"Excellent location which is near to everything: JR Hakodate station, bus station, tram station, taxi station, Hakodate Morning Market, Family mart, etc. The room is spacious and has a sofa seat. At 13th flr where our rooms were, there was a cafe where guests could have a drink free of charge. The breakfast spread was good and the staff were very polite! However, the air-conditioning was auto turned to warm, and we could not switch it back to cool temperature. As a result my daughter has to resort to rent a fan, as it was very warm at night."

"Beyond expectations! I booked this hotel specifically for the breakfast, and it definitely didn't disappoint. The fresh, all-you-can-eat seafood was absolutely amazing. The only minor drawbacks were its distance from the station and the quiet surroundings. We visited during the off-season, and the streets were quite deserted when we walked back to the hotel at night."

"Hoshino Resorts' service is delightful! This hotel offers great value for money and is conveniently located very close to the JR station. The most pleasant surprise was the hotel's exclusive shuttle bus service connecting to all the main attractions in Hakodate. The breakfast was also excellent. Overall, everything was perfect."

"I stayed at Hotel Global View Hakodate for three nights during a self-drive trip. The hotel offers its own parking, which is convenient, although there is a fee (around 1650 yen for three nights). In terms of value, the hotel is very affordable and comes with both breakfast and onsen, which is a great bonus. The room was also quite spacious, and I appreciated having a washing machine in the room, with coin-operated dryers available downstairs. However, the biggest downside for me was the bedding. When I lifted the sheets, I found some hair and lint, which was not very pleasant. As it was late and we were tired, we didn’t report it immediately. During the night, both of us felt quite itchy while sleeping. It might be due to the material or the sheets being worn out, as they felt a bit rough and not very skin-friendly. We ended up wearing long sleeves and long pants to sleep, which helped. The next day, I gave feedback to the front desk. They mentioned that all rooms use the same bedding and offered a thicker blanket instead, but we decided not to take it. Overall, the hotel offers great value and good facilities, but I do hope they can improve the cleanliness and quality of their bedding."

"Coming from the airport, there's a direct bus to Hakodate Station, and the hotel is very close to the station. The front desk service was excellent. On the first floor, they have thoughtful travel guides and restaurant recommendations. The large public bath was very relaxing."

"Facilities: Excellent. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, better than many hotel buffets. Cleanliness: Good. Environment: It's very convenient to walk around and explore the area. The bay view is absolutely stunning. Service: Very good. They even offer a pillow menu and aromatherapy choices in the evening."

"The front desk service was excellent, with staff who spoke Chinese. They patiently explained how to get to the beach and even gave us a map 🗺️. The hotel's location is fantastic. You can spot it right away after exiting the JR station and turning left. It's also super convenient to get here from the airport by taking bus number 3, which drops you off at the JR station. The breakfast was plentiful, with sashimi, noodles, bread, fruit, fried chicken, and more. The milk tasted great. The restaurant offers outdoor views, so it was lovely to eat and gaze out the window while it snowed. The onsen ♨️ was decent, nothing spectacular but good enough. They provided Sekkisei skincare products, which are well-known. However, the toothbrush was a major downside. It was incredibly hard, so much so that it hurt my mouth when brushing. I strongly recommend the hotel replaces the toothbrushes❗️"

"You can reach the hotel by taking a bus from the station to the left of the airport exit. The bus to Horaicho costs 700 JPY and conveniently drops you right at the hotel entrance. You can also take a bus from the hotel to the airport, though services are less frequent, so you'll need to check the schedule carefully. The hotel boasts an excellent location, close to both Jujigai and Horaicho tram stations, and within walking distance of the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses. The room was spacious, perfect for one person, with enough space to open my suitcase. It came with a fridge for food, and instant tea and coffee, but no complimentary water, so I had to buy some from a convenience store. The bedding was comfortable, and while the pillow was a bit firm, it was still okay. I didn't find any bed bugs, and the bathroom was clean. Housekeeping isn't daily; a full clean is done every three or four days. On other days, you need to leave towels to be replaced and trash outside your door by 10 AM. Breakfast was plentiful and satisfying every day. It's a buffet with a wide variety of options, including freshly prepared dishes. I particularly enjoyed the pork rice bowl. Breakfast is served until 10 AM, but please note that entry stops at 9:30 AM. The lobby offers complimentary drinks from 3 PM to 10 PM. The Hakodate milk and yogurt were delicious. Alcoholic beverages were also available, but I don't drink. Near the elevators, you'll find pajamas, toothbrushes, razors, facial cleanser, makeup remover, toner, and lotion available for guests to take as needed. There's also a laundry room and microwave on the first floor (and seemingly an ice maker), but I didn't use them. The service was excellent. Even though there was a language barrier, the staff tried very hard to explain things clearly to me. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Walking distance of 3 to 4 minutes from Hakodate Train Station. Besides a Gold Gym (2nd floor), Lawson convenience store. Near Tram stop, near bus station. Nearby is big store selling delicacies, pharmacy/ Drugstore. Waterfront about 10 minutes walk with some fresh seafood restaurants. Hakodate being an important export hub of seafood. Various fresh seafood abound."

"We were so satisfied with the hotel! It’s 5-6 minutes walk from the train station and morning market is just right beside. Though it’s a bit further to the beach but it’s still within comfortable walkable distance! Our first room was on second floor, with strong smell of the onsen. Then we reached out to the reception and they changed our room to a higher floor very quickly and nicely! The onsen area is huge and very clean. The view from our room was spectacular."
