"I stayed at the hotel 2 nights, polite and responsive staff. The room is small but clean, there are towels, teapot, fan. Tomorrow was simple but delicious. There is a bus stop, shops and restaurants near the hotel."

"I spent two nights in Tokyo Daiichi Hotel Tsuruoka and I would stay there again. The location is very good - ten minutes easy walk from Tsuruoka JR train station and it's directly connected to S-Mall, so you don't even have to go outside to access the shops and restaurants in the mall. There is also a bus terminal at the mall for local buses - I caught a bus from there to Mount Haguro. The bedroom was a good size for a Japanese business hotel with a good size desk and chair. However, I could only find one power socket! It's good that I brought a power strip! Typical of Japanese hotels with Onsen / Sentō the bathroom is small - most people would use the public bath facilities to shower. The hotel has a Japanese style bath, however it was in the annexe, so it was rather confusing the first time I tried to find it. Two of the baths were inaccessible - the door was locked. The main bath was okay, there is a sauna and cold plunge pool. The front desk were very polite, efficient and could speak basic English."

"Not only was it convenient for access to the station, it was also close to the S-Mall bus terminal. Clean room, good location in the middle of town, a nice (but small) onsen but the cherry on top was the delightful lady at the front desk who was lovely to talk to and also helped me tie up yukata (something I'm terrible at). It was great to meet someone as friendly as that after weeks on the road.

Small and clean, but the air vent kept making weird knocking noises throughout the night and there's nothing the staff could do to fix that. Seems like those knocking noises came from the wind backflowing into the vents or something? Couldn't get a good night's sleep at all. Nonetheless the staff was very patient with my questions. There's a public bath on the first floor, but it's disappointingly small with only four showers, and the onsen pool gets crowded with only five persons in it.

It is far from Hegang Station, but there is a route bus at the bus stop No. 2 in front of the station, which is about every 1 hour. The journey takes more than half an hour. Generally, guests staying are self-driving tourists. This homestay goes out and turns right and walks to the beach for 2 minutes. It is a good place to watch the sunset of the Sea of Japan. The proprietress and the boss are warm and welcoming. Dinner is seafood in the Sea of Japan and there are big crabs. Breakfast is Japanese. The hot spring water quality is acceptable and the bathroom facilities are simple.

I've always wanted to stay someday, but the timing didn't fit well ... Unfortunately, I didn't have dinner because I was working this time as well. The toilet in the room itself has no place to wash hands, and if you are in the wash, you can't wash your hands. The meal doesn't change. There's no toilet in the bathroom dressing room. is it possible because the price is cheap? there's a lot of melon houses around. it wasn't melon.
