"For just over 200 baht a night, including breakfast for two, this hotel far exceeded my expectations! First off, the 24-hour front desk service allowed us to check in even in the early hours of the morning. Plus, the front desk gave us a 100 baht voucher, which we could use downstairs for drinks or desserts – a great deal! The room itself was spacious, with a small balcony and fresh air. Toiletries were well-stocked, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Just a heads up, though, there was only one pair of slippers, which might be an issue for multiple guests. What truly impressed me was the hotel's Japanese breakfast. It was rich in variety and incredibly delicious, even better than some dedicated Japanese restaurants. I highly recommend trying it out; breakfast is served from 7 AM to 10 AM. There's a 7-Eleven just a 6-minute walk from the hotel. The airport and a nearby bus station are about an 18-minute walk, but be aware you'll need to cross a pedestrian overpass (no elevator). A taxi ride takes about 10 minutes and costs around 180 baht."

Easy to walk through the station to the escalator which takes you to the front of the hotel entrance,
( no need to cross the busy road)
Even though I had a room on the sixth floor facing the rail link, I was still able to sleep ( due to jet lag)

"I booked superior king size for the first time. Last few stays in same hotel were in deluxe rooms.
This time the room is still spaciousness and well equipped.
However, we had to change room As there was a strong smell (sour and weird) smell when we stepped into the room. After checked by the hotel service staff, they helped to give us another room.
We were very gratefully for the change. The new room was ok until I realised the control panel for the lights , air con etc have faulty digital numbers.
The aircon numbers and alarm numbers are not showing up.
It was a struggle to have to guess the temperature settings.
I did not request for change of room again as I can live with the faulty control panel .
However, it’s about time hotel should have checks in all superior rooms.
Guests paid lower room rate but we still deserve to stay in a perfect room."

"Spacious rooms, equipped with washing machine with inbuilt dryer, with detergent powder provided. Do note that while soap and shampoo is provided, there is no toothbrush and toothpaste. It’s a convenient walk to Nana station and Nana plaza. The rooms are generally clean but a bit run down, and the bedsheets were problematic for me (there were holes, dirt, and a footprint), and I saw a bug on the last day of stay."

Housekeeping was done daily and amenities were replenished.
A queen bed and bunk bed is good for 3 pax, although the room was a little small. Able to fit a large and medium luggage. Wished there was one more table for putting stuff or eating snacks as there’s only a side table."

"I actually found the place amazing and totally worth the price despite some recent bad reviews. Our flight got delayed and we arrived very late - around 1.00AM yet the staff was so welcoming and kind!
Rooms were clean, linen and the bed was good. Morning meal was really good too. There was a slight damp smell in the bathroom but apart from that we did not find any other problems.
Has a little 7/11 vending machine downstairs and the hotel is in close proximity to the airport (little difficult to go to and from the airport by foot but the Grab/ Taxi costs around 90-100 Bhat)"

"Initially got problem looking for this hotel. The location is near to another hotel. Find this hotel clean and bright. 7-11 is just near the side entrance. Good taste Wanton noodle stall is nearby. Opposite there is a new Big C.
My early check-in was fufil 1 hour in advance which i had request prior to my trip. As for the breakfast, tried on the last day, food spread variety is there. Overall, very happy with my stay here. Will come back n recommend to others."

"I had a decent stay at this hotel. The room was clean and the area was quiet, which made it comfortable to rest. The location is very convenient, with all the necessary shops and services nearby. It is also within walking distance to Don Mueang Airport, which is very helpful for early or late flights. One thing to note is that the hotel does not have an elevator, so you will need to use the stairs. Overall, it was a good stay for the price."

"My stay was generally okay, but there were a few things that affected the overall experience. The air-conditioning unit was quite noisy, which made it a bit hard to relax. The room also had a lot of cabinets—more than necessary—so it felt a bit cluttered and I wasn’t really sure what their purpose was.
Another issue was the door lock. It malfunctioned twice during my stay, and I had to go down to the reception both times to get it fixed. The staff assisted me, but it was still inconvenient.
Overall, the stay was decent, but there are areas that definitely need improvement for a smoother guest experience."

