"Participated in the Dalian Marathon. This was my second time visiting Dalian, and just like my previous trip during the 2019 Qingming holiday, I stayed at the InterContinental. The location is super convenient, with a subway station right outside. I usually head towards Zhongshan Square Station, but on checkout day, the doorman, the guy with the long hair in a ponytail, recommended Friendly Square Station and even walked me to the intersection. I really appreciated that! The hotel breakfast was fantastic and had a great variety, including Dalian specialties like sea cucumber porridge with rice and kidney bean clam noodles, plus roujiamo (Chinese hamburger), wraps, and fried dough sticks. I got to try them all! Housekeeping was very prompt; every day I'd leave in the morning and come back in the afternoon to a clean room. The bathroom was spacious and well-lit. The only minor downside was that the room didn't have a main overhead light, making it a bit dim."

"This is an established hotel. The rooms are pretty standard, but the service was great. It's very close to the subway station and the night market. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Flew to Dalian on ***** New Year's Eve. The business class flight tickets were cheap, and a sea-view suite at Hotel Nikko was affordable during the off-season. The front desk was standard, and the room was excellent. After some effort, I managed to book a New Year's Eve dinner. Fearing I might hold up the table for the next seating, I went early and ate quickly. I'm very grateful to the waitress who helped me pack up my leftovers; she kept reassuring me not to rush and to eat at my leisure. In fact, a family of three came and left behind me, perhaps finding it not worth the price. My solo meal cost 500 yuan, and I thought it was good. Vita Tao even came over and hugged me, giving me a horse figurine, which is auspicious. After that, I couldn't eat at Hotel Nikko anymore. So many unmentionable things happened during the process, haha. But the bread at Hotel Nikko was delicious. I borrowed a charging cable from the hotel. The hotel scissors were dirty, so I bought alcohol wipes to clean them myself. The housekeeping staff was great and proactively gave me extra bottled water. When checking out, after coordination with Trip.com, I was granted a late checkout until 4 PM. The hotel didn't rush me. However, someone at the front desk asked for a good review and came to look when I pulled out my phone to call a car, which was unpleasant. Good reviews should come naturally from guests who've had a good experience; asking for them is completely unnecessary."

"My friends kept telling me how great the service is at New World Dalian Hotel, so I decided to experience it for myself, and it definitely lived up to its reputation! Five stars all the way! The gym and pool are top-notch, truly world-class. From the moment I walked in, the service was incredibly attentive. The bell staff immediately offered to help with my luggage, and the front desk staff were all smiles and genuinely helpful. The room was exceptionally clean, meticulously maintained, and the bedding was super comfortable. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and all the amenities were well-stocked, making for a very relaxing stay. The location is also incredibly convenient, right in the city center, making it easy to get anywhere. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. The service was thoughtful, the room was spotless, and it was a truly comfortable stay. This is definitely my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Dalian, and I've already recommended it to all my friends."

"My trip to Dalian was centered around Hard Rock, and more specifically, acquiring pins from the Rock Shop. During check-in, the receptionist was incredibly enthusiastic. Her service had a certain straightforward, welcoming 'Northern style' that was quite refreshing. The room had a small balcony, but I barely noticed it; I dropped my bags and made a beeline for the Rock Shop, as that was the main event. It was just past peak season, so it wasn't crowded. I went straight to the pin display case. When I was taking photos, the staff member thoughtfully opened the case for me, allowing me a clearer view of all the current season's pins. This small gesture instantly revealed he was a fellow collector, truly understanding the mindset of an enthusiast. Upon learning I was particularly fond of the Core Icon series, the staff member immediately brought out some 'store reserves' from the back, which included the Dalian Core Icon and an opening day pin. These were technically not for sale, but noticing there were two Core Icons, I cheekily pleaded with him to let me have one. After navigating several internal approvals, my new friend went out of his way to make an exception for me, and I finally got my wish! The Hard Rock pin collecting community is incredibly small, and we even discovered we had mutual friends when we chatted! So when he said, '成人之美' – essentially, 'it's a pleasure to help someone achieve their desire' – it perfectly captured the mutual respect and camaraderie that runs through our small community of collectors. My heartfelt thanks! If you're a fellow pin enthusiast, you absolutely must come and check it out, and have a chat with the store manager in person. That's where true passion and dedication truly shine. Oh, and remember the manager's name – Rock Shop Michael Jackson!"

