"This is my 2nd time in a week staying here; first night was a larger room which was awesome; this is a smaller (and cheaper) room so nothing fancy and it is the usual Japanese-sized room. Check-out time is 10am but check-in time is at 3pm, which I think 11am check-out should be better. I think the hotel is pushing the limit a little too much probably due to its location which is 10-15 mins walk from Nagoya Station. No filtered water provided and not sure if tab water is save to drink as there is no sign. Surrounding has many eateries like Izakaya and Japanese food so it is convenient to ge food."

"We stayed again at this hotel for our last 3 nights in Nagoya. It is a 15 mins walk from Nagaoya station and there are plenty of food options and konbinis around. There is also a cinema located within the same building and there is an access to the basement walkway to the train station but do take note of the opening timing. The room was modern and clean with a large smart TV. We stayed on the 22nd floor and the view was fantastic this time compared to to the first stay during the start of the trip as the room was facing the castle and Alps. There’s is also a public bath on the 18th floor where the lobby was. It was small but decent with no view which was a pity. Overall a good place to stay if you intend to hit the surrounding areas for shopping and sightseeing in the city."

"Cons:
1. Toilet doesnt have heated seat.
2. Water faucet for sink and shower are complicated to use. You have to open both hot and cold faucets to come up with the perfect temperature.
3. No air conditioning. Only heater was available. We were asked to just open the window since the airconditioning was broken during our stay. However it can be noisy at night due to nearby pubs.
4. Pillows and mattress are hard as rock.
5. No other amenities like indoor onsen, vendos, etc

"The location is fantastic, right next to Nagoya's main subway station. Downstairs, there's a shopping mall with Uniqlo, Bic Camera, and GU, perfect for all your shopping needs. There's also a convenience store right at the lobby entrance. We even received shopping mall discount coupons upon check-in. On our floor, there was a drink vending machine, a free ice machine, and a microwave. The bathroom had a large tub, and they provided not only bath salts but also miniature toiletries. Even the shampoo was excellent. The room also came with complimentary capsule coffee and tea. We booked a twin room for our family of three, and the size was perfectly adequate with a great view. I would definitely book this hotel again on my next visit."

"The room was clean and bright, and it was only a 10-minute walk from Nagoya Station. Check-out at 11:00 AM was super convenient – just drop the room card into the machine. The self-service breakfast had freshly baked chicken wings and fried fish, vegetable salad, noodles, yogurt, and bread, all of which were quite tasty. There are many great restaurants nearby, and Nagoya Castle is just a 20-minute walk away."

"A modern hotel in the middle of the dynamic sightseeing and shopping area of Sakae. 3 mins to Mirai TV tower. My room had a classy, boutique feel and the tower night view was pretty from the 12th floor window. Staff remembered to accommodate my room request, thank you! Free drinks for guests at the lounge cum breakfast space. The breakfast spread was amazingly extensive, featuring the specials of Nagoya from the ogura toast to the tsubake chicken wings and grilled eel rice. Worth getting the room with breakfast, or even topping up 14.000yen for. Come down early though, because the seating space is small and rather cramped, so you will need to wait and be assigned seats. Guests eating solo may have to sit at communal tables."

"Although the room size isn't huge, it's quite acceptable for a major city like Nagoya. Every day, after returning to the hotel, I could relax in the large public bath on the rooftop, which really helped to relieve the day's fatigue. Since I didn't use the room's bathroom, I put my suitcase in there, which effectively increased the usable space in the bedroom. Plus, the hotel provides DHC cosmetics for free, which is definitely a highlight. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Sakae commercial district, Oasis 21, and Nagoya TV Tower. Nagoya Castle is only about a 15-minute walk away. For dinner, if you turn right out of the hotel and walk for about 5 minutes, you'll find an underground shopping street beneath the Nagoya TV Tower with all sorts of restaurants and a food supermarket. There's also a convenient store right outside the hotel. While the breakfast selection isn't incredibly diverse, I particularly enjoyed the unagi don (eel rice bowl) and ramen. The staff were very enthusiastic. Choosing this hotel for my stay was definitely a smart decision."

"I really enjoyed my stay at VIA INN Nagoya Shinkansen-guchi! The location is excellent — it’s very close to Nagoya Station, just about a 10-minute walk away, so getting around the city is super convenient. There’s a Family Mart right downstairs and a Lawson within 3 minutes’ walk, which is very handy. The area also has plenty of great places to eat, including several ramen shops.
One pleasant surprise was discovering a huge Aeon supermarket just a 10-minute walk away — and it’s open 24 hours! Perfect for grabbing late-night snacks or doing some quick shopping.
The hotel itself is very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The room felt cozy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. Highly recommended! 🌟"

Overall, the facilities at Tiad Hotel are quite comprehensive, and the property is very spacious. However, considering modern user expectations, it lacks screen mirroring functionality, which I believe could be improved. Additionally, the toilet flush is quite loud after use; I'd suggest optimizing that.
## Cleanliness
Although the rooms are large, it's clear that the cleaning staff are very meticulous. Having stayed in Japan many times, this is one of the cleaner hotels I've encountered. It certainly lives up to its standards.
## Ambiance
From the moment you enter, throughout the lobby, gym, pool, and even the rooms – despite some areas not being exceptionally vast – cleanliness is evident at every turn.
## Service
There's a welcoming service right at the hotel entrance, consistently available morning and night. Check-in was pleasant and friendly, with Chinese-speaking staff on hand. However, I found the Chinese-speaking staff to be slightly less enthusiastic than their Japanese colleagues. When I encountered issues during my stay and called the front desk, the response was very quick. Other than the slightly high price, this hotel is essentially excellent.
## Exclusive Guest Perks
Regarding the exclusive guest perks: these were excellent, and the swimming pool is also very beautiful. However, swimming requires an appointment, and one day I couldn't secure a slot, so I had to book for the next morning. This was a real pity and my only regret.

