"Daiwa Roynet Hotel Sendai has a very convenient location! Right beside Sendai station (less than 5 minutes walk) and also near to Miyagino-Dori underground station! Rooms are clean and there are a lot of amenities at the level 2 front desk to take for your stay. The staff are also friendly! They assisted me on a lost item after I left the hotel and delivered it back to Tokyo for me. Top service!"

"The room is clean, quite spacious in a Japanese standard (I stayed with the one in Tokyo in the same group and this is much better) sadly they don’t have onsen or public bath which is a bit disappointing. But the convenience of locating exactly next to the JR station is superb! Before you check in you can actually chill at the lounge with free drinks and nice view. quite relaxing with a good view of the Sendai city."

"In complete contrast to my previous night at a different city, coming to this hotel was a total change. Friendly desk staff, helpful and accommodating. Well informed and willing to help. The room was small but enough for one night. The bed was really comfortable as well. The hotel has a Hot Bad that accommodates 4~6 people at once. Really wonderful being able to take a very hot bad at such large place. and all at no extra charge. Only thing bad I have to say about the place is there was this smell of ”fresh” paint all throughout. Bothered me a bit, but it was easy to put up with. I will be staying again in October and look forward to it. Unfortunately I took no photos. Will do so next time."

"We went to Sendai for last three years and we stayed at this hotel for at least three to five days. Nevertheless, no loyalty credit has been given. We booked a room at the last date we left Sendai (ie 2-3 Dec) and lastly we changed our mind to stay tat this hotel for two more days (ie 30 Nov to 2 Dec). When we asked if we could stay at the same room from 30 Nov to 3 Dec but not staying at the corner room, the hotel replied either we had to upgrade the room we booked for 30 Nov to 2 Dec by paying extra JPY4,000 or downgrade the room we booked on 2-3 Dec. 「No refund」was offered for any downgrading, thus we had no choice but paying extra JPY4,000. When entered into the room, we saw some rubbish on the floor, we went down to the reception immediately, in the lift, one of receptionists was with us, we intended to tell her about the cleanliness of the room but she didn’t make any response, seemed that it was none of her business. We showed the vedio regarding the rubbish to the receptionist and asked to change the room. He replied no available room for the change and no helper could help us to clean the room. At last, the receptionist came up and pick up the rubbish. No offer to clean up the room next day but sticking to the hotel’s rules to clean the room every three days. We were very unsatisfied with the hotel services and concerned about the cleanliness of the hotel."

"We Got upgraded to a newly renovated room, toilet is separated from bathroom, which was a nice surprise! Hate to shower inside the bathtub but for $150 I tot I should make do since it’s just 1N. Will definitely come back here again if I come to Sendai. Location is implacable! Linked to train station and mall. Lots of restaurants around. Sendai is more bearable as it is not as crowded as Tokyo where you need to queue for everything."

"Room is quite big and comfortable, beautiful lobby. The room had double-layered curtains with sheer drapes, which was a very thoughtful touch. Even when the morning sunlight was bright, it didn’t feel harsh. The only pity was that we didn’t get to try the hotel breakfast this time—hopefully, we can enjoy it on my next visit. It’s a hotel that makes me want to come back again~"

"Pretty good! The bed was huge, and it's super close to Sendai Station. Breakfast was also excellent. I could occasionally hear the train at night, but it wasn't disruptive at all. It's also quite close to Sendai Morning Market, and it probably takes less than 10 minutes to walk to Aoba-dori. Don Quijote is nearby, and I found the Sendai branch to be really well-stocked – they have everything, which is great! The AER observation deck is just a 3-minute walk away. Super convenient!"

"The hotel was renovated last year, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-lit, with enough room for two large suitcases. There's a self-service refreshment area (note the opening hours) that offers coffee, soft drinks, and surprisingly, nostalgic snacks and ice cream. Basic toiletries and skincare products are available for guests to take freely, and they even thoughtfully provide daily essentials for babies and children. In summary, aside from the hotel's location being a bit far from the JR station (about a 10-minute walk), there are no other drawbacks. There's a convenience store near the hotel; just head out towards the parking lot and cross one road."

"Just a few minutes' walk from Hirose-dori subway station, the hotel's location is extremely convenient, surrounded by numerous dining options. Having a convenience store on the ground floor is also a reassuring plus. We stayed in a moderate non-smoking room for two. While the queen-sized bed was comfortable, it felt a bit cramped for two, though it would likely feel quite spacious for a solo traveler. The mattress firmness was just right, and the air purifier was a welcome amenity. The bath area was nicely separated from the toilet, preventing any concerns about water splashing out, and the rain shower was a pleasant feature. The front desk staff were friendly and left a positive impression. One minor point is that the air conditioning throughout the hotel, including the lobby and hallways, felt a bit too strong. The complimentary coffee service in the lobby was a nice touch, but it was a shame that it couldn't be taken back to the room. Overall, it's a clean hotel with excellent service, and we left feeling very satisfied."
