"We went to Sendai for last three years and we stayed at this hotel for at least three to five days. Nevertheless, no loyalty credit has been given. We booked a room at the last date we left Sendai (ie 2-3 Dec) and lastly we changed our mind to stay tat this hotel for two more days (ie 30 Nov to 2 Dec). When we asked if we could stay at the same room from 30 Nov to 3 Dec but not staying at the corner room, the hotel replied either we had to upgrade the room we booked for 30 Nov to 2 Dec by paying extra JPY4,000 or downgrade the room we booked on 2-3 Dec. 「No refund」was offered for any downgrading, thus we had no choice but paying extra JPY4,000. When entered into the room, we saw some rubbish on the floor, we went down to the reception immediately, in the lift, one of receptionists was with us, we intended to tell her about the cleanliness of the room but she didn’t make any response, seemed that it was none of her business. We showed the vedio regarding the rubbish to the receptionist and asked to change the room. He replied no available room for the change and no helper could help us to clean the room. At last, the receptionist came up and pick up the rubbish. No offer to clean up the room next day but sticking to the hotel’s rules to clean the room every three days. We were very unsatisfied with the hotel services and concerned about the cleanliness of the hotel."

"This hotel exceeded my expectations. First, the service was excellent. Ms. Yoshida at the front desk was very patient during check-in, and seeing I had a lot of luggage, she offered to help me carry it to my room. Second, the hotel facilities are relatively new and well-maintained, and the bathroom design is great. The location is convenient; you can access the Shinkansen directly from the 3rd floor, and walk to the West Exit and S-PAL mall from the 2nd floor. From the window, you can overlook the East Exit high-speed bus terminal, making it extremely easy to get to attractions like Yamagata Zao. There's also a Lopia supermarket within a five-minute walk, which is handy for groceries. The only drawback is that there's only one washing machine and dryer per floor. Since you need to use your key card to access each guest floor, it can be hard to get a spot during peak evening hours for laundry. I recommend planning your time accordingly. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sendai and its surrounding areas."

"We Got upgraded to a newly renovated room, toilet is separated from bathroom, which was a nice surprise! Hate to shower inside the bathtub but for $150 I tot I should make do since it’s just 1N. Will definitely come back here again if I come to Sendai. Location is implacable! Linked to train station and mall. Lots of restaurants around. Sendai is more bearable as it is not as crowded as Tokyo where you need to queue for everything."

"The hotel staff was excellent, doubtless.
The location is convenient, just next to a metro station; however, it takes about 15 minutes tio go from Sendai Station to the hotel. But if you try the metro, it leads to to severl levels dwon plus lots of waiting time for the train. So it is not the best location i would say.
For the hotel room itself, it is a standard Japan hotel room. Smaller than i expected or expereinced in othe Mitsui Garden Hotel. That was a bit disappointing. I remember i was given a room with stinky smell. And i rushed to the front desk to ask for a cahnge of room. They immedaitely changed another room for me. But the reaction from their face, I wonder this smell problem must not have been new to them.
But anyway, the staff was super nice.
By the way, the public bath is normal. But i would say it lacks a space for people to relaxe outside the bath. There is no seat nor sofa outside. I need to go down to my room straightly. That was a bit not common in Japan hotels."

"The hotel's location is excellent, about a 5-10 minute walk from Sendai Station. The room isn't huge, but it's clean and tidy, which is a plus. The breakfast is a real highlight, with both Japanese and Western options available. The Japanese breakfast was particularly impressive – definitely a good choice."

"The hotel is in a great location. Exit the west exit of Sendai Station and walk a few minutes to the left on the overpass. The overpass is about 50 meters away from the Sendai Morning Market, so the hotel is also very close to the morning market. There is a small door on the first floor of the hotel that leads directly to FamilyMart. There are also small samples of Pola every night. The hotel breakfast is good, equivalent to about RMB 100, which is worth staying."

"Would definitely stay here again after spending 4 nights here.
Seems to be a new hotel in a good location in Sendai. It’s less than a ten minute walk from Sendai Station, it’s located even closer to the Subway, just 1 block from shopping arcade, and a few blocks from the Asaiichi market.
Hotel room was very spacious for 3 including a 1 year old. Our room was on the 11th floor with a view of the next buildings rooftop. The lights are controlled with a touch screen. Wifi seemed to work well. Good luggage and jacket storage at the entry way.
Lots of free amenities in the lobby and you can get 2 bottle of water per day. We did not have breakfast during our stay but the lounge is open from ~2pm to ~9pm and there’s a Starbucks coffee/latte machine. You may also purchase a glass of sake for ¥500 from a machine. The second floor has pay laundry machines, microwave, ice machine, and vending machines.
Hotel staff was helpful. They can arrange your luggage to be sent to your next destination. I don’t think there is any added service charge. I had opted for no cleaning when booking to save a little but they still cleaned the room daily.
My only complaint is when I asked for a new key because i lost one, the receptionist gave some attitude and said that I should look in my room for it after issuing another key."

"Everyone especially cleaning workers polite & helpful. Room small but locution great & toilet well equipped & clean. Lots of restaurants around. The local market nearby is a must-go. One minus though, counter staff can't easily understand our requests. Sendai is a great place but English is not a common tool for communication."

