Poshtel is an antique-style hotel with beautifully designed interiors. Each room has its own unique theme, classic and full of character, making the stay truly memorable. The overall cleanliness is good and the atmosphere feels cozy and charming.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. When we were stuck due to a strong wind red warning, with public transportation canceled and unable to reach another city to catch our flight, the hotel team went above and beyond. They helped us book an alternative driver and kindly extended our checkout time, giving us more flexibility to plan for contingencies.

"A villa building, similar to a homestay, can park, the room is a bit small, the two single beds are relatively narrow, about 1 meter wide, breakfast is a simple breakfast prepared by the landlord, milk juice bread fried eggs, the location is slightly biased, there is no place to eat around."

"Itโs a vintage hotel, Iโm surprised with the lift which is very old type of lift, the design very pretty and retro. Room is quite spacious for 4 adults. The heater is very powerful and strong. The hotel is located near to the town center and precinct street, just a few minutes of walk can reach."

"Wooden house, walk up and sloppy, have to be light. There is no separate toilet, about two or three houses share a toilet plus a bathroom.
The facilities in the house are cute and have a heart. Check in according to the password, it will be troublesome to miss the email. . Anyway, I was looking for a long time. The single bed is very narrow and foreign countries are the same."

"Chinese service, attentive and enthusiastic service, the car encountered some problems, the owner has been helping to communicate on the phone, thank you very much! The room is clean and hygienic. It has its own yard and parking is convenient. The car is parked at the door of the room. The motel is right on the main road, making it easy to get in and out. This is a very nice motel, highly recommended!"

"Very close to Highway 1! There is a large supermarket 15 minutes' walk away where you can buy food. There is a full set of kitchenware and tableware in the room, which is very convenient! Note: The parking space number is the same as the room number. The boss is also in the courtyard and doesn't look very friendly!"

"Because I wanted to see the little penguin ๐ง, I had to stay in Omalu for one night and finally chose to punch in the first hotel on the list of this homestay. I really like the decoration style of the hotel, there are many Chinese elements in it, because the owner has stayed in different cities in China for more than 20 years. The most surprising thing is that I actually ate the only Chinese meal in the South Island Tour for breakfast. ๐๐"

"It's alright, about a 10-minute drive from where you can see the penguins. The only downside is that the kitchen utensils are a bit sparse โ not even a single knife, just one pair of scissors. I'd suggest the hotel at least provides a knife set. Also, there were only two hangers, which wasn't enough. The bed was quite comfortable. The water pressure was very low, so I didn't even bother showering that day."

88037****The homestay is on the hill in the center of Oamaru, overlooking the entire town and the Pacific Ocean in the distance. Unfortunately, the day we stayed was cloudy and we couldn't see the sunrise. 10 minutes drive from the Penguin Center. The cooking facilities in the house are particularly complete. At first glance, it is prepared for the Chinese. Not only have seasonings, but also rice cookers. This is not available in other hotels. If you prepare a large spoon, it will be 100 points.

GGuest UserFacilities: All are quite complete, but the soundproofing is so bad that you can feel the cough next to your ear, and the bed is so soft that your waist will definitely ache the next day after sleeping on it.
Hygiene: It is clean, but there will be a lot of bugs flying in as soon as the door is opened. This has nothing to do with the hotel. It is mainly because there are a lot of bugs in the local area, so it is barely 4.5.
Environment: There was a Chinese group on the day of check-in. Most of the members were 50-year-old southern aunts and uncles, so please imagine the whole environment on the day.
Service: I really thought it was a hotel with a bit of artistic atmosphere after seeing the name, so I placed an order, but it was actually a motel. When checking in, the fat ********* girl's *** and indifferent expression were also very disgusting. After checking in, the various Chinese signs in the room that were visible to the naked eye, saying what you are not allowed to do, and if you do it, you will be fined a certain amount of money, which is also very uncomfortable. I believe that many Chinese must have done various things to cause this, but after all, they are guests, and they don't owe you anything. You can remind the motel, but there is no need to warn them proactively.

GGuest UserThe hosts were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The food in the restaurant was excellent, however the hosts let their business down by not asking us if we wanted drinks. Hospitality runs on drink profits right? The hotel was basically clean but a lot of dusting needs doing. The kitchen or whatever on the first floor needs sorting out somehow - it is a jumble and there in no information about guests use of it. The toilets upstairs ran out of toilet paper and I had to go downstairs to get a new roll. The bed was very comfortable. I just think more could be done to make the Hotel more profitable for the hosts.
