"At JR Sendai Station, close to the East Exit and easy access to the Shinkansen floor, altough there is still a small walk. The lounge is quite nice too. I arrived half an hour early and the front staff said my room is ready so they let me up. Thank you for the flexibility!

"The hotel was very dated and was also very small. The paint on the walls of our room looked like they were coming off at any time. However the bed was clean and the room was also decently cleaned.
All the basic amenities were provided during my stay and the staff were also courteous and friendly! The hotel is also located about a 10mins walk away from JR Sendai station so it is definitely convenient.
Overall, for the price you are paying it’s definitely worth it if you are just looking for a place to sleep for the night and go out in the day."

"Just a 5-minute walk from the JR station. The front desk staff were really enthusiastic and even upgraded our room! It came with a massage chair, which was super comfortable. The room itself was quite spacious, and the hotel facilities were new and very clean. The only downside was the lack of a hot spring, which was a bit of a miss."

"The location of the hotel is convenient just walk along sky walk through AER building you will see the hotel.The room is bigger than the other hotel we stayed during this 13 day trip. We stayed here for 2 nights. The first day of our stay, 2 water bottles, set of green tea and coffee were provided in the room. Because we would like to save the environment so we agreed with the hotel not to change towel and bed sheet.The the second day nothing was provided only garbage picking. But my friend's room was different .
Everything was provided because they didn't say anything. Even we didn't want to change bed sheet or towel but we still want to drink coffee or tea. So we were confused with the hotel service.Anyway we still recommended this hotel to anyone who come to Sendai."

"The hotel is located on the 2nd floor and without a clear hotel signage shown which made it hard for us the find even though we are using waze.
If you are driving , this hotel is really not convenient as there is no hotel parking . Spent so much time to find the nearest parking spot when the parking adjacent to the hotel is full . No drop off at all in front of the hotel therefore you have to lug your luggages from parking to the hotel.
The room is a little dated but pretty clean and very good price for a family of 4 . So before you book do weigh you are after convenience or on budget . The best thing the hotel can offers are right next to the shopping arcade, bath house and family room for 4."

"It seems to have just been renovated; it's clean and the service is good.
There's a park, Lawson convenience store, 7-Eleven, and a 24-hour donburi restaurant nearby.
It's an 8-minute walk from the east exit of the station and a 4-minute walk from Miyagino-dori.

"Location a little away from the centre, no that easy to get to but in a quiet residential area. Very friendly staff with good service. Also allowed to leave baggage after check in. The lady who helped with that also had perfect English. Unfortunately I ended up at a time where the prices were extortionate due to some event happening but this was the most affordably priced option without sacrificing too much, also one of the very few with rooms available at that time too. Happy with this and would recommend if you don't mind a bit of distance to the centre."

"This was my second stay at this hotel. Coincidentally, it was during a Japanese long weekend, and the room rate for two nights skyrocketed from over 800 to nearly 1500 yuan. The bed also downsized from 1.6m to 1.4m. My experience declined, but that's not the hotel's fault, it's my wallet's fault."

Cch.bWe stay here for two consective years and the main reason is their breakfast buffet which is not a huge line but they had every local famous items to offer, one of the best breakfast with variety of local choices for guest to enjoy with proper menu rotation. Easy access from Sendai station, walking distance to Sendai Station, Bus stop, Aeon supermarket, Montbell shop, lots of nearby local restaurants, family mart and 7-11. coffee capsule machine available at lobby from afternoon time onward.

OOliveycWe came to Akiu mainly to see Lu Xun's former residence, but the hotel itself was also great. Although there wasn't much of a view outside the window, Akiu Great Falls is just a short drive away. The front desk gave me a room on the top floor. The food, especially, deserves a special mention. My boyfriend ate 6 plates of the freshly grilled beef tongue, but he was still outdone by the Japanese gentleman next to us – I counted, he had 7 plates! I won't post other pictures as I see everyone else has posted plenty; I'll just share one of the massage chair. You can enjoy the view while getting a massage. It's very quiet during the day, and you can use it as much as you like without needing coins, which is much more generous than many other hotels. The parking lot is also spacious, so there's no need to worry about not finding a spot if you return late.

GGuest UserJust a few minutes' walk from Hirose-dori subway station, the hotel's location is extremely convenient, surrounded by numerous dining options. Having a convenience store on the ground floor is also a reassuring plus.
We stayed in a moderate non-smoking room for two. While the queen-sized bed was comfortable, it felt a bit cramped for two, though it would likely feel quite spacious for a solo traveler. The mattress firmness was just right, and the air purifier was a welcome amenity.
The bath area was nicely separated from the toilet, preventing any concerns about water splashing out, and the rain shower was a pleasant feature.
The front desk staff were friendly and left a positive impression.
One minor point is that the air conditioning throughout the hotel, including the lobby and hallways, felt a bit too strong. The complimentary coffee service in the lobby was a nice touch, but it was a shame that it couldn't be taken back to the room.
Overall, it's a clean hotel with excellent service, and we left feeling very satisfied.

GGuest UserThis Dormy Inn is by far the best one we've stayed at in Japan! The room felt slightly larger than the standard Dormy Inn basic room types, and the highlight was definitely the multiple outdoor onsen baths available (usually there's just one). It was fantastic to try out all the different ones in rotation. The service was also excellent. The only downside is the location, which is a bit out of the way, situated between Sendai city center and Matsushima Coast (a 25-minute walk from JR Nakano-sakae Station, or a 5-minute taxi ride costing around 1000 JPY). Other than that, there are no flaws, and the Ctrip group purchase price was an absolute steal. Plus, the Kirin Beer Factory is right next door, so if you have time, you can book a tour.

GGuest UserI absolutely loved this chain hotel. It's conveniently located very close to the station, though I'd recommend using navigation for the most straightforward route. Upon exiting the station, the easiest way is to head up to the second floor, walk a short distance, cross the street, and then take the stairs down. The room was a good size, and the layout was very practical.

Problem is other main attractions are far and need to take bus/taxi.
The Akiu traditional craft village/park was a big disappointment with no visitors and only few shops opened. Not worth going at all

YYongchuangtianyahahahaThis hotel is a 10-minute walk from Sendai Station, with four or five convenience stores nearby. It's also very close to the Sendai Morning Market, and there's a free observation deck on the 30th floor of the building next door. Right outside the hotel, you'll find a wide variety of restaurants, including ramen shops, Chinese restaurants, and Japanese diners.
The lobby has a style reminiscent of the early 20th century, and the rooms are very well-maintained and feel new. The bathtub is large, and a particularly great feature is how fresh the air in the room feels; you won't feel stuffy even after spending a long time there. The windows on the 8th floor can also be opened. The only minor drawback is that the room lighting is a bit too bright and not very soft. Both the mattress and pillows are very comfortable, and the front desk staff are highly professional. The beverage vending machine prices are also cheaper than what you'd typically find at other hotels.
