall, it's pretty good."

"This price and get an onsen is really good. The room is good and very big. The one I booked for a single person was only 2,000 baht per night and added breakfast for another 2,700 baht. The onsen will switch between male and female zones in the morning and evening so that you can soak in both zones. It's good but I didn't wake up in time. The morning session closes at 7:30 😆😆😆 So I got a small room. The staff provided good service and seemed familiar with foreigners."

"The moment I entered the room, I was really amazed. The surface of Lake Toya was so beautiful. The tranquil lake surface was rippling with breeze from time to time, forming deep and shallow shadows on the lake surface. Take the Dolan bus from Sapporo, there is a stop at the door of the hotel, Park-mae Station, and it is only a 12-minute walk from the next stop, Toya Onsen Station. From the intersection opposite the hotel, zigzag up the mountain to reach the Konpira crater. It takes about 50 minutes to walk one way. It is a two-way two-lane asphalt road with a wide pedestrian walkway. It is safe to walk up. And you can see Lake Toya from a high place. When you reach the top of the mountain, there is a panoramic observation deck of Lake Toya on one side and a crater of Konpira on the other side. It is not as spectacular as the crater of Changbai Mountain, but it is easy to reach and the view is clear. The only drawback of the hotel is that the food is a bit ordinary, maybe it is due to the lack of staff. But the location of the hotel is very close to the lake and the transportation is convenient."

NN YipThis is a family trip for two adults and two kids. And we stayed in the hotel for 7 nights, bfast and dinner included. It's apparent in the booking that we will have kids in the stay, and yet either Trip.com/hotel charged us meals for 4 adults for the entire trip. We ended up overpaying A LOT and wasting A LOT of food because the kids couldn't finish the set meal. Yet the hotel refused to adjust / refund. This was a serious mistake made by Trip.com / hotel. The hotel provided shuttle bus to the ski resort. Good that there was early shuttle bus around 815am BUT the return shuttle was way too early (4pm) for any serious skiers. The hotel should offer more options. There was no gym in the hotel and difficult to do some proper full-body exercise. Onsen set up was nice and clean and tidy. The public onsen wasn't used much so it ended up a big private onsen for us. We like the traditional Japanese cusine but very disappointed that the chef provided limited changes on the menu during our 7 nights of stay. We spent roughly same number of nights elsewhere in Niseko and the design of their menu was way better. Staff in general was very helpful and friendly and some of them spoke English and Chinese. The hotel was short of staff IMO. I could see them running around in the hotel. The ski equipment room could be equipped with better facility to dry ski boots and gloves. Shuttle bus was only offered to Niseko but not Kutchan station which was in fact not too far away anyway. The room was clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel was great too. It's 10mins from the Niseko station and 5mins from annupuri ski run.

GGuest UserI had really high expectations for the Noji-Kaze Hotel, especially considering the price tag of 4-5000 a night, with a 50 sqm suite going for over 6500. Plus, Ctrip listed it as one of Asia's top 100 onsen hotels, so I booked it without a second thought. The hotel's public areas are indeed nice; the lobby is spacious, and the breakfast and dinner buffets offer a great variety of vegetables. The staff are generally competent, and basic English communication was possible. However, stepping into the room was a huge disappointment. The bedding and furniture must be at least 20 years old. Not only are they dated, but they're also poorly maintained, comparable to what you'd find in a 400-500 RMB hotel in China. What's even more outrageous for an ”Asia's Top 100 Onsen Hotel” is that the bath on the 9th floor is only a few dozen square meters. The visibility was less than two meters due to dim lighting and heavy steam. Two-thirds of the area was completely obscured. I could only find a corner with slightly better lighting and soaked for 20 minutes before leaving. It's hard to imagine how dangerous it would be for elderly people or children to bathe there. The room I stayed in on the second day was a 50 sqm suite. The furnishings were still old, and the layout felt impractical, a relic of an older era. The private bath for the second day's suite was on the second floor, also a mere 20 square meters. This is a far cry from what I'd expect from an ”Asia's Top 100 Onsen Hotel.” It's also perplexing that such an expensive hotel doesn't even have a gym. And despite mentions of airport shuttle service, I didn't see any available. Overall, this hotel is not good value for money. Proceed with caution. I also hope Ctrip's platform conducts more in-depth investigations.

