"Hotel just right in Biei town area and although is a very small town but is very good & convenient location (Just next to Biei train station 🚉 & Michi-no-Eki)

when booking with trip.com we requested 2 pillow each bed but they was forgotten
So we have to request from front desk

And it was so warm to me as I was mistaken book a smoking room but did request for balcony Mountain View, luckily they email me & remind on which my room type so immediately we can respond don’t mind to pay extra money for nonsmoking & balcony room But they free to change our room without any extra cost.

"I rented a car, but because I didn't bring my international driver's license (thinking it would be like other countries such as the US), I ended up in a difficult situation and had to rely on public transportation like trains and taxis. For that reason, I don't recommend this ryokan due to its inconvenient and remote location. Closer options like Fukuoka or Yufuin would probably be much better."

"The Japanese-style room had someone dedicated to making the beds, and there was plenty of space for three adults, not cramped at all. It's very close to Shirahige Waterfall, right downstairs from the hotel. Additionally, the hotel offers many convenient services, such as shuttle buses to and from Asahikawa and the Blue Pond, making it very easy to explore the surrounding area.
The only downside was that the bathroom in our room type didn't have a wet/dry separation and was very small, not suitable for showering inside. Luckily, the hotel has a hot spring bathhouse, so my family and I went there morning and evening to shower."

"We were given a triple room. While the room was a bit old, it had ample desk space and very comfortable chairs. The hot spring is a sulfate spring. They offer a free shuttle service, departing from the hotel at 7:25 PM and from Aoi Pond at 8:15 PM, which was a nice bonus. Breakfast was excellent, and the service was even better. This hotel truly lives up to Japan's high standards."

"This was the best hotel of my trip! First, the good points: the shuttle service was super convenient. I just called them through Trip.com, and they picked me up at the Asahikawa JR Bus Stop #1 at 2 PM and took me directly to the hotel. The location is excellent – right next to Shirogane Blue Pond, and you can easily walk to the Blue River (Aoiike) in about half an hour without needing to join a tour. That walk along the Blue River was honestly my favorite part of the entire Japan trip, especially since I could go at my own pace, without crowds, and take as many photos as I wanted.
After dinner, there was a shuttle to see the special light effects at the Blue Pond, which were pretty cool.
Every day, I got to enjoy several true onsen baths, including outdoor ones. It was such a unique experience to be soaking in a hot spring while it was snowing heavily on my head!
Finally, and most importantly, both the dinner and breakfast at the hotel were absolutely top-notch. They had unlimited fatty tuna, sukiyaki, beef, strawberries, tempura, and so much more, and everything tasted fantastic.
I'd honestly go back to Biei just for this hotel again!"

"The environment here is great, with all the living functions, including an oven, microwave, washing machine, heater, and basic daily necessities. There are also plates and tableware. There is also space for parking outside. It is very comfortable. I highly recommend this accommodation. There is also a convenience store next to it where you can buy things, which is very convenient. I would like to visit here again!"

"Very beautiful accommodation environment, the master's intention can be seen in the details. The room was clean and tidy, the breakfast was Western-style, and Hokkaido milk was delicious. Just beside the Ken&Mary tree, walk to the Meilong Station for 30 minutes, take a taxi for 970 yen, and also fight for the first stop on the road. Staying for two days, the first day happened to have a navel offering in Furano, so I rushed to Furano. After the event, I took the last JR car back to the United States. Before the departure, ask the landlord about how to call a taxi at night. The landlord told us that if there is no car, you can call Mr. Fang to drive to pick up. Unexpectedly, after leaving the station at night, there are still many taxis waiting outside the station, which is very pleasant. On the last day, take a taxi to Asahikawa Airport and the fare is 3,130 yen, which is acceptable."

"It is a B&B run by ********* and speaks Chinese. Dinner and breakfast are charged separately. Dinner is 4,500 yen and breakfast is 1,500 yen. I went there once in autumn and winter, and the food has not changed. If you are staying consecutively or going there for the second time, it is recommended to inform the owner in advance, and they will update some dishes for you. The room is a bit old and the public bathroom on the first floor is not open. If you have a car at night, it’s very convenient to go to Shinei-no-oka to watch the stars!"

One of the things we appreciated most was how comfortable the accommodation was. The beds were cozy, the living area was spacious, and everything felt clean and well cared for. It didn’t feel like a hotel room — it felt like a real home. The quiet surroundings made it easy to rest well, and waking up to such a serene environment was incredibly refreshing.
The kitchen was a big highlight for us. Being able to cook our own meals added so much warmth to the stay. Whether it was preparing a simple breakfast in the morning or enjoying a homemade dinner together, the kitchen was well-equipped and easy to use. GGuest UserRoom facilities have everything, the overall cleanliness is very satisfactory, suitable for groups of five to six people, there is a supermarket nearby, it is convenient to cook by yourself, and it is very close to the surrounding attractions of Meilu by car.
Warm reminder that there are not many choices for dinner, many shops are closed at seven o'clock, if you are not cooking by yourself, pay attention

The room was very warm and took a lot of photos. When we used to walk for about 40 minutes, it is recommended to take a taxi. The surrounding area is very deserted. Cool Meixuan is a fairy tale town

The ground floor has a kitchen, a dining area, and a backyard area. The upper floor is a bedroom with a large window for sleeping and watching the snow. If you go in the winter, you have to push your luggage in a cart yourself. It's fun. The atmosphere around the accommodation is good, but it's more suitable for people with cars because it's quite far from the city.

There are 4 units in this building. One parking slot per unit is provided at the corner near unit 101.
This apartment offers a truly practical and comfortable base for exploring the area. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the basic utensils and cutlery for easy meal prep, and the welcome inclusion of instant slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. The microwave was also super handy for quick snacks and reheats.
Comfort is well-managed with one air-conditioner that kept the unit at a pleasant temperature throughout our stay. The washing machine was a huge plus, and we found the designated drying area right above it in the toilet very efficient. The separate dining table was also a nice touch, providing a comfortable space for meals. 2 dryers are outside the building.
With two double beds, this unit is well-suited for small groups or families. We also enjoyed being able to link our Netflix account to the TV, which was great for unwinding in the evenings

Things to Note About the Location
The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, offering a peaceful atmosphere. While there aren't many eateries directly nearby, there are two convenience stores within easy reach. Do keep in mind that local supermarkets tend to close around 7 PM, so plan accordingly for groceries.
We found the area to be quite pleasant for getting around, with not many cars on the road. This makes it particularly fun to explore the town by bicycle, and there are several bicycle rental stores available if you're keen to pedal around.

KKobe FukaeThe hotel description did not capture the situation enough. I was confused due to lack of room pictures. They also posted several listing for different rooms under different hotel name section. But this room is perfect for us. The location is a bit far (if you are not used to walking) from the station but it is only around 7-9 minutes walking. The surrounding area is a quiet neighborhood. The building is new and very clean. It was also warm inside even when the weather forecast said -14 celcius outside. The japanese food they served was also very good. They provided free coffee/tea and water in common area. They also let us lent their microwave. The bathroom is only one but very clean and comfy. The room has its own mini fridge, ac, and tv. If you are wondering where to stay in Biei, I definitely recommend this place.
