"Our family had a wonderful time staying here for our vacation! The hotel is very clean and new, and the room was spacious enough that even with several large suitcases, it didn't feel cramped at all. The front desk and restaurant staff were all smiles and eager to help throughout our stay. The surrounding natural environment is expansive and beautiful, with plenty of activities to enjoy. Both the kids and adults had a blast, so I highly recommend this hotel for families vacationing in Hokkaido with children."

"My first impression was that the room facilities were outdated. Thankfully, the lobby view was great, and we could watch the fireworks over the lake without having to go outside. The buffet food was also decent. These factors somewhat made up for the room's environment and facilities, which were even worse than a budget hotel. In particular, the table and cabinet in front of the TV were so old they made me uncomfortable. The air conditioning was practically useless; it was stuffy and hot after a bath. Overall, it wasn't good value for money. Check-in and check-out were fully self-service, and the staff weren't particularly warm. Unless they renovate, I probably won't stay here again. There are plenty of other hotel options nearby. The view of Lake Toya outside the window, however, was beautiful."

"Overall a great stay. The biggest advantage is the convenience. It is truly ski in ski out, which makes it very easy to access the slopes without needing to travel anywhere. The slopes here are also very beginner friendly. They are not too steep, which makes it a comfortable place to learn or practice skiing. I also took a 2 hour private ski lesson arranged through the hotel. Our instructor, Yuki, was very friendly, patient, and encouraging, which made the learning experience enjoyable. The only downside was the food. Both the dinner and breakfast buffet had quite limited variety, and the taste was just average. Considering the price we paid, the food did not feel very worth it. Overall, it is still a good place to stay if you want convenience and easy access to beginner friendly slopes. Just do not expect too much from the buffet."

"The hotel service and amenities is hilton standard. The mountain view is just mesmerizing. The location is very private and peaceful. We stayed there during off season, so the lift was closed. However, you can still stroll around mount Yotei which is quite an experience."

"Setsu is a must-visit hotel in Niseko! Its location is perfect for summer, being close to the sports centre. Frankly, there’s limited information online about Niseko summer activities. So I emailed Setsu to check the itinerary, which wasn’t related to our stay but they promptly responded and sent us all the information to help us plan. They were also incredibly kind to pick us up from Kutchen station, which we hadn’t expected. We especially wanted to thank Satonshi for his warm welcome and preparation. He truly elevated our entire accommodation experience at Setsu. Don’t miss their breakfast – it’s fresh, generous portions and delicious! The atmosphere is relaxing and modern. The rooms are incredibly spacious and comfortable in a traditional Japanese style. We highly recommend trying the public onsen and gym as well. We absolutely loved our stay at Setsu!"

"This is a family trip for two adults and two kids. And we stayed in the hotel for 7 nights, bfast and dinner included. It's apparent in the booking that we will have kids in the stay, and yet either Trip.com/hotel charged us meals for 4 adults for the entire trip. We ended up overpaying A LOT and wasting A LOT of food because the kids couldn't finish the set meal. Yet the hotel refused to adjust / refund. This was a serious mistake made by Trip.com / hotel. The hotel provided shuttle bus to the ski resort. Good that there was early shuttle bus around 815am BUT the return shuttle was way too early (4pm) for any serious skiers. The hotel should offer more options. There was no gym in the hotel and difficult to do some proper full-body exercise. Onsen set up was nice and clean and tidy. The public onsen wasn't used much so it ended up a big private onsen for us. We like the traditional Japanese cusine but very disappointed that the chef provided limited changes on the menu during our 7 nights of stay. We spent roughly same number of nights elsewhere in Niseko and the design of their menu was way better. Staff in general was very helpful and friendly and some of them spoke English and Chinese. The hotel was short of staff IMO. I could see them running around in the hotel. The ski equipment room could be equipped with better facility to dry ski boots and gloves. Shuttle bus was only offered to Niseko but not Kutchan station which was in fact not too far away anyway. The room was clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel was great too. It's 10mins from the Niseko station and 5mins from annupuri ski run."

Niseko, beautiful year-round, truly transforms into a ski paradise in winter. The hotel's exclusive gondola serves as a 'private access lane,' offering genuine ski-in/ski-out convenience. Paired with a master-designed night illumination show, it adds a romantic touch to the snowy evenings. Compared to other popular ski resorts, this area feels more tranquil and private, making it especially ideal for families or discerning travelers seeking a premium experience. Undoubtedly, the standout features are the exclusive ski-in/ski-out gondola and the resort's appealing atmosphere, perfect for both summer and winter. The off-peak season, priced at nearly half of peak season rates, offers outstanding value. It's highly recommended for guests who value tranquility and appreciate meticulous service – whether it's a summer escape from the heat or a winter ski adventure, guests will find a double delight of comfort and serenity here."

"This is by far one of the best hotels we've stayed at in our whole trip to Hokkaido. The location was unbeatable as it was right behind the Hirafu Welcome Center. It's also walkable to the quite a number of restaurants. Service was impeccable. They thought of everything, including providing guests with a shuttle to and from the KIng Gondola and many other key points within the town, and we could see its status and movement around town in real time. Our room was a two-bedroom unit, and it was really spacious with any and all kinds of amenities, including a washing machine, dish dryer, stove, microwave, etc... In particular, our unit was accessible to the ski slopes via a back door, and the view there was amazing. Just a few steps from the back door, we could already see the view of Mt. Yotei. The hotel also has a complimentary onsen (public and private options), which was a welcome treat after a day at the slopes. Breakfast had a lot of variety, so you can surely find something to your liking. All in all, we had a really great stay at Skye Niseko, and we willl definitely come back here the next time we're in Niseko."

"I had a wonderful stay at Ki Niseko. The location is excellent, offering convenient access to the slopes, restaurants, and nearby attractions. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from the staff, particularly those at the concierge, spa, and restaurant. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. The hotel amenities were also very good, with well-maintained facilities that enhanced the overall experience. The only area for improvement would be the dryer, which was not as effective as expected. Aside from that minor issue, everything else exceeded expectations. Overall, Ki Niseko delivers a high-quality stay with outstanding hospitality, and I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Niseko."

"This hotel is located on a hilltop, offering fantastic views of both the lake and the sea. We stayed in a lake-view room this time and even caught a fireworks display at night, though they were a bit small. The sunrise in the morning was absolutely beautiful, with a very tranquil lake. While the hotel is a bit older, the amenities and service are still top-notch. I really love this hotel."
