"This hotel is about 1.5 km from Tsuruoka JR Station. The nearest bus stop is 'Science Park.' There's a direct bus from Yamagata Airport, but other bus connections are unavailable, making transportation a bit inconvenient; it's more suitable for those traveling by car.
The hotel itself is newly renovated, surrounded by rice paddies, offering a beautiful and clean environment. Breakfast is a Japanese-style buffet featuring locally sourced ingredients. Dinner requires a reservation, as dining options nearby are limited to a convenience store. There are three dinner set menus, which I found a bit pricey, but the food was delicious, especially the bread and desserts.
Service was, as always, attentive, and the hot spring facilities were excellent. The only downside is its relative distance from famous Tsuruoka attractions like the Dewa Sanzan mountains and Kamo Aquarium. It's also a bit far from the S-mall bus terminal and the JR station."

"I spent two nights in Tokyo Daiichi Hotel Tsuruoka and I would stay there again. The location is very good - ten minutes easy walk from Tsuruoka JR train station and it's directly connected to S-Mall, so you don't even have to go outside to access the shops and restaurants in the mall. There is also a bus terminal at the mall for local buses - I caught a bus from there to Mount Haguro.
The bedroom was a good size for a Japanese business hotel with a good size desk and chair. However, I could only find one power socket! It's good that I brought a power strip! Typical of Japanese hotels with Onsen / Sentō the bathroom is small - most people would use the public bath facilities to shower.
The hotel has a Japanese style bath, however it was in the annexe, so it was rather confusing the first time I tried to find it. Two of the baths were inaccessible - the door was locked. The main bath was okay, there is a sauna and cold plunge pool.
The front desk were very polite, efficient and could speak basic English."

"The hotel front desk service was very professional. The parking attendant even asked my name first and then led me to the front desk to check in. The room has a large window with a view of the Sea of Japan. The wind was strong at the seaside that day, but the room was not disturbed by the whistling sound all the time. The women's hot spring has two areas, one is made of stone and the other is made of wood. There is also an outdoor area. Because I have tattoos, I avoid the crowds when taking a bath. The space feels very comfortable. The breakfast the next day was pretty standard, the usual traditional Japanese breakfast, but there was also coffee to drink. A very satisfying experience, hope to visit again."

I used 3 rooms for 6 families.
I was saved by changing the check-in time zone for this convenience. I didn't tell you that there was an elderly person, so it was a room that went up the steep stairs, so I learned that if I told you at the time of booking from the next time, I might be given a little preferential treatment.
Although it is a very old building, the exterior has been renovated and the inside has been cleaned cleanly. The corridor was shiny even if I walked barefoot.
I didn't use it because brown water came out of the water supply in the bathroom in the room.
I think it is better to bring earplugs when sleeping because I can hear the voice and snoring of the next guest.
There is no toilet in the room.
There was one bath for men and women, and it was a bath with a slightly larger bathtub and 3 showers for women. About 4 people entered at the same time. It was available until 12 o'clock at night. I could use it around 6 o'clock in the morning.
Breakfast was a dish that made the nutritionally balanced body happy, mainly vegetables, and it was very delicious. I was really happy with such a meal because eating out is the main thing during the trip.
After all, the rice is delicious! It was Tsuya hime that day.
It was a fluttering stay, but the host was very kind and kind.

"Not only was it convenient for access to the station, it was also close to the S-Mall bus terminal.
I used it this time to go to Dewa Sanzan, and I was grateful that I could get there without any problems.

"Small and clean, but the air vent kept making weird knocking noises throughout the night and there's nothing the staff could do to fix that. Seems like those knocking noises came from the wind backflowing into the vents or something? Couldn't get a good night's sleep at all. Nonetheless the staff was very patient with my questions. There's a public bath on the first floor, but it's disappointingly small with only four showers, and the onsen pool gets crowded with only five persons in it."

"The inn was nice and the open-air bath was wonderful. However, the site guide said that breakfast was buffet style and I made a reservation, but when I checked with the front desk, it was explained that the buffet style was abolished after Corona. Thanks to that, my 10-year-old daughter couldn't take what she liked and eat it, and for breakfast I only ate clam miso soup and salad with ham. Very disappointing. The guest room is also described as a guest room with a river view bath, and the photo of the guest room bath was nice, so I made a reservation, but it was very disappointing because it was a completely different bath. Ordinary narrow cypress covered with walls rather than view? Of course, I didn't use it just because it had a bath, and I enjoyed only the hot springs. It's a really wonderful inn, so I would like the publication side to guide you to the facility."

Sleep in this place is a unique and incredible experience: the rooms and equipment are very comfortable, the very welcome atmosphere and the experience, both spiritual and culinary, incredible! In the first place, you can find the surroundings when the night falls and the Haguro mountain is very calming in the morning!
In conclusion, one night at Daishinbo, it is not just sleep in a temple, it is living a separate experience

It is far from Hegang Station, but there is a route bus at the bus stop No. 2 in front of the station, which is about every 1 hour. The journey takes more than half an hour. Generally, guests staying are self-driving tourists. This homestay goes out and turns right and walks to the beach for 2 minutes. It is a good place to watch the sunset of the Sea of Japan. The proprietress and the boss are warm and welcoming. Dinner is seafood in the Sea of Japan and there are big crabs. Breakfast is Japanese. The hot spring water quality is acceptable and the bathroom facilities are simple.

夕食はカニ食べ放題🦀に目の前で揚げてくれる天ぷらなど、お腹いっぱいです。
朝ごはんも種類豊富で7時からでしたが大勢の方が食事されてました。何度もお風呂に入る人にはタオル補充いただけると助かります
