"I've stayed in many hotels, and this one was definitely a highlight. I booked the Executive Suite and got room 506, which I was very pleased with. The room was spotless, all the facilities were brand new, and the bedding was super comfortable. The toiletries smelled absolutely amazing! We were two adults and one child, and the sofa bed in the room was already made up for us. Since it was Chinese New Year's Eve, and we were worried about not finding food, we pre-booked the hotel restaurant, and the food was pretty good too. Definitely worth a stay."

"We stayed at a motel in Wanaka. The owner was very welcoming during check-in, explaining the surroundings and the supermarket's location, which made us feel right at home. "The gravel leading up to and around the hostel is a really poor design choice. Don't most guests arrive with luggage? It was so difficult dragging my suitcase over those stones. Plus, the hostel rooms are in a separate building in the courtyard, seemingly made of wood and corrugated metal. It got incredibly hot at night, and there was no air conditioning, making it impossible to sleep. On the bright side, it's very close to the lake. I also paid more than the usual rate for my booking, which only added to my dissatisfaction."

"I was really scared by the previous comments, but the experience was good after the actual stay.
The landlord will send an email in advance to inform the location of the homestay and how to check in by yourself. It is about two or three kilometers away from the main city of Wanaka, and the last section of the road is without street lights. If you are not driving, it is not recommended to stay. But it is precisely because there is no light around the remote location, and you can watch stars in the yard at night.
There is a parking space in the yard, and I feel very warm as soon as I enter the house. It should be that the landlord has turned on the air conditioner in advance. The room is fully set, and the coffee made by the capsule coffee machine is very fragrant.
The bedding feels sanitary conditions are average, and there are old stains. Fortunately, we have brought our own four-piece travel kit."

"The location wasn't a major issue since the center of Wanaka is quite small. Although it's not directly on the lake, it was an easy walk. However, if you prefer a hotel right on the waterfront, you might want to consider other options. The kitchen facilities are especially well-equipped, making it an excellent choice if you're looking for a studio-style room. I would definitely consider staying here again if I revisit."

GGuest UserWe had an excellent stay. The room and whole property are immaculate. Extremely clean and comfortable bed. Kitchen with dishwasher and mini fridge was great to have. Very welcoming and warm service.
Location is a bit of a drive from the lake but there is plenty of parking around the busy area so it was easy.

GGuest UserThe location is great, just a short walk to Lake Wanaka, and the Intercity bus station is right across the street. There are also many restaurants nearby. We arrived by bus in the morning, and the reception staff helped us store our luggage. They even showed us to our room when we checked in in the afternoon. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with a Bluetooth speaker. Listening to music, sipping wine, and enjoying the lake view from the terrace on the terrace was a wonderful experience.

AAnonymous UserVery cozy room, spacious with a balcony, and the heating was excellent. It has a rustic charm, with a metal key for the door. The front desk closes quite early, so if you have any issues, there's no one to help.
It seemed there was no hot water for showering, and again, no one around to resolve it, which was a shame.
Breakfast was extremely basic, haha, so be prepared!

HhyykkkFacilities: The kitchen tools are complete, and there is a hot pot barbecue two-in-one pot. Eat hot pot one day and eat barbecue one day, which is beautiful.
Hygiene: Not bad, clean and comfortable.
Service: The uncle who checked in was very good, probably took a road.
Environment: Lake Wanaka is in front of the hotel. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the commercial street. It is all eaten. It is also close to the local supermarket NEW WORLD. It takes about 25 minutes to walk along the lake to the lonely tree.

XXiaoyingxiongFacilities: Very new, all the appliances worked perfectly. The kitchen was truly well-equipped. I was so happy to finally be able to cook my own meals! I was completely satisfied. I cooked beef, mutton, seafood, and ramen noodles, and the next morning I made dumplings. I hadn't eaten so full in ages! It was a relief for my Chinese stomach.
The bathtub even had a massage—super comfortable.
Cleanliness: Very clean, which is my biggest concern. I was very satisfied and felt at ease staying here.
Environment: A very quiet place with decent ambiance. The view is a little less impressive due to the low location, but you can still see the beautiful snow-capped mountains in the distance in the early morning. It's very friendly for self-drive travelers. There's ample free parking, and each car is parked right in front of your room. The ground-floor rooms have a patio for relaxing, which is very comfortable.
Service: Very good. There was a minor glitch at the front desk when we were new to the hotel, but the next morning, a Chinese staff member promptly addressed the issue. Communication was very smooth, and it was completely resolved. Excellent.
This room was the most comfortable stay of this trip.

AAnonymous UserGreat location with parking, though it can get quite full. It's a short 5-minute walk to the lake, and there's a supermarket right across the street with plenty of restaurants nearby. The room only has a microwave and a fridge; no induction or gas hob, and not many other appliances. The main door is more like a balcony door. Being on the ground floor was fine, but if you're on the second floor, you'll have to carry your luggage up the stairs. All the emails and written notices stated that check-out was at 4 PM, but upon arrival, we were told it was 5 PM. I heard that for after-hours check-in, the key would be in a safe near the front desk. The toiletries provided (hand soap, shampoo, and shower gel) are all honey-scented, which was an interesting experience. The front desk was manned by a kind grandma, and I think I saw a grandpa doing the cleaning.

MMachinerySmooth checkin with very warm welcome greet. Everything works great and the small washing machine was free! I love the fact that salt and pepper is provided in the kitchenette made my cooking more complete. Great Location only 10 minutes walk to the beach and town centre , great vibe! Leisure centre is 5 minutes drive away with great swimming pool and jacuzzi.