GGuest UserOverall, we were very satisfied with our stay at Hilton Hotel Village for this ski trip. The location is extremely convenient — especially for beginners. Being able to step right outside the hotel and start skiing was simply unbeatable. Equipment rental, ski storage, shuttle buses, and all related facilities were very well organized, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. In the evenings, there was live music, which added a nice atmosphere to the stay. One of the highlights I truly miss is the outdoor onsen. The scenery it faces is absolutely breathtaking and incredibly relaxing — perfect for relieving all the fatigue after a full day of skiing. The only minor downside was that a four-person room with four single beds felt a bit cramped. That said, we were still able to manage our luggage arrangements in the end. Since most of our time was spent outdoors skiing and we mainly used the room just for sleeping at night, it was acceptable as long as you are mentally prepared for the limited space. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay and a great choice for a ski holiday.

GGuest UserGreat location, close to the slopes and the ski school. The rooms are small, facilities are old, service is average, food is mediocre, and activities are boring. It's only suitable for those who are solely focused on skiing from dawn till dusk. If you're with family and looking for a resort-like vacation, skip this one; it's not worth the price.

VViktoriia KWe had a wonderful stay at Niseko Grand Hotel! My friend and I truly enjoyed our time there. One of the highlights was definitely the hotel's own hot springs — absolutely amazing. There are both female-only and mixed-gender areas, which was a great option to have. The staff was incredibly friendly and always eager to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality really made us feel welcome. In fact, staying here felt more like being at a countryside residence than at a hotel — warm, peaceful, and cozy, just like home. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Niseko — and we hope we will! We stayed in a traditional Japanese-style room, which made the experience even more special. Yukata and yuami (bathing suit) were also provided. The hotel also offers free shuttle buses to the ski slopes regularly, which made it super convenient for us to enjoy the mountains. On the day of our departure, the hotel’s driver kindly took us to the nearest train station. Another standout was the hotel’s restaurant. Breakfast was included in our stay, and we also chose to have dinner there a few times. Every dish we tried was delicious and beautifully prepared. The buffet offered a wide variety of both Asian and Western cuisine, and the selection was impressive for both breakfast and dinner. We also tried eating out at a couple of other restaurants in Niseko, but we both agreed that the hotel’s restaurant was by far the best for us. Highly recommend this place!

MMattSchmattSuper apartment in great location. 2 large bedrooms with great storage, 2 good sized baths, large living room with cooking area and all you would need for self-catering for a family. Seicomart and Lawson just a short walk away. Convenient with parking in the basement. Everything in great condition and well cleaned. Forgot a few things in the fridge and the staff collected it and out it in the lobby fridge for us to pick up later, great service thank you! Will definitely have this place high on the list for next visit to Hirafu 👍🏼

WwaynethepaintTrip.com has always been my go to for travel bookings. Similarly this time to Niseko, decided to extend for an additional week and MyEcolodge came up in the search. I have to mention the checkin was seamless, but what I thought i booked, vastly differ from what was allocated for me. I thought what i booked was a room to myself however it turns out as a shared room. Its not a big deal but the feeling of misinterpretation leaves an awful taste. (Trip.com CS stepped in and helped to clarify things but theres nothing that could be done. peak season, and everywhere else is fully booked or without paying a premium) That said, the stay was good. MyEcolodge sits in a very convenient location just couple stops from Hirafu. Theres various buses including free shutters so thats really an ease off the mind) 7eleven, a small cafe, hotpot/shabushabu restaurant just sits across from you. The hostel also has their own cafeteria though ive never eaten there (food looks good though). They have a huge storage room for your gears, pretty safe so no worries. pantry, laundry room, washroom are pretty spacious and kept tidy. The room itself is fine, nothing to wow about. nothing to complain either. Towels are free and clean. Everything else you need to pay. Overall good stay. Pray hard you get nice room mates if youre sharing!