"My friend and I were traveling during a holiday, laden with bags, and I was worried about long queues for check-in. Lisa, knowing we were on vacation, was incredibly thoughtful. She specifically arranged a non-smoking floor room for us and proactively told us where to find popular local snacks, bubble tea shops, and shopping areas near the hotel. She clearly explained taxi routes and walking directions and even reminded us to be careful when going out at night. She was truly as considerate as a friend. Walking into the room, I was immediately impressed. The cleanliness was impeccable, the room was spacious, and the layout was cozy and comfortable, creating a great vibe for photos, perfect for a girls' trip. Throughout our stay, whenever we saw Lisa entering or exiting the hotel, she would always greet us with a smile. When we needed disposable items or extra bottles of water on short notice, we just mentioned it to the front desk, and Lisa would immediately help us out. Her attitude was consistently excellent – patient and thorough, never perfunctory. The hotel's cleaning staff were also very diligent, tidying the room on time every day, making the beds, replenishing supplies, and keeping everything spotless. Lisa is such a gentle, warm, and detail-oriented person who always puts guests first. Her service was exceptionally thoughtful and down-to-earth, making our stay incredibly comfortable and reassuring. The Shangri-La's location is also very convenient, whether you're going to the airport or attractions. My bestie and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit this area!"

"I visited with my children for a hot spring trip. It was very cold outside, but as soon as we entered the hotel lobby, it felt incredibly warm. Ms. LIA was truly wonderful. She arranged a comfortable, child-friendly room for us and promptly delivered all the necessities we requested. Since it was our first time here and we weren't familiar with the area, she also recommended some fantastic restaurants near Gastein, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The hot springs were so relaxing and warming, and the breakfast was excellent too. This is definitely a place I'd love to visit again. Thank you so much!"

"The hotel isn't new, but it's well-maintained, and the landscaping is beyond reproach! We took the metro to the final station, then a Didi/Alipay taxi. It was 14:00 there and 18:00 back. We booked a very basic room with one large bed, which looked like it was 2 by 2 meters. We stayed in November. The whole hotel was warm. There's a separate area with large indoor pools and slides for children aged 3 or older. The onsen itself is divided into three equal parts: one common area and two specifically for men and women, where swimsuits are not allowed. The common area has two outdoor onsen and a large heated pool. The women's area has a more fun outdoor landscape and baths than the common area. There were always crowds of people there. Sometimes it was children screaming and splashing around. Sometimes it was just peace and quiet. It closes at 9:00 PM, so we were practically alone in the evening. It's a perfect place for autumn! The air is cool, and sitting in the bath by the moonlight is pure bliss!!! There are also separate foot baths outside. They also have a really great atmosphere. We looked at the menu; the dishes were complex, with lots of sauces and seafood. The prices were high, but we didn't feel like eating them. The breakfast was beautifully presented, but rather basic, nothing special. We had the same at the Ibis. Overall, we were very pleased! You could stay for 2-3 days and really chill out, if only the food was more basic or we could get the hang of delivery. We paid 12,400 rubles per night; we were with a 10-year-old child, but he's not very expensive, so there were no extra charges. Overall, it was a great experience for the cold season! We recommend it."

"My friend told me this was the best Four Seasons in Northeast China, and I had a really pleasant stay in Dalian this time. Before checking in, I communicated my needs and they even upgraded me to a sea view room for free! The hotel's overall service was incredibly attentive and thorough; they pretty much granted every request. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, and the amenities were excellent – I loved the scent. The sea view from the room was also outstanding. The location is fantastic too. It's very close to Silver Beach, Bangchuidao Island, Nanshan Road, and Zhongshan Square. Personally, I think it's more convenient than staying near Xinghai Square. There are also many must-try restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel; I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit."
