"This is a great hotel, very new and recently renovated. It's not right at the train station, but it's only a 1.2 km walk. The service is excellent, and they offer complimentary sake and drinks in the afternoon. The breakfast is fantastic, featuring fresh seafood from Toyama, with a wide variety of delicious and high-quality ingredients. Highly recommended! They even gave us tram tickets."

"The hotel is really close to the station, right between the North and South exits. When you come out, head right towards the M shopping mall. Walk a few steps along the side of the mall, and you'll find the hotel diagonally opposite the Toyota car rental. The staff were all very friendly, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was quite generous, and there's a 24-hour drink bar. The hot water for the coffee machine is at the very bottom, indicated by a red button. Just across the street, in the mall, there's that delicious sushi restaurant with self-service ordering – it's fresh and tasty!"

"I stayed for 4 nights in Toyama, and overall, this hotel had the largest room and offered the best value for money. It's just a 3-4 minute walk from Toyama Station, and you can see the hotel as soon as you exit. The room was very spacious for our family of three, and it even came with capsule coffee and snacks. The mini-bar drinks were also replenished daily. There's a large supermarket directly across from the hotel (mostly cosmetics/pharmacy items). Several restaurants recommended by Google Maps were also within walking distance, which was incredibly convenient. Breakfast was decent but didn't vary much over the days. All in all, it's a really excellent hotel, highly recommended."

"This hotel offered the best value for money during this trip. It's not far from Toyama Station. It's a five- or six-minute walk from the North Exit, and there's a 7-Eleven diagonally opposite. It's about a ten-minute walk to the Kansui Park, and you can also visit the museum there. Even going to the City Hall for the night view is only about a ten-minute walk. Take the tram from the North Exit of Toyama Station to Nishimachi; the glass museum is right there."

The Toyama Self-Traveling Hall is about 15 minutes' walk from Toyama Railway Station, although a little distance away, it is close to Fuyan Park, allowing you to easily enjoy the beauty of nature. The rooms here are large in size and provide spacious space for you to feel comfortable on your journey.
Although the hotel's facilities are old, there are no problems with the overall stay, and the quality of service is quite good. There are also cheap handwritten letters in the lobby to facilitate you to bring back some local souvenirs during the journey.

"I had a great stay at this hotel, especially because of its strategic location. It’s conveniently situated near major attractions, public transportation, and plenty of dining options!
Another highlight was the breakfast. There was a wide variety of choices, catering to different tastes, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. The sushi is one of the key highlights.

"Before trip, I think this hotel is located close to Toyama station but I walked from Toyama station to the hotel around 20 minutes (However, this was my own fault for not reading the hotel’s location information carefully).
For this hotel, the facilities is very well and various such as public bath, electric body massage machine, vending machine.
For the public bath, if you use it during the daytime, you’ll probably get a beautiful view of the Japan Alps surrounding the city. Unfortunately, I used it at night, when it was too dark to see the view."

"Stayed in a standard twin room for 2 nights. The room is slightly too warm as it operates on a central heating system. The rest of the hotel facilities are excellent. The staff are warm and friendly. If you do not want to have your room made up, they reward you with 2 QR codes which you can use at the vending machine behind the front desk.
We chose this hotel as it was a street across the Shirakawago express bus stop operated by the Toyama Chitetsu Bus company. It was really convenient for us to use it to explore Toyama as well as take a day trip to Shirakawago."

"This hotel is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Toyama Station. The front desk staff spoke fluent English, which was a huge plus. But the real highlight was the breakfast – amazing value for money, and they even had sashimi! Plus, there's a famous sushi restaurant right downstairs."

DDinningI've always been a big fan of Dormy Inn, and this was my first time trying their premium series. Beyond the all-tatami flooring throughout the building and the cypress *onsen* bath directly in the room, it wasn't vastly different from a standard Dormy Inn. In fact, the room was quite small. I actually quite liked the minimal room service – they only needed to provide fresh towels. After all, once my luggage was open, there was barely any room to stand.
The hotel is a bit far from Toyama Station. While this isn't a major issue for those driving, there aren't many dining options nearby, so you'll still need to head to the station area for food. The Glass Art Museum, on the other hand, is very close and definitely worth a visit, especially since the tickets are super affordable. And the breakfast, as usual, was absolutely superb!

GGuest UserDue to a booking error made by the agent, my check-in experience was terrible. I spent the entire night communicating with Ctrip (the booking platform), and while it was eventually resolved, I was still disappointed that I didn't get the room I wanted. The hotel is right next to Toyama Castle, and you might get lucky and see the Tateyama Mountain Range from the side. There's a convenience store and a tram station across the street, which is generally good. However, the room itself was very basic, and the service wasn't particularly warm. Overall, the experience was just average. A small surprise was the mochi pounding and sake offering on New Year's Day morning.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is fantastic; you can see its top-floor sign as soon as you exit the south exit of Toyama Station. There are many dining options nearby, offering a wide variety of choices. The room looked quite simple and clean, but there was a large stain on the inner rim of the toilet, near the bidet spray, which was very off-putting. The room was a smoking room, so the smell of smoke was very strong. If you don't smoke, try to choose a non-smoking room. I didn't pay close attention to that beforehand.

AAnonymous UserJust a short walk from the exit of Toyama station, turn left then go up an escalator, the hotel is on the left. I stayed for a nite in Toyama. Before i checkout from hotel, I went to Iwasehama Beach. I was only managed to onboard a 0831 tram back to Toyama station. By the time I arrived @Toyama station it was 0901. Thank goodness i booked this hotel and without missing my train @0925 to Osaka. Highly recommended. If I am coming back to Toyama definitely will stay @this hotel again. In addition to this, lots of eateries around the hotel too.

NnanaThe pick-up service was quite timely. The Japanese-style room was relatively large. The hot spring had an outdoor area. The indoor hot spring area was quite large. The outdoor water felt very good for the skin. It was slippery after soaking. You could enjoy the scenery while bathing. The hotel provided yukatas of various colors, which you could wear to take pictures in the snow. There were no small shops in and around the hotel. Unlike some large hot spring hotels that have many supermarkets like 7/11, there was no place to go shopping when you were free.

FflubberAbout 8 mins walk from Toyama Station, which is close enough if you don’t have too much luggage. But in the full summer heat it can be quite difficult.
The hotel is slightly dated but very clean. Laundry and dryer are on the 5th floor. You need your own laundry detergent. Lawson conbini is right across the road so it is easy to get snacks and essentials.
Room is clean and sized well for what you pay for.