The welcome wine on arrival was a lovely touch and made us feel immediately appreciated as guests. The room was very clean and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a short stay. Check-in and check-out were quick and convenient, thanks to the self-service machine by the counter, which made the whole process smooth and efficient. Overall, I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for great value in a central Nagoya location.

AAnonymous UserThe location is absolutely superb. There's a tempura restaurant right downstairs, and a huge Aeon supermarket next door where you can find virtually anything you need. Kanayama Station is just across the road, offering convenient access to both subway and JR lines, plus general shopping options. It's also not far from the airport. Aside from the room being a bit small, the value for money is unbeatable.

MMryxOn our trip from Kyoto Uji to Nagoya and then Takayama, we chose this Courtyard by Marriott hotel. It truly lives up to a five-star standard, with a fantastic overall ambiance. Both the lobby and restaurant are very spacious, and the rooms are a good size too. It's conveniently located just one subway stop from Nagoya Station. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserJapan's 9h capsule hotels are quite renowned, so I made sure to try one out this trip. My overall impression was excellent. The other guests were very considerate, and the hotel itself was spotlessly clean. The lockers were surprisingly spacious, and there were plenty of large, well-maintained shower facilities. Plus, the location was incredibly convenient.

Wwinewine99The hotel is really close to the subway station, about a four to five-minute walk. I didn't pay attention when I booked, and this particular street is a bit... 'special' at night, haha, but it's not a huge problem.
Right downstairs, there's a Lawson and a FamilyMart, plus a Matsuya fast-food restaurant. There were also several highly-rated restaurants nearby, but I didn't have time to try them!
It's about six or seven subway stops from Nagoya Dome, no transfers needed, and takes around 20-30 minutes, which is quite convenient!
The front desk staff were very friendly, but the check-in time is strictly enforced – only from 3 PM. There's a seating area nearby where you can wait, and breakfast is even included! Though I didn't actually eat it.
The room is small but has everything you need. It's perfect for one person, no big issues! If you're coming to the Dome for a concert, you might want to consider this place! 🫶🏻

GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to JR Nagoya Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. The surrounding commercial area also offers excellent facilities. Upon entering the hotel, I was immediately impressed; the lobby is spacious, upscale, and beautifully decorated, already exuding a strong Christmas atmosphere. The front desk service was exceptionally warm, attentive, and detailed in their explanations—truly a testament to a grand hotel's standard of service. The room was compact but very clean, tidy, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. I'm very satisfied. I'm looking forward to returning to the Meitetsu Grand Hotel after my trip to Takayama and Gero to kick off my Nagoya city tour and shopping spree! I'll definitely recommend it to friends.

GGuest UserLocation wise it’s around 8 minutes walk to the nearest metro. Wouldn’t say far but definitely not near either. Rating I would give is 3.8/5. Not exactly at the most bustling district but there’s this main shopping district - Osu which is within walkable distance! Do head to take a look!
Else everything is definitely satisfactory. I love the breakfast buffet (served 6am to 9am) everyday. Selection of proteins is not bad. Free flow eggs… The menu differs slightly everyday.
Hot bath from 630am - 4:00pm and at evenings till the midnight. Feels great! (Didn’t take pics due other users’ privacy) It’s empty and there’s no one else whenever I went, so it feels exactly like a private space to relax.
Housekeepers are super friendly too. Toiletries are placed at the public areas in front of the receptionist. Do remember to take before you set into the hotel!

その他はすべて間違いなく満足です。私は毎日の朝食ビュッフェ (午前 6 時から午前 9 時まで) が大好きです。タンパク質の品揃えも悪くありません。卵のフリーフロー... メニューは毎日少しずつ異なります。
午前 6 時 30 分から午後 4 時まで、夕方から深夜まで温浴を楽しめます。最高です! (他のユーザーのプライバシーのため写真は撮っていません) いつ行っても空いていて誰もいなかったので、まさにプライベートな空間でリラックスしているような気分です。
ハウスキーパーもとてもフレンドリーです。トイレタリーは受付の前の公共エリアに置いてあります。ホテルに入る前に忘れずに持っていってください。
日本での良い経験になります。

VVinnie_OngRoom price includes breakfast, while the options are limited, the taste and quality is good. Love the curry and it's soft scrambled egg. Room size I booked is typical Japanese business hotel size, which is compact. Location is like 5-10 mins to Nagoya station, 5 mins to Aeon Mall, and 15 mins to Toyota Commemorative Museum (all in walking distance). Also they have supplementary coffee and soft drinks throughout the day at the breakfast hall until 11pm. You can heat up your food as there is a microwave there. A good hangout place with friends for night snack before hitting the bed.

AAnonymous UserThe bed in the room is relatively small, only about 1m8. The quilt is not very comfortable and loose, but it is definitely clean. However, the price is here. You have to go to B1 to take a shower. You have to go to the front desk to get a hair dryer. It is only available from 4 to 11 o'clock.