CCK97My wife and I recently celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary with a 3-night stay at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel and it was an unforgettable experience.
Although not so modern, our room was luxurious and well maintained, providing all the comforts and amenities we needed. We especially looked forward to breakfast each morning, eager to enjoy the chef’s special of the day, which never disappointed and added a delightful start to our day.
During our stay, we appreciated the convenient location near all the shopping malls and attractions.
Overall, our experience at the Grand Hyatt Erawan was wonderful except for an evening where the shower area and all the taps only has hot water regardless turning on the cold or hot water tap. The technician team was quick in resolving the issue about 15-20 mins later.
It made our 21st wedding anniversary extra special, and we will still come back for more anniversary celebrations. Highly recommended for couples or anyone seeking a luxurious getaway.

GGuest UserWe arrived here on Christmas Day and received the kindest and warmest of welcomes. The reception area was beautifully decorated and it had a general good feel about it. The rooms are down dark, colonial style panelled corridors and the carpeting adds to the cosy ambiance. The rooms are very nice, good size, plenty of space and everything you need available. The beds are the highlight, the most sumptuous soft and cosy linens and duvet, incredibly comfortable. The bathroom is good with large shower and seat, the toiletries were very nice.
Breakfast is good, not amazing but plenty to choose from. You can order coffee from the bar but it takes ages and is not particularly good. The alternative is the machine coffee which is pretty awful. The ambiance in the dining area is very nice, lots of collectibles and interesting artifacts which continue the colonial theme.
The pool area was the biggest shock for us, bearing in mind the high standards throughout the rest of the hotel. There are only 8 beds and a very odd collection of mismatching and broken chairs and tables. If you plan to spend any time there, be sure to get there early. The chap who looks after the pool area is very kind and helpful but it really is substandard for a five star hotel.
Location is perfect, a mere stroll to the madness of Patpong market or the BTS station is also close.
Overall we had a great stay of 4 nights and would recommend this hotel

SSuofeiyaniCleanliness: The hotel is quite new, so it was very clean. We were initially in room 309, but due to a strong odor from the bathroom drain, we were promptly moved to room 615, which was much better. The front desk staff were excellent, very responsive and quick to resolve the issue.
The hotel offers a shuttle service to a nearby mall, but it's only one-way, which makes it less convenient and somewhat pointless without a return service.
Breakfast was fantastic! The noodle soup and congee were particularly good, and the service staff were prompt in clearing plates. There was also a wide variety of fruits, so much so that we couldn't possibly try them all.
Upon checking out, the bell staff proactively helped us arrange a taxi to the airport. Their service was exceptionally attentive and thoughtful.