"This hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from JR Sendai Station, or just one subway stop away. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, and communication in English was seamless. You need your key card to operate the elevator, which adds an extra layer of security. The room was surprisingly spacious for a business hotel, with new furnishings and a large bathroom. It even had a bay window, a small sofa, and a desk – truly a pleasant surprise! The bed was also very comfortable.
On the ground floor, you can pick up various amenities, including DHC cleansing oil and skincare products, and even bath salts and mouthwash.
There's a convenience store and McDonald's right outside the hotel, making dining very convenient. Many bus routes stop right outside, and there's also a highway bus terminal nearby, which makes getting to other places very easy.
I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Sendai."

"Daiwa Roynet Hotel Sendai has a very convenient location! Right beside Sendai station (less than 5 minutes walk) and also near to Miyagino-Dori underground station!
Rooms are clean and there are a lot of amenities at the level 2 front desk to take for your stay. The staff are also friendly! They assisted me on a lost item after I left the hotel and delivered it back to Tokyo for me. Top service!"

Amazing
MMontree SuntichaikulThe hotel is located not far from
Sendai railway station within a walking distance. There is another entrance of JR local line to Matsushima bay not far from hotel in addition to the main Sendai station.
Hotel’s facilities are great and in good condition. Hotel also offers night Soba noodle with ducks to hotel guests, moreover, there are free soft drinks and ice cream in the afternoon until 10PM. Highly recommended for staying and traveling around Sendai and vicinity.
RRaspberry CherryThis is a very clean and impressive hotel.
We stayed here on a family trip, and the breakfast and dinner buffets had a wide selection and were very satisfying.
Dinner buffets were particularly lavish, with sushi and beef tongue on offer.
There is a round-trip shuttle bus to Sendai Station, but it may be fully booked without an advance reservation.
When I called the day before my stay, the only available bus to Sendai was the early morning one, so I had the hotel call a taxi for me.
There aren't many restaurants nearby, but the famous supermarket ”Saichi” is nearby, so I recommend visiting it.

Great
2205795****The room was clean and well-stocked with toiletries. It was quiet, and the hot spring was very relaxing with a good selection of bath amenities, which I really liked. It's also very close to Sendai Station, making shopping and getting around super convenient.
GGuest UserThe location is fanastic. It is close to Sendai JR Station, Sendai Morning Market and shopping streets. It is especially important given we have 2 ninety-year-old ladies in our group.
Breakfast was great. The dining hall was of Art Deco design. It had a mixture of western and Japanese dishes. The amount was plentiful and quality was good.
The onsen was free. There were jacuzzi and old water bath. It is pity that there was no open air bath.
We would consider a return if we happen to come back to Sendai.
PPPkwokThe hotel is clean and tidy. It’s unfortunate that the weather is really bad on the day of my arrival. So I’m basically forced to stay at the hotel and enjoy the hot spring. It’s also really great that they provide free ice pop outside the hot spring and coffee downstairs.
GGuest UserThe hotel staff were incredibly helpful, and even the cleaning team offered warm greetings, creating a very pleasant atmosphere throughout. The amenities were plentiful, and above all, the room was spotlessly clean. What truly impressed me was that the room came fully equipped with ReFa brand essentials: a straightener, curling iron, hairdryer, and even a ReFa shower head – it was absolutely fantastic! The excellent location was another huge plus, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, which was incredibly convenient.
LLIANGLlANGThe vending machine doesn't accept new banknotes yet, so I had to ask the cleaning lady for old ones. Every time I go to do laundry, I have to walk through the lobby, basically shamelessly in my slippers and pajamas. I wish the laundry room was on the second floor. The currency exchange machine should be near the laundry room, but I couldn't find it and frankly, I was too lazy to look (=TェT=). I also couldn't find a dry cleaning bag in the room; it would be great if one could be provided for every guest.
OOliveycWe came to Akiu mainly to see Lu Xun's former residence, but the hotel itself was also great. Although there wasn't much of a view outside the window, Akiu Great Falls is just a short drive away. The front desk gave me a room on the top floor. The food, especially, deserves a special mention. My boyfriend ate 6 plates of the freshly grilled beef tongue, but he was still outdone by the Japanese gentleman next to us – I counted, he had 7 plates! I won't post other pictures as I see everyone else has posted plenty; I'll just share one of the massage chair. You can enjoy the view while getting a massage. It's very quiet during the day, and you can use it as much as you like without needing coins, which is much more generous than many other hotels. The parking lot is also spacious, so there's no need to worry about not finding a spot if you return late.
AAAAzhuanyehanguopaocaipifashangPretty good! The bed was huge, and it's super close to Sendai Station. Breakfast was also excellent. I could occasionally hear the train at night, but it wasn't disruptive at all. It's also quite close to Sendai Morning Market, and it probably takes less than 10 minutes to walk to Aoba-dori. Don Quijote is nearby, and I found the Sendai branch to be really well-stocked – they have everything, which is great! The AER observation deck is just a 3-minute walk away. Super convenient!