TTuomaxixingThe first time I went skiing in Hokkaido, I chose Niseko. We went there during the peak season and booked late. Niseko is a popular place, so it was hard to find a hotel that was actually available and reasonably priced. Many ski hotels with good value for money and close to the ski resorts were fully booked early, or they were luxury hotels that were several times more expensive. Finally, after looking around, it happened that Niseko Park Hotel had rooms available a few days after the Spring Festival. It could accommodate families and the price was very good. I immediately made a decisive move and booked 4 nights in a row. Although Ctrip's price was not the lowest, it was still very good, and the booking channel was more reassuring. The Park Hotel is not big. It is on the main road from Hirafu Town to the ski center. It takes about 7-8 minutes to walk to Base and Gondola. Opposite is Hirafu 188 Supermarket, and there are also some restaurants not far away. In the peak season of Niseko, which is crowded and expensive, the location is very good. We booked a basic Japanese-style room with tatami, more than 20 square meters, and no bathroom. The room is very clean, the public toilet is also very clean, and there is also a public Japanese hot spring. We have been to Japan many times and prefer Japanese-style rooms. This time we mainly skied, the price of Japanese-style rooms is reasonable, and the hotel is good in terms of hygiene, catering, hot springs, and skiing convenience. Overall, we are still very satisfied. The hotel only provides breakfast, and the richness and quality of breakfast options exceeded expectations, which is better than many Japanese economical chain hotels and B&Bs we have stayed in. The window on one side of the restaurant faces Mount Yotei. Although there was continuous heavy snow when we were there, Mount Yotei was basically invisible in the morning, but the scenery of the town of Hirafu covered with Hokkaido powder snow outside is still very good. In the morning, looking at the flying snow outside the window and the skiers carrying snowboards passing by in groups of three or two, while eating a hearty breakfast, it is the most relaxing and anticipated moment of the day. Ski hotel, Japanese hot spring is naturally indispensable. The public hot spring of Park Hotel is not large, but there are different indoor and outdoor pools, and you can also see the thick white snow outside. It is said that there are also private baths, which may be available in high-end rooms. In fact, skiing every day, taking a small soak in the hot spring to warm up and relax, the pool in the public area is enough. The hotel has two large lounge areas, one on the ground floor of the main building, with a fireplace in the room and many old items. The other is on the second floor of the annex building, which is larger. The French windows on one side face the main street, and there is a row of sofas next to it, where you can be in a daze, warm up, and enjoy the scenery; this area allows hotel guests to bring their own food and drinks to enjoy, and many guests have a ”self-service” dinner here. The hotel has its own ski storage room and a heating room for drying snowshoes, which is very convenient for continuous skiing. The facilities are relatively old, and the space is a bit tight during the peak season. In addition, they are all open, and I don’t think it is very safe. It would be more friendly if some lockers could be set up. The Park Hotel cannot be skied in and out directly, which is much inferior to the Prince Hotel next to it and the slightly farther Maple. But the hotel is very close to the lower station of the family lift, about 4-5 minutes walk, and the most convenient way to ”ski in and out” is to take a board and walk in and out from the entrance of the family lift. The hotel service is good. We arrived quite late on the check-in day. The girl at the front desk was very quick and had no problem communicating in English. She also provided information about check-in, dining and skiing. We also asked for inquiries during our stay and they were responded to promptly. The hotel only cleans the room once every four days, so you have to arrange it yourself. This was not a problem for us, in fact we put up a do not disturb sign every day. Towels and Yukata for bathing can be easily picked up, and the cleanliness of the bathroom and hot spring is also very good. Although the room was full when we stayed, everything was orderly and comfortable.