CCurt 常鹰We saved this hotel until last – slightly fancier than the other 3 in our time in Thailand – as a little final night trip, and unfortunately, it was the most disappointing of the lot. The price, by global standards, might not be eye-watering. But by Thailand prices, it was certainly higher end, at over 800rmb per night with a ~450 (2000bht) deposit upon arrival. It did not meet those standards, I'm afraid to say.
First things first, it should be said that it is fairly easy to get to on the MTR system, just a very short walk from Hwai Khwang, though it should be pointed out that when using Trip to find the location of Google Maps, I was given the wrong spot (further down the road, so actually a nice surprise to see it was closer, and I wont hold this against the hotel as it is likely nothing to do with them.)
Serve at check-in was good, bags carried up the stairs for us and taken to the room with the porter stood waiting as we arrived. Check-in staff were as friendly as one would expect at a Marriott-run hotel of this quality, & though I was slightly surprised by the price of the deposit it was ultimately fine.
We had booked a deluxe room with a double bed, and were told that since there was none available (?), we'd be upgraded to a Premier. Looking at the app since, I'm struggling to see where they differ. The decor in the Premier is perhaps a bit more modern, but they are the same size with the same bathroom (more on that later), and the lower price-point is on a much higher floor (ergo better view, I'd assume). In truth, had I paid for a Premier & been greeted with our room, I'd have been even more disappointed.
The room was fine, but I'm not sure much more than that. A decent size, though by no means surprisingly big. It was at least quite airy, and the bed pretty comfortable, though seriously lacking in plug sockets. I find it rare to see a hotel these days without plug sockets on both sides of the bed, especially a hotel at this price point. It meant that only one phone could be charged nearby, the other on the table on the other side of the room.
The bathroom, though, was really, really disappointing (& that's putting it lightly). The bathtub might have been a nice touch, had it not quite clearly had dried on blood stains in it. I've never experienced this in any hotel I've ever stayed at, no matter how cheap. Let alone at one double the price of anywhere else we stayed in Bangkok and Thailand! The sink, too, was clearly scratched up dirty, with two clear globs of dried on mucus. No face washing in there for us. Fortunate perhaps, given the number of towels provided too was pretty light. The bin in the bathroom also came with no bin bag. I'd hope that the inside is therefore cleaned regularly, but given what we'd seen before, I wasn't filled with hope.
Elswhere, breakfast was generally of expected quality. Nothing to write home about per se, but a very nice dining area and good service in fairness. The coffee was decent, though again by no means hugely memorable. The swimming pool is a highlight, offering great views across the city (indeed, the view from our room was quite nice too – though can't help thinking it would be better from a higher floor, like in the cheaper rooms!), with ample comfy beds and free towels. It might be a bit small in peak season, but there were only 3 other groups sharing with us, so plenty of space for a swim.
We also enjoyed the massage (850bht). The price was not included in the room fee, but I thought 850 seemed a decent price for the quality and the convenience.
Each of these things could be the most memorable part of the trip, were we not greeted by the dirtiest bathroom I've ever experienced in a hotel. & that's a real pity, because it was so avoidable too! Especially from a Marriott hotel, I'd really expect better.

GGuest UserRamada is an excellent hotel as per our usual, back here many times, great breakfast, great service and the hotel with the help of Aung La from reception desk upgraded our rooms to premium rooms and provided late check out till 1pm which was very much appreciated. Highly recommended hotel if you want to be close to everything and they provide shuttle boat to main pier.

GGuest UserLe D'Tel is always a convenient and enjoyable stay. It's location is perfect, nearby local shops, restaurants, the parks etc. The staff are friendly and easy to communicate with. The gym is simple but enough to have a bit of a sweat, plus the pool on the roof is clean and usually quiet.

GGuest UserOh... it's hard. The hotel is very aesthetic and the first impression is great. Very nice restaurant and bar.
The room was equipped with everything you need, including bathrobes and an ironing board. Very comfortable bed. But unfortunately, I already know why there were no photos of the bathroom - it is very small, and the ceiling is probably at a height of 2.20m. And mold/dirty, dingy fugues... that shouldn't happen.
Breakfasts are tasty, but not very rich - on the plus side, different dishes are served every day. Several imported products such as Parmesan or Pepperoni.
Unfortunately, we had an unpleasant situation at the bar, where we were ignored by the staff and the door was closed ahead of time.
Honestly, I expected more. It's not a bad hotel, but I won't be going back in the future.

YYibeibeibeiThe hotel facilities are new and comfortable. However, before we checked in, the staff's room inspection was lacking. We arrived on a red-eye flight and only went to bed at 5 AM. To our dismay, the smart speaker in the room alarm went off at around 8 AM. We were really disturbed by the noise, and our rest was completely ruined.
The only drawback is the relatively inconvenient location. It's a 15-minute walk to the BTS station, which was fine since the weather was cool during our visit. It would have been quite a struggle if it had been hot.
On the other hand, there are many great restaurants in the alleys opposite the BTS station.

GGuest UserRoom was not cleaned properly and can see the dust. Moreover the bed sheet and blanket were tearing and the bed was noisy and not in good condition. The balcony had not been opened and locked. The cockroach was seen inside the room. And then toothbrush and toothpaste were not put inside the shower room even included since booking. But staffs from the reception were polite, friendly and helpful.
